We came during ct spring break versus going to Foxwoods (which cost more that week). It's always busy at great wolf lodge but this is the first time where it wasn't as packed. It was enough for my 5 year old boy to enjoy and not have to worry about people running him over. We got to enjoy this place and they do a great job entertaining the kids at night. If I could give zero I would. I was really disappointed with my experience at Great Wolf Lodge. For the amount of money you pay, you would expect things to run much smoother. First off, charging $20 for parking is already frustrating--but what makes it worse is that they don't even check or monitor vehicles after charging you. It feels like an unnecessary fee with no real purpose. Then there's the water park. At around $100 per person, you'd expect a comfortable and enjoyable experience, but instead it was extremely overcrowded. It was hard to actually enjoy anything because of how packed everything was. The food is another issue--very overpriced for what you get. You end up spending way more than expected just to feed your family. One of the worst parts was the check-in process for the water park. We waited about 30 minutes just to get wristbands. That's unacceptable, especially when you've already paid so much. There should absolutely be a better system in place--like separate lines for hotel guests and day pass visitors to make things move faster. Overall, the experience did not match the price at all. Between the extra fees, long waits, and overcrowding, I don't think I will be going there again. read more

Money grab, not an ounce of customer service or appreciation. We stopped in for the evening to spend money as individuals participating in day guest activities. We spent well over $100 in our 90 min visit. the lodge would not even consider validating our $20 overnight parking fee. We did the same visit last week and had no fee/red gate. The disregard for value and brick wall put up by desk agents is a non starter for any future visit. Cheap money grab $$$$ Here's a tip, we PAID the fee, but the gate just opened anyways, so they LIED to us, knowing it was a false fee. FILTHY. First off let me say the staff was EXCELLENT. always smiling, ready to help and truly cared about your experience... I know waterparks can be packed and not the cleanest. BUT. after the water park my 5 yr old and I went to the women's bathroom to use the showers.. the first stall had clumps of black hair all over the floor.. we went to another stall. My son asks "mommy, what's that all Over the ceiling and walls" I looked up and it was TONS OF GNATS!! Flying Everywhere. We freaked out.. Clearly NO ONE does bathroom checks.. we go back to our room to shower. There were short black hairs all along the base of the tub that were NOT mine. When we go to bed, there was a sticky stain on the sheets like sap. I couldn't get it off ... thankfully we had another bed in the room.. the Maid cleaned it once notified but, that room should have been cleaned BEFORE we arrived. For what they charge they should be ashamed with how their waterpark showers are and u clean rooms.. GROSS. won't be back. I'd give it a ZERO if I could. SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Will your kids have a great time? Most likely. Will you be out of a lot of money, patience, and sleep, most likely. Children's casino, land cruise, if a water park and chuckie cheese had a child. Take your pick. Water park is a decent size 3-15 kids will enjoy this place. Lots to do, very loud, lots of games to suck down your dollars. Hard to review it all but here is a breakdown: Hotel: Booked a cabin suite with bunk beds. Huge room but tiny bed. Inside joke we call queens that are smaller a Boston queen since hotels in Boston love to pull this trick. Again tons of room but not enough furniture . Kids loved the idea of bunk beds but in practice couldn't and wouldn't sleep in them. The rooms are also right in the area in which rock climbing/ropes course, mini golf, and an arcade is at. The quiet hours when they shut it all down don't start till 11 pm. Jesus that's late. Not a fan. Also parking costs 19 dollars a day. (Wtf) Water park is great. There are two sides. So if you want to try different things you need to pick your crap up and move. Lots of chairs but I can see how it would get super busy during school vacation weeks and or winter. They provide towels but they do require you to check them out. Don't return it and you get charged. Two brides you can do with groups. One ride to a drops out from under you. One body slide ride (if you have back hair get ready for that to be ripped out). And a couple of water tube slides. Hot tub area that is both indoor and outdoor nice) but will fill up with people quickly. Lazy River that's pretty small and a kid splash area with kids slide and that water bucket. Decent wave pool and then another little kid slides and play area. Overall enough to do for a day or two. Food: decent but nothing amazing. Italian food buffet was solid enough, especially for kids. (Plus I thought the buffet was dead from covid). Burgers/food in the water park are mid. And the fact that your cups have QR scanner and will only work with up to a certain amount. Staff: pretty great. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy and care. I do have to say was impressed with that. It was an experience. Expensive, loud, overwhelming. But the kids had fun. read more

We recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and overall had a really fun experience! It's a great spot for a quick getaway without having to travel far. The indoor water park is definitely the highlight -- clean, well-maintained, and with plenty to do for both kids and adults. The lazy river and water slides kept everyone entertained for hours, and the lifeguards were attentive and professional. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for our group. They're not luxury-level, but they were clean and fit the fun, family-friendly theme of the resort. The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is mostly the logistics and extras. Check-in lines were extremely long, and the self check-in kiosks weren't working, which made the wait even more frustrating. At checkout, around 10:30am we decided we wanted to purchase late checkout (until 2pm for $60). I tried calling from the hotel phone but no one answered, and the front desk line was about 30 minutes long just to ask a simple question. There should really be a quicker system for small add-ons like that. Food options on-site weren't great in our opinion -- limited choices and its buffet style. I'd honestly recommend eating offsite if you can. One thing I don't recommend is the arcade. It felt like a huge scam. $20 lasted maybe 3 minutes. I spent $70 in less than 20 mins. The games are very overpriced, and several machines either didn't work properly or took credits without working. That was definitely disappointing. Overall, it's still a fun and easy getaway, especially for families with kids. If they improve the front desk process, food options, and arcade experience, it would easily be a 5-star stay. Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park, currently at 20 locations. It was founded in 1997 and was called Black Wolf Lodge. The indoor water park is 50,000 square feet and the temperature year round is kept at 84 degrees. Parking was spacious. We went during the fall so the temperature outside was chilly. We stayed there for a night. Days passes are offered. The rooms were standard hotel rooms. There's a towel attendant. The indoor water park was large and fun. Theres a wading pool and a bunch of slides and playscapes. I really enjoyed the wave pool. There were tables around the perimeter. They kept the pool area warm but as a Floridian, I still felt chilly. The hallway out to the arcade area was super cold. There was a climbing playscape. For food, there were restaurants and a Dunkin. Overall, a fun place if you have little ones. read more

We were excited to check in early and take advantage of the water park, and to our surprise, our room was already ready when we arrived. That was a great start to the stay. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. While helping the kids get ready, we found both pubic hair and regular hair on the bathroom floor--definitely not something you expect when checking into a room. I spoke to a maid in the hallway, and she said she would take care of it while we were at the water park. After several hours, we returned only to find the hair still there, even after another interaction where it seemed like the issue had been addressed. I understand that no room is ever going to be 100% perfect, but something as basic as cleanliness--especially something this noticeable--should absolutely be taken care of. Beyond that, the room itself felt like it could use some updating. For the price you're paying to stay here, you expect a certain level of quality and attention to detail. One more frustration was the additional charge for parking. Paying $20 a day on top of an already expensive stay feels excessive. At a lodge or resort like this, parking really should be included. There's been a steep decline in service since we started coming here 3 years ago. The staff attitude is worse. Our door lock stopped accepting key access and it has been 4 hours since the maintenance request was sent at the time of writing this. Still no one has come. There is also no time limit on pools and the hot tub. If a family decides to pack in the hot tub, they can stay there all day. Some people are ok with being packed in like sardines I guess. The park also opens late just because. So there's a crowd like it's Black Friday waiting. Overall, lazy, inattentive staff and we are here memorial weekend. To start - I booked Friday to Sunday for my grandsons birthday. I let them know had to come late check in thru text. Ps best way to contact