So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken pizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'. read more

It's a solid 3.5 star joint. I appreciate the amount of cheese on the drunken grandma but the pie was undercooked cause it had so much cheese. Would have appreciated more seasoning and vodka sauce. Barely any sauce. The Churros were good. I would have preferred the chocolate sauce on the side to dip. Pretty pricey for the pie $35 and churros were $12. read more

Best eggplant in Wayne. The breading is perfect and fried to perfection. The cheese on the dinner Pargm is generous, however, the sauce is more on the sweet/citrus side. Portions sized are huge and reasonably priced. Customer service is great! read more

Stopped in for lunch. They have a very large selection of pizzas which are on display once you enter. Once we got to the counter the cashier took our order and put our slices in the oven. There is plenty of seating at the restaurant, which is nice. We sat at a booth to eat our pizza. It was a quick stop which is exactly what you expect a pizza shop to be. The pizza was good but I cannot say it was top 3 of the pizzas I have had. If I was in the area and needed to grab a bite I would stop in. However, I would not travel out of my way to get a slice. read more

Poor man's review. Over all, I like this place. The portion sizes are good and usually taste pretty good to exceptionally good. Salads have a decent amount of topping to them. All parm sandwiches (like eggplant, chicken, or meatball) are good. And they don't skimp on the cheese on any parm sandwich!!! Which a lot of places cut that corner to squeeze an extra small profit out of you. I am not saying they are the world's best but they really try to give you a good value/ portion for your buck. A pizza place with more options that you can image and not just on slices, you have rolls and sandwiches and garlic knots with chicken parm! I had a corner Sicilian slice, garlic knots and a pepperoni roll. Everything was very good. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side. The pepperoni roll has a nice kick to it. Regarding dessert you have a selection of various pies, tiramasu cheesecakes, Gelato and zepplois. I need to come back and try the zeppelin they can be stuffed and then gad tons of toppings They offer a full menu of dinners, pastas, soups and salads. The ambiance is a step above a typical pizza shop. BENCH seating lines the walls with these high top tables, by the window you have 2 tables for 4 people with soft fa ric chairs, the jazz music playing in the background provides a relaxation feeling. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the American Burger. Perfect! The meat was very good quality and lots of it. The toppings were fresh and delicious. It came with an absolute mountain of seasoned fries. One of the best burger and fries meal that I have gotten anywhere. The ambiance was very nice. Working far from home sometimes is hard to know where to go for good takeout. I'm 40ish mins away from home and I'm not familiar with the area. At my job not everyone gets take out or isn't as warm and fuzzy with new employees. I've only ordered delivery from here and their food is delicious!! I'm sorry I'm not able to tell you about the ambiance or service because it's usually delivered to my job. I tried a salad with chicken, and their Jay Kay chicken wrap. At work I cant always take pictures of what I eat because I'm soooo hungry I inhale it lol . But next time I order I will update and post pictures. Loved the portions! And totally worth it! The pizza was so good I didn't even take a picture. I almost opted not to write this because I don't have pictures. We had a bbq chicken slice and a Buffalo chicken slice and wow! They were so good. The Buffalo slice here was different than other places because it had celery pieces on it as well. I was hesitant but man those pieces gave the slice a delicious crunch. The first thing you see when entering Pizza One is a case FULL of variety after variety of pizza. While we came in with the intent of having a slice of pepperoni, our eyes were immediately drawn to the salad pizzas. I chose the chicken Caesar pizza. Calling it pizza is somewhat questionable though - it was on pizza crust, it was cut into a wedge but it only had cheese baked on - no sauce - not quite cheese bread/not quite pizza. The crust was loaded down with romaine, lots of shaved parm, Caesar dressing and a good amount of freshly grilled chicken. It was good, not something I'd order again - it just wasn't the best of both worlds. My dining partner had the eggplant salad pizza. The cheese crust was topped with copious amounts of fried eggplant, lettuce, onions, balsamic dressing and I'm not quite sure what else. She said it was really good but once again, it just wasn't the best of both worlds and she wouldn't order it again. The restaurant was quite busy but the line went quickly. There was a little seating for eat in but it looked like most orders were carry out. I'd like to come back and try their honest to goodness pizza - everything else in the case definitely looked worthy of a try. read more

When they first opened up in Wayne, their sicilian margherita (Ringwood's favorite) pie was phenomenal. After the renovation, their dough has changed and tastes slightly stale even when eaten right away. It seems like they changed the ingredients or recipe. We just had lunch at this brand new Pizza One in Wayne, it was fantastic! I had a salad pie slice, my husband had the Chicago style pepperoni, deep dish with crusty cheese around it - both were outstanding! My husband also had a slice of chicken Parmesan, which was also delicious. I had to take a salad slice home because we don't live very close to this restaurant. The staff were very friendly, the music was great. It was clean and brand new decor. I highly recommend Pizza One, we used to go to the one in Haskell all the time before we moved away from that area. Will definitely be back to this one! read more

Sorry, no eat in because of the coronavirus, they do not have an outdoor dining area, but they are open for pickup or take out. My wife was nice enough to pickup lunch today. The food was on point as always. She got the "Miami Beach" salad, it's her favorite. I got the "NY islanders" aka a Rueben sandwich, pastrami & Swiss w/cole slaw and thousand island. I'm not a fan of cole slaw, but for some reason if you put it on a pastrami sandwich, it works! Served with a pickle and chips. They have a great selection of salads and sandwiches, hot or cold including cheesesteaks and burgers. Paninis, wraps, Stromboli, calzone, appetizers, pasta, drinks, deserts and pizza. They have some of the best pizza around. Fresh, quality ingredients, put together with care. Every bite has the right combination of cheese and sauce. They have specialty pies, or chose your toppings including my favorites, soppressata & prosciutto. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They have a hand sanitizing station, everybody was wearing a mask and following social distancing guidelines. I'll be continuing to give them my business whenever I'm in the area and I strongly recommend you try them at as well for lunch or dinner. read more
