The foot itself was okay, I enjoyed the rice and chicken and thought it had good flavor. However, the white and red sauce was not good IMO. They both taste like ranch and the red sauce which is supposed to be spicy wasn't spicy at all. Since I love drenching my chicken and rice plates with sauce, I was quite disappointed by the food itself. I know halal white sauce is similar to ranch, but I'm not joking when I say it tastes like Hidden Valley ranch. I was immediately turned off by the sauce and refused to give it to my husband because I knew he'd also not like it. Came here for a quick weekend lunch. Nice clean space, not super busy. The people behind the counter were pleasant. Parking is plenty, no issues there. The minced chicken kebab was moist and melt in your mouth good! The plate comes with 2 skewers of chicken, with rice and salad. While I loved their matcha chicken, the rice was a lot lacking in flavor. They offer 3 different kinds of sauces to go with the food and they were all delicious. I love this place. Their portions are huge, their prices are fair, their service is extremely quick! It took probably less than 5 mins for them to bring my food out. I always order their protein over rice combo - typically one of the following: Chicken & Lamb Mix Over Rice, Chicken Mix Over Rice, or Lamb Mix Over Rice. If you'd been to Halal Guys, this is basically a similar type of dish and concept. They even come with their own version of white sauce which I like a little better as it is more of an herb base vs. the Halal Guys version. The taste is great, and the portion sizes are reasonable - not huge, but also not tiny like a lot of other places are these days. The price for our dishes (given it's a work order) seem reasonable as well. I've heard from people that other dishes are quite good as well. If you're in the mood for some Halal / Greek food, it's worth giving them a try! I wouldn't come out of your way for this food, but it's definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere nearby. read more

The meal is about 90 dollars after tax. The family meal for 5-6 people definitely had enough food to feed our group of five, even with grabbing seconds and thirds. It includes kuftas, kabobs, bread, rice, quabi, salad and large tubs of sauce. It was all good! I would only have to say that our group much preferred the kuftas to the kabobs because the chicken and lamb kabobs were dry. We also love quabi, so I wish they had added more to the tray. Decided to give it one more shot with a different menu item choice a month or so later and it was much improved. This place we decided to stop since we were out and about. It mentioned they had afghan food as per the signs of the store but that's not accurate. The platter said it had brown rice, and it was supposed to be Afghan. Ive been to salang pass (in its good ol days), de afghanan, khyber pass, maiwand market, and other Afghan places and the "brown rice" in this was not up to the standard . The meat pieces had already been cooked and were just rewarmed up, the chicken pieces had rhat layer on them that you know it was cooked already but rewarmed up either in a microwave or an oven. The same with the kebab it was hard and also had the feeling of being warmed up later. The rice was cold and as I mentioned did not make it up to Standard of brown rice, it looked more like grey rice to be honest. The Philly cheese steak is the only thing that saved this review, i have not had many philly cheese steaks in order to compare it to or give a proper critique but it tasted alright. I would probably get that again if i had to and if i was nearby. The store had soda cans but unfortunately no regular pepsi flavor only Diet Pepsi. No one likes being a Negative Nelly on Yelp. Well, trolls do which is why some people don't trust Yelp but that's another story. Given how tough it is to run a small business and finding quality staff these days, I try not to give less than 3 stars because I know how much a negative review can impact a business. With that being said, talking sh*t and dropping F bombs in front of customers is rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Maybe the male staff didn't think I heard him but I did because the place was empty. IF you have an issue with a customer (us), then speak directly WITH them (us). We're all adults, right? Aside from that, the food seems to now be pre-cooked because our order was ready in less than 2 minutes and the kebabs were dry, tough, and lukewarm.