them. Anyhow at arrival all doors after 10pm are locked so you do need to get let in. When I entered check in services rep (cannot recall name ) was pleasant. Noise in main entrance had older teenagers running around causing chaos. No parents or hotel staff that I could see. The water parks main pool section was down due to construction, it does not tell you that at booking online. I heard other guests got compensated but we did not. Not even a sorry as we had booked my grandsons birthday there. Glad we did not buy more day passes when we arrived. Drinks at lodge grill - bar near reception desk were actually good. There food I wish I had gone to instead just looked like pub food but anything would've been better then buffet. Food- The hotels buffet restaurant was awful more like a 1 star and I paid $27 + drinks for party of 7. I think the meat and turkey came out of a can and had absolutely no flavor. The mashed potatoes and rice were frozen cold - having just come out. We asked if things would get replenished and they said soon as almost everything else was out. The worst experience Ive had in a long time. W also were charged for not returning towels when we did, not sure what is going on with this park- hotel. There is zero parking and I even paid but know most dont so here are the honest ones that cannot leave as then no parking to be found. We could not find seats or space to sing Happy Birthday nor in pool for kids. About 1k spent total on a awful weekend. Nothing to brag about and I sure will not recommend or return. read more

We recently spent the weekend here, as a few friends with no children. You can definitely tell that it is a more children oriented environment, and they do a lot of fun events for kids! Pros: -All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. -Can get decent deals on the rooms when using coupons! (Would definitely recommend) -Water park access is included in the price of the room and you can utilize the water park at any time during, before and after your stay on your dates booked. -arcade is open 24/7 Cons: -the pizza here is TERRIBLE, thankfully we got it for free in the birthday package. -food is INCREDIBLY over priced, I didn't get the dining credits but I would recommend this especially for larger groups. -fridge in our room didn't work very well, and was lukewarm at best -beds were stiff, and air conditioner barely worked making for a rough nights sleep. -line to the elevators will almost always take you 10-15 minutes to get where you're going. I would definitely recommend coming here in the off season, or on a weekday, so you can actually enjoy all this place has to offer, weekends are extremely packed! read more

First, the good: Had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner buffet that was very well coordinated, particularly given how full the lodge was. I have a dairy allergy they kindly accommodated and would go back just for dinner in the future. Staff throughout the lodge were very friendly and it was a family-focused feel-good place. My son really likes the toy he scored after spending $75 at the arcade (stuffed pineapple worth around $5). I'm grateful they had a good prize he actually liked available. Both my boys liked the water slides and wave pool. So smart to have a snack bar and bar in the swimming area for hungry kids and thirsty parents. Needs improvement: There was at least one broken elevator at all times and so we used the stairs 90% of the time because waits for the elevator were long. Our room was located with a view of the central lobby/fireplace which is an AWFUL location. We heard all of the Great Wolf music in our room at full volume, including up until like 9:30 or 10 at night when we wanted to relax and were trying to sleep. Our family has visited before and the place is starting to look more rundown. They were renovating when we visited, so I suspect they'll be replacing the carpet soon. They would benefit from enhancing the mini golf course. Our family dropped $1000 in two days. In retrospect, we decided it will be our last year visiting as my boys are now 13 and 14.5. This was my first time visiting. Wow, a lot to see and do! We had an overnight and were very happy with the room except the bed. The bed was awful uncomfortable for all of us, 3 people. Otherwise loved that a small refrigerator was included. Plenty of towels, clean room and great water pressure in the shower. Any people that I chatted with that worked there were very nice and helpful. I personally do not like this "cashless" society we are becoming and found that annoying. But really our stay was nice. Pools were clean, plentiful attention from workers. We stayed on a Tuesday/Wednesday and according to my daughter who's stayed before, THAT is the way to go. Keep that in mind. read more

