Excellent day! My group of 5 was paired with another…read moresimilarly sized group for a 2-hour zipline adventure. There were 5 or 6 lines ranging in length from about 50 feet to 700 feet. The 700 foot line is awesome. In between there is a high-ropes "intermission" when you can choose between some "broken bridges" or a net obstacle and tightripe. After that my group did a Tree Climb which is a physically demanding challenge to get up very high trees, swing from ropes, etc. Unlike the zipline which is just fun adrenaline, the tree climb requires some real exertion and I would not recommend it for those who are afraid of heights or who are not physically active on a regular basis. The guides for the adventure were all great. They were encouraging, made us feel safe, and made an effort to learn our names. It was a great experience all around and I would recommend this as an activity for anyone.

Make sure you come here with clothes and sneakers to wear in the woods if you partake in the entire experience. So first we did the ziplining and it was great - we zipped through about 6 lines of varying lengths and a couple of them had obstacles like a broken bridge or a tight-rope walk. Then we did the treeclimb. One entailed swinging from tree to tree until you got to the top, and the other one was to climb a very old, very large tree. The third thing we did was the scavenger hunt, which was great because we traveled through the entire premises to get clues to each station to accrue points and ultimately defeat our adversaries. lol The service and friendliness of the staff was top notch. They made us feel pretty comfortable and were having a good time along with us as well as guiding us through a fun, safe experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for adventure and a good time with a group of friends.

This is a nice hotel for the price and perfect for a staycation in the Springfield, MA area…read more We got a queen suite that had a stove, full sized fridge, dishwasher and sofa bed in addition to normal hotel room stuff. The free breakfast is meh quality but hey, it's nice to have someone else cook for you regardless. There's a pool too that my kiddo enjoyed. The hotel is 2 minutes from Holyoke mall that includes a Target. We got a frozen skillet meal from Target to make for dinner our first night there. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Edited to add: As of August 2022 the staff was not masking, nor were masks required in any area of the hotel. The guests were mixed on masking. Many with N95 masks and taking breakfast to go to eat in their rooms mixed with guests not masking or distancing.

I had a serious unresolved booking problem there for my intended stay August 9-12, 2024. At check-in I was told, in sequence, "4 rooms left," then "2 rooms left," and finally "no rooms left" for any part of my intended stay. The sequence of having been told 4, then 2, then no rooms left was especially frustrating and seemed to me retaliatory for my mild expression of dismay, consternation, and frustration. My daughters and I arrived late from Logan Airport due to Debby weather, delayed rental car, and rain on the turnpike. We were attending my parents' funeral on the 10th. I understand that all people aren't going to be best friends; however, this night manager showed zero empathy. And worse, with the cockamamie room "countdown," I felt the manager exhibited personal animus. We stayed at an alternative--a nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott--which we booked ourselves. Even so, on August 12, I received from Homewood Suites by Hilton an invoice and a paid receipt for all nights of the stay, August 9, 10, and 11. The only time spent at Homewood Suites by Hilton was in the lobby at 4 a.m. with the vindictive night manager counting down "4 rooms left," then "2 rooms left," and finally "no rooms left."

Came here for a one night stay for our first great lodge experience…read more First, parking costs $20, except this resort is in the middle of nowhere. Its as egregious as Hyatt Regency lost pines having 405 acres of land and nature trails and then charging for parking (and a lot of times the lots are full and you have to circle for parking!) The resort itself is located outside Fitchburg, fairly convenient hour drive from Boston and a decent amount of stuff to do (some museums, farms, etc.). Also good amount of dining options in case you dont want to eat at the lodge (texas roadhouse family meals are the GOAT). The resort is huge as you would expect, though not apparent from the lobby. Self check in systems work well, if a bit slow. Another issue here - you dont know when your room will be ready, and you cant bring your luggage in while waiting. They dont have anywhere to store luggage (which seems absolutely crazy for a hotel). At least the staff will try to work with you but if rooms arent ready then you're out of luck. The rooms we got were overlooking the lobby. They were clean, and moderately appointed with sitting areas and tables for most normal families. However, another issue here is the lobby hosts many events throughout the night and day and you can hear everything in the room. Good luck trying to have a kid nap. Waterpark was enjoyable, slides are fun and highly recommended. Magicquest surprisingly fun for kids and also worth the money, especially if you can borrow a friend's wand. Also a whole section of ropes course, other games, VR, etc. Would probably come back on a special deal again, but definitely room for improvement.

We came during ct spring break versus going to Foxwoods (which cost more that week). It's always…read morebusy at great wolf lodge but this is the first time where it wasn't as packed. It was enough for my 5 year old boy to enjoy and not have to worry about people running him over. We got to enjoy this place and they do a great job entertaining the kids at night. We will be back !
