We tried out this place last night for the first time and gotta say, LOVED the fried chicken!!! We ordered all different chicken pieces (wings, thigh, etc.) and thought they were all cooked just right and very tasty. Next time, we will try out the sandwich and other menu items. Tried it today and below is my review based on what I like and I do not. What I like: 1) Owner is super nice and very friendly person. He is my countrymate and it was very nice to have a chat with him. He was very friendly to my kids too. 2) Chicken broast was amazing and taste very good. It is been a while I had this good halal broast after I moved from Toronto. What I do not like: 1) There was no option of 10 broast pieces available which should be as it was posted. 2) pieces of broast do not justify price tag of 5 pieces as apart from the drumstick other are boneless thigh pieces which are very small in size. 3) I requested to have two drumsticks in my order and owner said he will make it happen but when I opened my order found it only has one. read more

Best fried chicken I've had in a while. Great hospitality and prices.

Been here a few times, but this time I noticed they've upgraded the atmosphere of the restaurant and the internal look ( a few frames with decent size wallpapers, and a an enormous black one that makes burgers look even more attractive), these also complement the color scheme well. More importantly my wife and I ordered the ODI deal, which was the appropriate amount for us. The two bouncers (fried chicken burgers) came with a couple chicken pieces as well, fries and two sodas. I've already been a fond of the burgers, especially the Yorker, but never tried the pieces. Anyway, what came was one thigh and one leg, and oh boy, let me tell you: perfect size, perfect crunch, perfect price (for the deal), perfect spice, perfect texture, perfect service. Tried the Beamer for the first time, and it is a fantastic fried chicken sandwich. It has a very generous portion of perfectly crispy chicken packed to the brim, and the sauce on top is very savory as well. Tried the 10 pcs Howzatt and the taste was really good. Loved the coleslaw. Also tried their bouncer burger and omg that tasted great as well. We upgraded to a meal so it came with the fries and a drink and the fries were fresh and good. However, it would be highly appreciated if they could add more bun with their howzatt chicken meal. Hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. I've been to every possible halal place in California that offers fried chicken sandwiches and no one does it better than Halal Fried Chicken. The chicken is top-notch quality and the breading is amazing! The breading is so insanely good I was shocked!! I was even more shocked to find that the food wasn't greasy at all. The Bouncer was absolutely amazing -- very saucy -- and the Yorker was something special. If you're looking for something truly different, go with the Yorker. The combination of the fried chicken with the pepperoni was too good. I can't express how amazing this place is and you really do feel the baraka in the food from an awesome brother who runs this place. If you're reading this, go and try it now, you will not regret it. so I went to eat their Biryani and they said it was not ready and that I would have to wait 35 mins for my food!! they previously said I would take 15 mins. Another time I took my wife specifically to eat their Biryani and they said it had finished. I ordered a five piece meal and got the macaroni salad as my side. The Good: The guy who took my order was very nice and attentive. The fried chicken was very tasty and the sauces that came with it added to the flavor well. The breading on the chicken had a nice flavor. The "Could be better": I ordered a five piece meal that said on the menu would include two legs, a thigh, and two breasts. What I got was two wing "drummettes" and three half thighs. I got no breasts at all and the amount of meat on my pieces of chicken was not acceptable considering the price. The chicken was about 3/4ths breading and 1/4 actual chicken (including bones). When I saw "Five Pieces" I had assumed I would save some for the next day, but in actuality it was about the equivalent of about 2 to 2.5 pieces of chicken at a KFC or Popeyes. With a can of soda my total was over $19.00 which I don't mind paying for five pieces of chicken with a soda and sides and sauces. But I don't feel it was worth it for the partial pieces of chicken I received. read more

Spend around $44 for a bucket, fries and a sizable sandwich. I'm used to cheaper buckets when it comes to chicken but this isn't fast food! It's quality halal chicken worth your money and beyond. Everything I ordered was so good, and you could tell the chicken was well marinated before. The sauces were also so good. I would skip on the biscuit, when I got it, it was hard as a rock, but overall, if I'm in a mood for chicken again I would hands down go to HFC over popeyes. read more

Amazing food absolutely love the burgers.They are basically trying to emulate the iconic Zinger burger from Pakistan and I can't really say anything bad about these burgers since these are the only guys who sell these kind of burgers. One complaint would be that some times the fried chicken that you'll get will be dry also at times their coleslaw is also not be fresh if they can fix these problems then they deserve 5 stars. read more

Yesterday we ordered chicken but it tasted completely bland, it only tasted of corn flour. The burgers were good though. Last week when we got it the chicken was amazing... but this time it was coated too much with the crumbs and no salt at all. Was disappointed as took my brother to try it out this time. read more

We got the 10 piece howzat fried chicken family meal as well as the Yorker sandwich. The sandwich was excellent and the fried chicken itself was crunchy and very tasty. We have tried a few of the other halal fried chicken places in the area and the chicken here has been the best. One area they could improve upon is the sides and bread - the macaroni salad, corn, and fries are just ok and I'm just used to fried chicken with biscuits - which they don't have. That said the fried chicken is the reason to go and we have found our go-to place for it now in the area, and will be going back soon. read more