Hundreds of reviews have already been posted on Yelp, and the other reviewers got this one right. It is a pretty solid 3 *. I'll provide the rationale: Pros: + If you have a child, it is likely that they have asked you to go to Great Wolf Lodge. If this hasn't happened yet, just wait until they meet a friend who has gone to Great Wolf Lodge before. If your kids like waterparks (and which kid doesn't), they'll enjoy their time there. + The staff are super friendly. Didn't have a single bad interaction with a staff member across the entire place on the 3 days we were there. From check-in, to lifeguards, to the cleaning team. Everybody was pleasant and helpful. Cons: - It's expensive. I've seen rates up to $500/night for a basic room during peak season. This relates to the next point... - It's a very basic hotel. As you can see from my picture, it is showing its age. The owners have not invested in a much needed refurbishment of the property, and things are what you would expect them to be if thousands of families with kids have previously used the room. - Don't count on doing any work while you're there. If you want to sneak off to hop on a Zoom call, you will find the WiFi coverage to be spotty, and inconsistent. - The GWL in Fitchburg now charges for parking. It's a dogshit corporate, squeeze every dollar out of the customer, approach. In addition to a useless "Resort Fee" ($34.99 daily), they now will make you pay to park because you have no choice. My recommendation: go for one night. You're allowed to go to the waterpark (and all of the other activities) on the day of check in. So go early in the day on the day of check in, and you essentially get 1.5 days of GWL for the price of 1 night. Much more than that is a headache waiting to happen. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked this place. It's loud and crowded, as you would expect from a hotel aimed at children and that's fine. The problem is that everything costs soooo much money. I just stayed for 2 nights for 2 adults and 1 child and so far it's cost me over $1200. No itemized bill, though. I bought a bottle of water and it costs $8. It's like being at a concert or game. Also, half the restaurants were closed and repairs were going on all day. Not many games and most of them were grab games. My room was tired looking with a beautiful view of the garbage dump. You can't get a real human on the phone when you try calling. Got kicked out of the only place with tables because they were for the tiny pizza place, even though they were closed. Lots of different water features, but they were all small. Lots of fun stuff for kids to do, but not worth all the money read more

This place is such a racket. Rooms need updating. Our TV was broken (pixels discolored). The furniture is beat on. The water park is dirty (hair ties and layers of dust cover the exposed ventilation). And they nickel and dime you for everything. Hot tub was 99°F at best. The wave pool was warmer. A much better experience than I had anticipated! With a hotel that is 12 years old and still in good condition considering the number of families using the facility daily says a lot about the staff & maintenance. Pools were clean and had well trained lifeguards. Windows kept cleaned. Pizza was very good with delicious sauce, cheesy & soft dough. Cold beers. Cabana rentals for extra comfort. Fun water parks for young & older kids (Age 60+). Amazing place for kids and so much to do to keep them busy. We have two grandchildren age (1) & (3) and they had the best time! Soooooo... I've read all the reviews for the Fitchburg location. I wasn't going to stay at the resort based off of the reviews but I spoke to a co-worker who recently took her daughters and she recommended to stay on site...so, we did. I am glad we did. I consider myself to be a stickler when it comes to hotels, reviews and customer service. I did listen to everyone about the food...read on for that... Prior to our arrival, I downloaded the app, received a check in email and it was really simply. I received our QR code and was advised to go to the kiosk on arrival. I did. As we were at the kiosk, a rep came over and assisted with our pup passes for the kids and advised us how we get to our room. I booked the Wolf's Den, although the entire resort is connected, I should've entered the Timbers location. She gave directions and we were off to our room. The rooms: yes, it could take some renovations but I didn't think it was that bad as the hotel has a rustic feel to it. One of our table chairs should have been replaced as the leather was peeled but again I didn't mind. Based off of the reviews, I was expecting worse. The kids absolutely loved their bunk beds. The queen size bed was quite comfortable and I had no complaints to comfort. We stayed Friday to Sunday. Our first night around 10:30pm, after getting the kids settled and in bed, a loud birthday celebration started next door to our room. It didn't disturb the kids so I said to I myself I was going to give them until midnight and then see how tired I was. But it ended sooner than midnight. The food: based off of the reviews, I didn't include any of