This place deserves to have GOURMET in their name! Came here with my BF after leaving with disappointment from a nearby organic spot aroundthecorneracrossthestreet. We were happily met with 1 slice of buffalo pizza and 1 slice of plain pizza. Baked with perfection - we felt like we were eating on the streets of Italy, very nice very gourmet indeed. Slices came out quickly and served FRESH! Although this was a short stop, this saved us from the upset tummies we had from the previous spot. The Grandma thin crust pizza is the best around .Good flavor and easy on the teeth . The regular plain slice is really good . We will always stand behind Ameti's, as a strong, local business. But they need to do their part, as well. They offer Chicken Murphy, a sauté of what should be cut up chicken, sausage, peppers, potatoes, mushrooms & peppers the Ameti's version is close to soup. . .and no sausage. Check the internet, for recipes. One in our family does not like tomato in her wraps, so we SPECIFY that. . .yet, the wrap came with tomatoes. And it's NOT NOT NOT the 3rd party's (Slice's) fault. The order was transmitted correctly. The issue is clearly at Ameti's. We have been loyal patrons of Ameti's, but competition is doing well, and we're now looking to other sources, for Italian food. read more

I ordered for the first time... food was great. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with onions, mushrooms mozzarella and gravy. Really liked it. Eggplant parm, large size. Very good. Nice amount of cheese on top and breaded eggplant but not overly breaded. Comes with no pasta or salad, though. Price is good so I guess that's why no side. Also a side of meatballs, which were also good. Prices were fair. I'll be ordering again. Two pet peeves, though... delivering in a box not only is difficult to pick up when contactless delivery was requested if one has bad knees or a bad back...(they aren't the only place to do this, but many others use a bag if not ordering pizza). Also, there's no need to cut the bread. Everyone has knives. We can cut the bread how we want. I won't take off a star for bread... but thought about it for the box. So, full disclosure here-we only had some slices so take this review for what it's worth. Amita's "gourmet' slices were a bit small, but they were also only $0.99 each so I guess the price was right. Pizza was ok, it wasn't the best slice I've ever had, but it was pretty good. I loved te sauce-tasty with a good balance between sweet and savory, but the cheese seemed a bit bland. Crust was just ok, a little small, but the right thickness...but not outstanding-a little too well done for my liking. This place is on grub hub so I ordered a couple times because of the extensive menu. However, they've been getting slower and slower with delivery. The last time i ordered, my estimated delivery time was 20 minutes after the order time but the delivery guy didn't get to my house before an hour had passed. He did apologize and stated the reason he was late was because they received an order for 30 pies. While I understand that's a big order, they shouldn't bump other customers because of it. Unfortunately, gave Ametis another chance. They were really the local favorite, but the owners have completely turned over the business to be run by high school kids. The girls on the phone never get the orders correct. (However, most are very sweet and apologetic.) The people cooking in the back have no idea what they're doing. Chicken Francaise has gone from a nice tender piece of chicken and tasty lemon sauce, to tough Chicken with a white flour consistency sauce with no taste. Ordered the Family Special #1, XL pizza, any sandwich, Caesar salad, 2 liter soda for $21. Not a bad deal if you ask me. The quality of the pizza was average but it arrived cold which was crappy. The meatball parm was warm upon arrival, I didn't personally taste it but others said it was decent. The salad was standard and good, decent size. And the added in bottle of coke was nice. We were told delivery was going to take 45 minutes and it took about 50 minutes (no biggie) but making sure the food arrives at least warm is key. Cold pizza upon arrival is a big bummer. We nuked it in the microwave and still ate it but it's not the same. Overall, I thought the price was good for all we ordered but the quality overall was just mediocre. Much to my shock were two girls who worked there sitting at a table one girl was braiding there other girls long blonde hair. Grandma pie ready at 650 PM but salads not ready. Requested salads 3 times but no salads prepared. Salads completed at 720 PM. Home by 725 PM. Reheated delicious pizza and enjoyed my meal. Updated review from 2012. I'm now feeling disappointment with Ameti's now. Over the past two years, there has been a noticeable drop off in the quality of their pizza. To me, it appears they are now using inferior (cheaper) ingredients. The taste difference is that noticeable. The use of cheaper ingredients, while still increasing the costs does increase profits, but I grow tired and am looking for another local pizza joint. Ordered from them multiple times. They take OVER an hour and a half to deliver 2 pieces of chicken and bread!!!!!!!! I called to check on my order and the guys says "Driver is on his way" and proceeds to hang up on me. I called back and told him that he just hung up on a customer and he did not care at all that there was a disgruntled customer that he just hung up on.
