There was a time when I would've told anybody or even stood outside this pizzeria and screamed at the top of my lungs to come in and try their food. But just recently recently, the two pies for a particular price on Tuesdays that price went up. The quality of Pizza went to ship. I'm gonna safely assume that the father does not run the business anymore and the sons have become extremely greedy because they want a particular lifestyle. Don't take me wrong. The boys that owned the business are nice kids, but not the brightest. I recently made an order of a particular item, and was charged a tremendous amount of money when they fix the order they charge me three more times and put every individual piece in a separate container which I thought was a waste. The only good thing about this "pizzeria", is the Pizza and maybe the smiles when you walk in. Other than that, they could scrap their whole menu. The place is always clean given to the delivery boys that are always wiping down the tables and sweeping the floor floors. So if you order from here, take caution, most of the food that you order from there are frozen and then heated on a flat surface except for the pizza dough. Other than that, you might as well just go to Costco and buy yourself. I'll give two stars only because the pizza dough. read more

It's your basic, standard NJ pizza. It's better than pizza in other states but if you live in NJ/NY than it's nothing to write home about. The prices are fair. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had - and I've gotten NYC pizza! Whether it's fresh, been sitting around in the box for a while, or reheated in the oven the next day, it's unmatched. And for a great price! I normally get a large plain, extra cheese, or pepperoni pie. The dough is the best part! It's soft but not thin, so the cheese and grease don't make it soggy. Even the crust is soft! I normally eat it as is, but sometimes I shake extra garlic powder on it and it tastes great. I will say though - you probably won't like the pizza here if you prefer crunchy crust but I'm sure you can request it to be extra crispy. *Tip: If you live nearby, it's best to order for takeout because delivery sometimes takes a long time - especially on Fridays and Saturdays (they're closed on Sundays). Great Pizza, great service, fast delivery. I ordered 2 pies and a calzone on a Friday night to be delivered by 6:30pm, they came at exactly 6:30 and everything was hot. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was perfectly done, great crust and flavor not covered in blue cheese like some other places. They deliver to Haledon, Prospect Park and North Haledon. They had zero slices out on the display but they had a full cheese pizza not even cut yet I asked them can I just take that whole pizza they said no we need it for slices. Enough said it was my first time there and will definitely be my last. I wanted to buy the pizza and they didn't want to sell it to me I don't know what kind of pizzeria does that. It's been around since 1998 and this was my first visit to Haledon Pizza. It was 12:30pm on a Saturday. I ordered the large pepperoni pie with extra cheese as I took a seat and waited only 10 minutes. I received friendly service. The place is a bit run down but clean nonetheless. There is no music or television but most orders are to go. There are four tables that seat four each. The pie was actually quite good with a soft crust which I prefer. read more

Old school neighborhood pizza shop!! Was getting my hair cut next door took longer than normal so I was late to make dinner for the kids so I picked up 2 pies 2ltr bottle coke and on my way home I went ! Driving I realized I was charged like 18 bucks ???? Called the shop to make sure I did not get away with theft the guy on the phone said no sir it's Tues 2 pies for 15 $ wow ! Hands down best local pizzeria. I've been ordering from here ever since they opened and I have yet to be disappointed. The place is usually just a pick up or delivery kind of pizzeria. But there is available seating. Don't expect to be thrilled with the seating though, not that pleasant. I've always been picking up my orders and we've gotten close with the owner so that's been a plus. And delivery orders have never been more than 20 minutes of a wait. And prices are cheap, really cheap. Anyways, the food. Pizza is awesome. Sandwiches are awesome, get the cheesesteak. The best around. And the mozzarella sticks. Also the best. The food is okay, but the service is terrible. I went in with a ten dollar bill that I received from another store as change. I gave the cashier the money and he immediately accused me of handing him counterfeit money. He held it up to the light and had multiple others in the store do the same. This went on for a couple of minutes. He made absolutely no attempt at discretion.