the meal plans/credits and I don't recommend you do. I brought a ton of snacks and drinks for the kids. For dinner that night, the kids had a cooked meal that was prepared earlier in the day. We used the microwave to warm it up. Majority of everyone had their own food, where it was snacks, sandwiches, etc. Such a money saver. The next day, I used the app to order Dunkin's. The previous reviews stated the line is always long. I ordered off the app and received a text when my order was ready. Saturday night we drive to Shake n Dog (wrote a review about them as well). The kids enjoyed themselves. Quite expensive but I'll rather pay money for good food, than food that sucks. Waterpark: it was great for the kids. I thought the water was really cold and heard others say the same. On Saturday, I reserved a cabana. I didn't want to rush to the waterpark to find seating. I wanted us to be comfortable and relax when we wanted and I'm glad we did. Again it was expensive but what I realized....the sooner you book it, the cheaper it is. After I booked it, the price increased as the date got closer. Kid activities: More than enough. The resort provides a paper schedule and the app has it as well. On the app, you can set a reminder. The kids really enjoyed the 8:15pm dance party. They went both nights and danced away. The resort purposely sells bubble wands and I was going to get some as well until I heard how much they cost --------- $29.74!!!! FOR ONE! Absolutely not. That's more than Disney on Ice. Resort Temperature: bring a fleece or sweater. The place is an ice box. I was always cold. Pup Pass: was great. The first night (Friday) we did ice cream and arcade. That $5 in the arcade will last two second so beware. I added more money to their card. The next day they did Build A Bear - which is really a wolf but it was still really cute and they enjoyed it. Clothing not included and didn't think it was too expensive. I was expecting more than $15 an outfit. You receive a discount as well with the pass. Sunday before leaving the kids went to the candy store. They picked out their candy and just like that...a month long planned trip was over. I would definitely recommend you stay on resort, bring your own food/eat out and get a cabana (if you're going at a high peak time). I didn't do anything extra as they stayed in the water majority of the time. Oh, there's an option to extend you checkout time to 2pm for $69.99. We didn't. We celebrated my son's 13th birthday at Great Wolf Lodge this weekend, and let me tell you, this was not some thrown together, last minute event. No, this was a planned celbration, months in the making. He got to bring a freind, and it came at the perfect time because, well, 2025 had been coming in hot with challenges. Of course, planning was key. Bathing suits were tried on days in advnace, snacks and drinks were procured like we were preping for a cross country road trip, and the legendary Konditor Meister cake was picked up. Cake knife? Packed. Wolf ears? Accounted for. I even remembred my waterproof phone case, the one I had not used since July (impressing myself), which meant I was ready. Since there were seven of us, we split into two cars for the 90 minute jorney to Fitchburg. The ride was smooth, fueled by snacks, drinks, and whatever music the kids deemed aceptable. Spirits were high as we rolled up to the lodge, and the boys were so ready for the water park that they probably would have changed in the parking lot if given the chance. Everyone grabbed their bags. My husband, had the snacks, I had the cake, and the kids had their overnight stuff. It was go time. Except for one small problem. One person did not have their bag. One person had absolutely nothing. That person... was me. Cue the immediate wave of panic. I told myself, "Calm down, it is fine. Your bag must be in the other car." So, with confidence, I turned to my husband and asked, "Hey, my bag is in your truck, right?" He gave me a look that was equal parts confusion and concern. Then, he checked. And much like a baseball stadium in Decmeber... it was completly empty. My heart sank. There was no time to run to a store. Michael was itching to start his birthday adventure. So, I had no choice but to accept my fate: I was officially bagless. But just when I had resigned myself to wearing the same clothes for two days, I rememered the water park sold bathing suits, and I could at least enjoy the over chlorinated water. Off I went while the kids charged toward the slides. The selection was, well, not vast and wildly overpriced, but the customer service hero at the counter saw my distress. She helped me find the most affordable (and least tragic) swimsuit avilable, and just like that, I was back in action. After conquering the water slides and riding the wave of birthday excitement, we sat down for an amazing meal. Chris's Celiac needs? Easily accommodated. The rest of us? Living our best buffet life with our bellies busting. With the kids full and finally exhausted, Chris and I took a moment to recharge. That is when our waitress, clearly possessing a sixth sense for weary parents, checked in on us. I took the opportunity to mention my next crisis. No toothbrush. Without hesitation, she told me to hold on. Moments later, she was back in a flash, not only with a toothbrush and toothpaste but also with news. Becky had informed, Mary the store manager of my ongoing drama. And in a truly cinematic moment, Mary sent me in Richard Gere style in pretty women, telling me to pick out an outfit so I would not have to sleep in (and, let's be real, marinate in) my chlorine-scented clothes. The customer service? 