Yes, I know "pizza" is in the name, and their pizza is SUPERB! But my wife and I enjoy eggplant, sausage, and rolls/wraps. Their white pizza was generous but not top heavy. A great crust, too. Their eggplant roll is exceptional! Lightly fried eggplant with lots of mozzarella in a light crust. My sausage roll (I added peppers) was delicious, and the peppers were FRESH. Great salads that don't overdo the onion and marinara sauce that is fresh and not sugared or oily. Delivery folks are courteous, and deliveries are on time. Good job, Brooklyn Pizza & Kitchen! Reliably good pizza in the neighborhood. Nice crispy chewy crust that's just thin enough (not overly doughy, which I dislike), with a good amount of toppings that spreads almost to the edge, leaving a whip-crack crust that's a pleasure to crunch on, even for those who aren't fans of crust (moi). We order most regularly pizzas, chicken parm, garlic knots, and pastas, all very good. I just wish they didn't charge $1.50 for extra marinara dipping sauce. The pasta is always perfectly cooked. The pasta Alfredo, especially, is outstanding! The sauce is rich, thick, creamy, and seasoned just right. My picky but fine-palated toddler (who turns his nose up at store bought Alfredo sauces) devours it! read more

Food is good. However, the new owner is not accommodating. I order food last Friday night and never received it. Apparently it was delivered to the wrong address and the people accepted my food. How rude is that! I know my name and address was on the receipt.I paid for it by credit card including a tip for the driver. When I reached out the owner didn't want to refund my payment or send me a replacement of my order. Not very good customer service! He was rude. I will say Annie that works there is wonderful and try to make it right and get me a refund. Also when you call there you ending up speaking to at least 3 different people on the 1 number you call. Needless to say I have been a good customer and order from there frequently and now they have lost my business. I understand mistakes happen but is the service business you make it a point to make things right. On February 14, I had the worst pizza I can remember having. The crust tasted like cardboard, there was very little cheese, and hardly any sauce. The pie was tastless except for the meatballs which were not very good. Perhaps they are cutting back on ingredients. I don't know. I do know I will not be ordering from Prime Pizza any time soon. Fortunately, there's a bunch of places to choose from. I failed to mention the terrible fried calamari. While eating the food, it was hard to determine which was worse, the pizza or the calamari. Was out of town and drove by and decided to stop in for a couple slices. Excellent NJ /NY pizza says this guy who lives in Hartford, CT! Thin (but not too thin) crust that was crispy. Cheese and Saudi had an excellent flavor. I just ordered 2 plain cheese slices but some of the specialty pies they had out looked awesome. 2 slices and a Snapple were $5.85 very fair. This is by far the best pizza in the area. I can't comment on any other food they serve because I haven't had it. If you don't think this is the best pizza place in the area, you probably also think dominos is fine Italian dining. Since trying this place I haven't gotten pizza anywhere else because it's not worth it. The crust is thin and crispy the way pizza is intended to be. Pizza crust shouldn't be an inch thick, we're not in Chicago here. The sauce is good but doesn't taste artificial like half the pizza places in the area. read more

This review makes me sad to write because for years Brooklyn Pizza- as this place was called under previous ownership- was our go-to place. Best local pizza by far. Under new ownership it's taken a nosedive. The pizza we got last night was awful. Too thin (we didn't order thin crust but got it anyway). Seriously overcooked to the point that we had to throw out the leftovers because reheating them would have meant basically eating charcoal. So much oil it took multiple paper towels to sop it all up before it was edible. And then it just didn't taste good. It was just eh, like every other pizza place in the area. It's so sad because this place used to have GOOD pizza, not just edible pizza. Now it's just bland and disappointing like every other pizza shop. We have ordered probably 5-6 times since the change of ownership and each time it's been progressively worse than the last. Sad to say we will not order from here again. read more

Passing through town on a long road trip and had to have some pizza. A quick google and Yelp and we found this place. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners (two brothers) despite half of our party in pajamas (it was an early morning start to our long drive). Pizza was made fresh, kids got to watch, toppings were plentiful, and sauces were full of flavor. They threw garlic knots at the end- which were out of this world. Genuinely impressed! read more

This is the best pizza spot in town. Whenever you stop in here, the place is spotless and you can tell they are just cleaning constantly. The owner really takes pride in the restaurant and everything being consistently sanitized and clean. It makes me feel better to know that my food is being made in a clean environment. All of the workers are really nice and communicate well. We recently ordered an Everything pie for delivery and it was delicious! I felt like the price was a really good value for what we received. The toppings were plentiful and perfectly layered on the pizza and the crust was crispy and golden. The delivery is super quick from my personal experience and the food comes fresh and not destroyed and soggy like some other restaurants nearby. First let me start by saying Hands done the best pizza spot in town. So it's Friday and we are ordering lunch, like usual. I said hey let's order from Brooklyn Pizza Ktchen,so we do, something simple cheeseburger and a salad. Order gets delivered and it's messed up they sent Buffalo sauce as a dressing for the sounds of oil and vinegar. So I call and let them know hey you guys sent the wrong dressing for this out no biggie but it's not the first time you guys have messed up it's probably the fourth the fifth time they have messed up but you know the food's delicious so we look passed that. We order you know once a week from there about like 4 or 5 different orders from two different shifts at work so it's a couple hundred dollars a week we give them from ordering from work. One of the owners gets on the phone and then proceeds to tell me "IF WE ARE SUCH A PEOBLEM FOR YOU GUYS, THEN STOP ORDERING FROM US"!!!! How the hell as a business owner do you tell your customer that. I don't know about you guys but as of now myself and my fellow co-workers are done ordering from there. read more

Definitely the best local pizza we have tried since moving to the area. We don't order from any other places anymore since discovering this place. I will say we ordered today and it wasn't great, pizza was too thin, and a little tough as a result and had about 75% of the cheese it usually does. Sauce was still good and assuming this was a one off because usually it's very good. Maybe a new guy in the kitchen or something. Pepperoni roll was good. Also thinner than usual but not as noticeably as the pizza. Traded our usual broccoli roll for a broccoli calzone and won't make that mistake again. Entirely too much dough (also rolled too thin) and not enough "stuffing" to go with the excessive amount of too thin dough. Overall we love this place and really hope tonight's experience was a one off and not the new normal. read more

This review is long overdue. The first pie I had from BP&K was good. A, maybe, better than average NY/NJ slice. I liked it. But then I ordered the grandma pie. This is a truly great, in my top 10, pizza. The light crust, tasty sauce, garlic and just the right amount of cheese make for pizza Heaven. I like mine a little extra well-done and Benny always delivers. I've eaten there, picked up, had delivery, and used BP&K for a large party. Coming straight out of Brooklyn, this little pizza place is spot to go if you want some New York Styled Pizza. Pizza is the only thing I get here, because it is so damn good.
