So for the last few months I've been conducting my own personal search for the best buffalo chicken pizza in Wayne and I think I found it ::insert fanfare!:: Ok so what's so good about it?? Unlike other spots in town Pizza One uses buffalo sauce as the base on the pizza, which is the only way go! Topped with mozz and buffalo chicken it's simple and so so good! Other places in town use a red sauce as their base which does not make sense to me. Another spot in town uses buff sauce but drowns their dough in it and that is just too much sauce, man. Pizza One has figured out the right sauce/cheese/chicken ratio. Their regular cheese pie is a winner too. They do a really nice thin but not too thin crust here which works for a plain pie but also is a nice base for loading up with the toppings too. I also have to talk about their garlic knots. Also the best that I've found in town (so far anyway..). They are big, fluffy and loaded with garlic. They are served w/ marinara but if you've got an extra buck I'd suggest you spring for the vodka sauce - it's sooooo good w/ the knots. No complaints re: service or wait times for pies. Pizza One is just a super solid spot in town to get food. Bonus -- if you order online they've always got some sort of deal going on - ie: a large cheese pie and 12 wings for $26 or 3 large pies for $42. We often order the pizza/wing combo (when I'm not insisting on ordering the aforementioned buffalo chicken pizza..) and when you compare to other spots you're saving at least $5 which is not nothin'.

Stopped in for lunch. They have a very large selection of pizzas which are on display once you enter. Once we got to the counter the cashier took our order and put our slices in the oven. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is plenty of seating at the restaurant, which is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat at a booth to eat our pizza. It was a quick stop which is exactly what you expect a pizza shop to be. The pizza was good but I cannot say it was top 3 of the pizzas I have had. If I was in the area and needed to grab a bite I would stop in. However, I would not travel out of my way to get a slice.

A pizza place with more options that you can image and not just on slices, you have rolls and sandwiches and garlic knots with chicken parm! I had a corner Sicilian slice, garlic knots and a pepperoni roll. Everything was very good. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side. The pepperoni roll has a nice kick to it. Regarding dessert you have a selection of various pies, tiramasu cheesecakes, Gelato and zepplois. I need to come back and try the zeppelin they can be stuffed and then gad tons of toppings They offer a full menu of dinners, pastas, soups and salads. The ambiance is a step above a typical pizza shop. BENCH seating lines the walls with these high top tables, by the window you have 2 tables for 4 people with soft fa ric chairs, the jazz music playing in the background provides a relaxation feeling. The service very friendly and welcoming . One of the owners used to work in Eastchester at another shop. Overall 5 stars and will be back to try a dinner!!

I ordered take out and I'm glad I did. The spinach artichoke pizza was a hit even with the kids. It was the perfect amount of toppings with the ricotta, spinach, artichoke and mozzarella. Will definitely be ordering again!

Plastic glove pieces buried in my salad.

The past year the Wayne location has been spiraling down hill with attitudes on the phone when taking orders, subbing out pecans with walnuts (like we are stupid and wouldn't notice) ridiculous prices and then tonight the final straw, a piece of a rubber glove buried in my salad. Im 99% sure I swallowed a piece of finger portion..see photos.

The worse meatball parm sandwich! What a soggy mess! Very why even called it sandwich. What a joke!

What arrived did not appear to have burrata on it, but instead looked like a different melted cheese. I called the restaurant and asked if they could replace the pizza. I was told a replacement was only available for pickup, and that I would have to place and pay for a new order if I wanted another pizza delivered. When I asked for a refund, I was told I needed to contact the third-party delivery provider because Dough does not process refunds for online delivery orders. I then contacted Toast, the platform used for the order, and was told they could not issue the refund and that I needed to contact the restaurant. I called Dough again, explained the situation, and offered to send a photo. I made it clear that I was not trying to get free food. I simply wanted the correct order. After being placed on hold, I was told that the melted cheese on the pizza was the burrata and that this was how they prepare it. I am including a photo because I have never seen burrata served this way on a pizza. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was incredibly disappointing. I was passed back and forth, offered no reasonable delivery replacement or refund, and ultimately told that the pizza was correct despite what was delivered.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

Hands down the BEST 00-Style Wood-Fired Pizza in New Jersey…read moreyou're anywhere near Fairfield, stop what you're doing and get to Double Zero Pizza. I'm honestly shocked this place isn't packed wall-to-wall every night -- this is the kind of pizza you expect to find in Naples . From the second you walk in, you know they take their craft seriously. Stacks of real wood, the authentic Pavesi Italian oven, and trays of perfectly risen dough balls -- it's the real deal. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just craftsmanship. I ordered two pies: White Pie with Mushrooms & Olives Incredible. The crust has that perfect leopard-spotted char, blistered just right, crispy on the outside but still soft and airy inside. The ricotta and mozzarella are super fresh, the mushrooms taste like they were sliced minutes before hitting the oven, and the olives add the perfect salty punch. Every bite tasted like it was straight out of a wood-fired pizza boutique. Classic Margherita One word: unreal. The sauce is bright and fresh, the cheese melts into little pools of heaven, and the basil actually survives the oven without turning bitter. Balanced, clean, and addictive. The crust is truly the star -- you can tell they use high-quality "00" flour and slow fermentation. Light, airy, not heavy at all. The kind of crust you want to eat all of, even the charred ends. The owner Mike clearly cares about every detail -- from the dough to the toppings to the oven temperature. This isn't "pizza shop pizza," this is artisanal, handcrafted, authentic wood-fired pizza done right. Prices are super fair for this quality. Cash-only but totally worth it. If you love real Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, put this place on your list immediately. Easily one of the best pies I've had in NJ -- maybe the best. I'll definitely be back .