10 out of 10. My faith in humanity? Restored, one forgotten bag, one swimsuit, and Pretty Woman moment at a time. We stayed at the GWL In PA so it was our first time trying out this MA location. The staff here is AMAZING. There is a lady at front desk named Mercedes. She is the nicest lady. Pros for this location vs PA 1. The magi quest area is separate from where the guests sleeps so if you want to go to bed early kids aren't running around the hallways loud and keeping you awake. 2. The rope course here just seems bigger to me 3. I don't recall PA having a rock climbing but this one in MA does have rock climbing so in between the ropes & rock climbing area the 18 yr old and 16 yr old were not bored. 4. This area has a big mini golf area and virtual games arena 5. Because this location accommodates less guests the lines for the water slides were never more than 10 mins long. We would wait at Disney for hours so I can do a few mins Cons 1. Don't count on getting coffee at Dunkin. The lines just never end 2. The food on site is quite expensive and does not taste good at all. 3. There is an adventure pass for older kids for $49.99 that's better value than $89.99 wolf pass Things not to do: 1. Don't buy any drinks . For the cost there is little to no alcohol in it at all. I get they don't want people to run around getting drunk. But find another way to do it. Charging for a drink then I expect a proper drink not the fruit punch I got 2. Don't buy any of the "virgin" drinks for the kids. We bought the kids drinks and there was more ice than drink. They all complained 3. We PAID to use the arcade and tried the King Kong virtual game. The game was programmed for us to fight sideways yet the staff came and reprimanded us .... While we have the VR headset on saying to be careful and point in a different direction??? Move the game or reprogram it. 4. Don't eat at the restaurant. The wait time to get a table is more than 1 hour. And the food came more than 1 hour later and all the steaks were over cooked and dry, even the burger. The wait time was sad and the overcooked food even sadder. MUST DO: Walk with breakfast and save $18 pp Walk with a few cases of water and soda for the park Walk with cold cuts & bread to make sandwiches for lunch and save $16-$20 pp at the lunch place DEFINITELY bring your SMALL air fryer from home to reheat left over fries Walk with a foldable percolator if you don't drink coffee. This was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had. From the very first day, the moment we entered the room, the floor was sticky and impossible to walk on, and the room had a terrible smell. We had to ask several times for someone to come clean the floor just so we could move around, and we sprayed a lot of air freshener ourselves to try to cover the awful odor that filled the room. For four days we begged for our room to be cleaned. The trash cans were overflowing, with no place left to throw garbage. The room became filthy because of the kids, and everything started to smell. We repeatedly asked, several times a day, for someone to empty the bins, cleanthe room, and so on -- but nothing happened. There isn't even a toilet brush in the room, so we had to go out and buy one ourselves just to be able to clean the bathroom after the kids used it. At this point, we don't even mind reusing old towels, but there's literally nowhere in the room to hang them when they're wet. It is simply impossible to stay in the room anymore. We've been forced to buy our own cleaning supplies, carry the trash bags through the hotel and empty them ourselves, and essentially act as the housekeeping staff -- constantly dealing with it throughout the day because the hotel doesn't provide the service. We expected more rides/water slides for the price we paid but it had more options for younger kids that my kids would've enjoyed if they were smaller. The lines weren't bad when they first open but can get pretty long throughout the day. There was also some confusion on where the lines began and some ppl would try to cut if you weren't paying attention. I condone the cleanliness except for the bathrooms near the wave pool. Those were disgusting & should've been more well kept but the rest of the hotel was pretty clean & sanitized for the most part. There were alot of