For sides, they give the option to choose 2 between fries, salad or hummus. What sets them apart from the red "spicy" rice. While not spicy at all, it is pretty damn tasty. While their red sauce leaves a little to be desired (it has a slightly off-putting vinegary taste and not very spicy), their green sauce is amazing with its zesty cilantro and mint taste! All that cost me only $11, while Halal Guys is over here charging $14+ for a platter and nickel and dimes us for sauce packets. I classify Halal Munchies as a must eat when visiting NY!

They offered to change them for something else but I declined. My main concern is how food is being handled. Most employees had gloves on but were touching all the surfaces with the gloves on and then handling food. All employees were struggling with the order screen and kept touching the screen and then handling the food. I understand that kitchens get busy but there should be better training for using the order system and a better way for them to communicate the orders. Orders were taking longer than expected despite a small crowd. Customer service is friendly. This place is decent but needs some refinement.
