We will always stand behind Ameti's, as a strong, local business. But they need to do their part, as well. They offer Chicken Murphy, a sauté of what should be cut up chicken, sausage, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms & peppers the Ameti's version is close to soup. . .and no sausage. Check the internet, for recipes. One in our family does not like tomato in her wraps, so we SPECIFY that. . .yet, the wrap came with tomatoes. And it's NOT NOT NOT the 3rd party's (Slice's) fault. The order was transmitted correctly. The issue is clearly at Ameti's. We have been loyal patrons of Ameti's, but competition is doing well, and we're now looking to other sources, for Italian food.

Just moved around the corner from Ameti's and pizza was our easiest option with all the moving going on. We chose it because of convenience and actually fell in love. It has become our go to every Friday night. Their pizza is so so good. Always cooked right with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Tonight I tried their cauliflower pizza and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend Ameti's!

this is a $6 piece of cheesecake

for "meh" delivery food, I get that everything is more expensive now, but I think it's all gone too far when 3.1 oz of dessert cost me $6 bucks.

    a ham and cheese sandwich

One of the first times I've been disappointed with Ameti's. My boyfriend and I love their chicken Parmesan sandwich. Today I decided to go for prosciutto sub and asked for balsamic on the side. I paid almost $9 for this and I'm really annoyed. And there is no dressing on the sandwich or on the side. This is not even $9 worth of meat

Here's half of my cheese steak sub... "Where's the beef...???"

Wonderful, not-super-grungy pizzaria. Good pizza is good, but average pizza is also pretty good. Delicious black cherry soda too!

What arrived did not appear to have burrata on it, but instead looked like a different melted cheese. I called the restaurant and asked if they could replace the pizza. I was told a replacement was only available for pickup, and that I would have to place and pay for a new order if I wanted another pizza delivered. When I asked for a refund, I was told I needed to contact the third-party delivery provider because Dough does not process refunds for online delivery orders. I then contacted Toast, the platform used for the order, and was told they could not issue the refund and that I needed to contact the restaurant. I called Dough again, explained the situation, and offered to send a photo. I made it clear that I was not trying to get free food. I simply wanted the correct order. After being placed on hold, I was told that the melted cheese on the pizza was the burrata and that this was how they prepare it. I am including a photo because I have never seen burrata served this way on a pizza. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was incredibly disappointing. I was passed back and forth, offered no reasonable delivery replacement or refund, and ultimately told that the pizza was correct despite what was delivered.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

Hands down the BEST 00-Style Wood-Fired Pizza in New Jersey…read moreyou're anywhere near Fairfield, stop what you're doing and get to Double Zero Pizza. I'm honestly shocked this place isn't packed wall-to-wall every night -- this is the kind of pizza you expect to find in Naples . From the second you walk in, you know they take their craft seriously. Stacks of real wood, the authentic Pavesi Italian oven, and trays of perfectly risen dough balls -- it's the real deal. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just craftsmanship. I ordered two pies: White Pie with Mushrooms & Olives Incredible. The crust has that perfect leopard-spotted char, blistered just right, crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The ricotta and mozzarella are super fresh, the mushrooms taste like they were sliced minutes before hitting the oven, and the olives add the perfect salty punch. Every bite tasted like it was straight out of a wood-fired pizza boutique. Classic Margherita One word: unreal. The sauce is bright and fresh, the cheese melts into little pools of heaven, and the basil actually survives the oven without turning bitter. Balanced, clean, and addictive. The crust is truly the star -- you can tell they use high-quality "00" flour and slow fermentation. Light, airy, not heavy at all. The kind of crust you want to eat all of, even the charred ends. The owner Mike clearly cares about every detail -- from the dough to the toppings to the oven temperature. This isn't "pizza shop pizza," this is artisanal, handcrafted, authentic wood-fired pizza done right. Prices are super fair for this quality. Cash-only but totally worth it. If you love real Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, put this place on your list immediately. Easily one of the best pies I've had in NJ -- maybe the best. I'll definitely be back .