activities to do but you had to pay for EVERYTHING. The only thing free was the family photo we got w/wolf ears which I thought was a really great feature The staff member who checked us in highly recommended an adventure pass which ended up being worth the money & kept us entertained when the kids became sick of the same few water slides. It included miniature golf, a free round of VR, rock climbing,& the rope adventure obstacle course. It also included a discount for the Magiquest which my younger son absolutely loved doing but to get a wand, expect to still be paying over $30. We also were supposed to get a discount on the arcade BUT be sure to ask the staff about it in order to recieve that discount, otherwise you will pay full price like we did. No one told us that and when I tried to get it corrected once we finally did realize it, they wanted to just give us more points instead of a refund, which by that point we were done & ready to go home. There were other significant issues as well. We decided to splurge on a cabana which was $300 for the entire day. It included a server which was great, a place to keep all our stuff w/ lounge chairs, free waters & towels. I thought it would be great, However, we got a cabana that was closed the day before and it wasn't until we got in it and settled that we realized why... first of all one of the seat cushions to the couch had really gross stains all over it! Definitely didn't look like it had been cleaned. When we brought it up to a supervisor her response was to flip the cushion over. For what we were paying that response was totally unacceptable! That is something that should've been noticed before it was rented to us & was clearly noticeable. Then the TV didn't work properly so it took 4 hours of my husband waiting for supervisors, maintenance crew & tech managers to figure out that we had been given the wrong clicker for it. Total waste of my husband's time when he could've been enjoying the rides with us. By the time it was all figured out & corrected my kids were spent and my husband had missed out w/ us. Also, do not eat the food there! Order outside of the park and bring it in. Me and my 2 kids all ended up with stomach aches & in the bathroom by the next morning. The only reason we think it was definitely due to the food was because my husband was the only one who didn't eat it &didn't have any stomach issues. I also think the prices for food there were extremely high especially for the quality but i had gotten a $200 food voucher prior to our arrival knowing i had a 16 year old boy to feed and in which only covered a couple meals. Super disappointed for what we paid and how we were treated when we complained about the issues. We've stayed at alot of places & for what we paid for a 2 night/3 day stay was just a bit ridiculous. Just expect to spend alot of money during your stay. We won't be back to Great Wolf Lodge location! UPDATE: I contacted customer service as requested in the response to this review and it was a complete waste of time. They did nothing to rectify the experience my family and I had what so ever. Not only that but they were extremely rude and after a couple emails, numerous attempts to discuss the situation,& also talking to different representatives they would just do nothing but waste my time, close my case and further validate that I'll never recommend this place to another friend or family member. For the price you pay you should at least get a clean room. We came to room at checkin but then went right to water park. Well when it was time for showers and bed I am disgusted. The tub is full of pubic hairs and the beds are full of hair as well. Disgusting. I tried calling front desk and NO ONE would answer Do not come here. Go to cape codder. Much cleaner read more

We stayed right after NYE and most of the big prizes were gone by the time, we were leaving the resort and were ready to cash in our credits. Fun winter excursion with the kids. I recommend 2 days, 1 night. Note: Half the children's section of the waterpark is closed for construction for at least the Dec 24 - Feb 25 timeframe. I did not know this when I booked our rooms. The staff is excellent and will resolve any issue - whether the ice cream server, the pool area bartender, the front desk or the maids. Older kids will want to do rock climbing and ropes after they're bored with water rides. That is extra. Young kids (under 12) will be happy at the waterpark for 2 days solid. Skip the restaurant in the waterpark itself (45 min to get a sandwich seemed normal) and opt for the Dunkin for breakfast or lunch and the pizza for dinner. Small children will enjoy the animatronics and waterpark. Moms will like the 84-85 degree air temp in the lazy river park and the family friendly environment read more

