Living in the South Bay, my wife and I are absolutely BLESSED to be able to be surrounded by 8 different In-N-Out Burger locations, all within 10 miles away. But we SPECIFICALLY and INTENTIONALLY choose going to this particular location (Sunnyvale) because of one particular reason and that is Cameron. The absolute sweetest, righteous man you will ever meet just happens to be delightfully serving In-N-Out patrons at this location. He will welcome you in with the most radiant smile and treat you like his own flesh and blood. We've witnessed this on multiple occasions and he does this to EVERYONE. We even took our toddler children here once and he became beloved Uncle Cameron. Thank you so much to Cameron for being the salt/seasoning of In-N-Out Burger. This is a follow up to my last review for the same location and specifically for the excellent customer service by Kenneth. We were so excited to see that Kenneth was working the takeout window! I'm not sure what the hierarchy looks like at In-N-Out, but I'm going to guess that the takeout window is a better post than taking orders outside. In either case, Kenneth is the embodiment of the customer service that In-N-Out strives for during their trainings. Juggling school and work isn't easy, I've been working since I was 14, but this young brother's warm personality and easy charm are signs that greatness lies for him. Californians staple food! :) Friends from out of town and those who are coming back from a visit always crave In N Out... with good reason! Tasty meal for under $10? Totally unheard of these days! My favorite is to get a double-double animal style (or 3x3 when I am feeling extra hungry). And I love their vanilla shakes too! You can do a google search for the secret menu to see what other options you can ask for. The two most popular are animal style and protein style. Animal style is basically a grilled mustard patty, secret sauce (aka thousand island), and grilled onions. You can also get protein style to get a lettuce wrap instead of buns. There are definitely lulls between the busy periods if you learn the timings. :) Love that they will send somebody out to take orders at the drive through line when it gets busy to help make the line of cars move along more quickly. My kiddos (and I!) love their stickers too. :) They are especially great on long car trips to distract the kiddos for a few minutes... because who doesn't love stickers? :) (I think they have switched to activity books since I originally wrote this review.) read more

It was my first time back at In-N-Out in over a year! Omg it's exactly how I remembered it! I ordered a #1 meal with a Diet Coke. The burger was perfect and the cheese is my favorite part LOL (weird.. I know!). I wish there was more tbh. The fries were saltier than I remembered, but still good. For the money, it's pretty good! I will say we went at 11am and the drive thru line was SO SLOW. It took us almost 30 min to get through. Thankfully the food was good! Can never go wrong with In-N-Out! read more

When we got there it was decently crowded but our order was taken very quickly and even through the line was long it moved along very quickly. The service was very quick and friendly. I love how the ambience is laid back and you cannot beat the prices, $6.50 for a double cheeseburger is gorgeous. What's there to say about In-n-Out that hasn't already been said? Consistently fresh, delicious smash burger with great service. It's a must eat when in California. I have my own opinions and don't care to weigh in on the great east vs. west coast burger debate. Opinions aside, how can you argue with in-n-out prices? It's the most affordable. I would love for In-n-out to come to the east coast- I would embrace with open arms. Their fries suck. I've tried it well done, well well done, well done x3, animal style, etc. Sucks every time. The other negative reviews nail it: this place is simply not even close the In-N-Out standards. The person taking my order was rude and smug. He missed stuff in the order (which wasn't very large). And when we got home and pulled out our order some things that were clearly communicated while placing the order were completely wrong. When I went back to try fix it they gave a perfunctory 'sorry'. Absolute joke of a location. I've been to In-N-Out Burger plenty of times, and this place completely misses the standard. First time through the drive-thru, I ordered a large drink and got a medium. Asked for extra spread, watched them "pretend" to put it in the bag, and of course when I got home--nothing was there. Second visit was even worse. Ordered a 3x3 and what I got looked like a sad, poorly assembled double double at best. The patties were ridiculously thin--barely there--and some were literally the size of bottle caps. Completely unacceptable for a place that prides itself on consistency. Overall, careless service, sloppy food, and zero attention to detail. Easily the worst In-N-Out experience I've ever had. As time went by and as I ate at in n out I found myself enjoying it more and more. Maybe it's because you unlock the ability to have your food modified to your ideal order. One of fast food burger chains where you get quality and bang for your buck. Here's how I like my double double burger: I get it animal style with whole grilled onions and chopped chilies with extra toasty buns. I usually get my fries extra crispy or standard depending on the texture I'm craving. I get my shakes neopolitan. Expectations and service. Either you love it or hate it and well in my opinion I really love it! First off the price point, consistency and quality of the burgers and fries all go hand in hand. We split up our fries both regular and animal styles I like that you can customize your burgers and be sure to order to combos that'll save you a few dimes. I haven't had bad service at any of the many locations we've visited. The workers also strive to keep the place clean and are constantly cleaning up tables. Pretty busy ambience inside so try and wait to scope out a table; the staff is pretty quick at wiping down tables. Cheeseburger -- solid classic cheeseburger, I usually opt for a double double but this was still a juicy bite Animal Fries -- animal sauce, grilled chopped onions, melted cheese, perfectly warm & crisp fries - the perfect fry combination Chocolate Shake -- this chocolate shake at the Sunnyvale location for some reason tasted way better than past locations I've tried, perfectly cool, viscous and even sugar & chocolate levels In-n-out Sunnyvale is a tried and true testament to the best of in-n-out values: cheap, quality food served in ready order. Came by for lunch the other day and it was a mediocre experience. Parking was available in the tiny lot. Dining is available both indoors or outdoors. The burger joint was sparkling clean. Staff were wearing the In N Out uniform with name tag and some even opted to wear gloves. The associate taking my order was cordial and quick. My food was ready within minutes. Opted for a double-double protein style and it was decent althought the burger was a touch salty. The side of fries were quite salty and were best hot out of the fryer. This location has probably 15 ish parking spots, but if you drive towards the back it's connected to the lot used by the medical offices on the other side of the block. When it gets busy, I'd just walk in - I swear that's much faster than waiting in the insanely long drive through. However, I've never had problems with finding a table at least for lunch and have never waited in line to order longer than 15 minutes. Hate to review this In N Out, but necessary since it is one of the best in the south bay! Couldn't gate keep! This Sunnyvale location is one of the best. Service is great. Drive thru is definitely the most efficient. Only downside, the space isn't very big, so when drive thru does have a long line, it flows into traffic which is a bit inconvenient. Staff here is really friendly. I usually customize my burger, and they usually get it right with extra lettuce/extra onions etc. If I'm ever in the area, I will usually stop by and grab a quick burger! read more

We have been eating at this place for over 20 years. It is always our default burger place. The taste has been consistently fresh and delicious until recently. The burgers coming out this place were now extremely salty. We had one "salty" order and had to order no salt burgers but they came out equally salty. I guess this place has a heavy-salty guy.