We had a great day at the Water Park!! On another note, Ariana who worked on the Buckets take away was less than satisfactory!! She has no people skills and probably shouldn't be working at an establishment for the general public. She threw a food tray at me because she didn't want to give me one since I only ordered one chicken tender meal which also comes with a drink that you have to fill yourself. Have I mentioned that I have a cast on my broken wrist and it wasn't until I mentioned that that she (visibly annoyed) grabbed the tray and threw it onto the counter at me. This Ariana surely has some anger issues. GWL might want to have an intervention with her as she doesn't seem to be cut out to work with the general public. I probably would've given a 3 star had it not been for this Ariana. read more

We took our soon to be 11 year old for a birthday stay for two nights and had a awesome time, the water park had a little bit of everything for different age groups, and the thrill rides were top notch. The room was nice and the food was really good...we figured we would want to leave to get food somewhere else but ended up never leaving the resort. There is also tons of other activities for the kids to do that is not water park related. Aside from alcohol being offered this is a very kids/family oriented resort...so expect a lot of young kids, yelling, laughing, crying, running..ect..this place was busy on a week day..but still plenty of room to enjoy everything, there is also a full dunkin donuts on site as well as a breakfast buffet available that was reasonably priced. read more

Took my grandkids here for a day of fun. My sister came along to help me watch them. I have no complaints with what they charge for the kids and water park. I do think that 2 old ladies, fully dressed shouldn't have to pay $50 each to keep an eye on them. Every chance they get this place sucks money out of you. Why not charge $15 or $20 to keep an eye on them?? Also after being robbed $50 each to sit there, they add on $19 to park your car!! Really!! There were at least 150 open spots in the lot!! When I complained I was told it was a corporate decision. Cop out!! Also twice they had to close the wave pool to dig out poop. One of the times it was closed 40 minutes. We should have all gotten money back because over an hour was lost. Would I go back? No. I don't like being nickled and dimed to death. This place is great for what it is, a "resort" catering to families with young children. This is not a 5 or 4 star experience, but it's fine. The room price was average and includes access to the water park. They have a good selection of free activities for families who don't want to do the paid ones like the magic quest or arcade. Free activities include story times, dance parties, arts and crafts, balloon animals, character meets. The water park is definitely the main attraction but the arcade is really fun too with games both kids and adults will enjoy. Go to the water park in the afternoon/evening to avoid the crowds. Mornings are best for the arcade/mini golf and other activities. I suggest buying snacks and drinks at a supermarket to stock the mini fridge if you can, water is pretty pricey. There are enough meal options for those who don't want to leave the hotel. The lodge grill is misleading if you look online it's not clear, but it's a buffet and serves breakfast and dinner. The food is ok at best, definitely reminiscent of an old country buffet or Golden Corral. We didn't realize what it was when we had dinner there the first night. The better option in terms of value, portions and taste is the lodge bar. The wedge salad was really great and so was the burger. It's always busy, but you can get the food to go and eat in your room. Most people seemed to get pizza but if you're there for a couple days, there's only so many times you can eat pizza. There are plenty of restaurants close by. My biggest complaint is the elevator traffic, there aren't enough elevators for the number of guests. This was a common complaint amongst the guests. You'll have to wait your "turn" and be prepared for people to just cut in front of you and ignore common courtesy. This is a nice option for a weekend getaway only 50 minutes away from Boston. Gave me an awful room overlooking the lobby. Kids were very loudly playing until quiet hours at 11 pm. Service offered no help and refused to stop kids from playing soccer with a beach ball in the lobby. They offered no helpful suggestions and instead tried to make me look like the bad guy for wanting a quiet room and wanting my kids to sleep. Front desk worker was especially awful, manager at least pretended to care but still didn't help. Ruined the whole experience. read more

Big fans! My four year old loves it here and I'm glad it's close enough for us to go and stay for a night whenever we can. I like how there are two different water rooms filled with things for all ages. There's also some indoor stuff and an arcade that cost extra. We get the buffet for dinner and breakfast, and I think the food is good. I like all the choices and my kid gets Mac and cheese. Lots of desserts! The rooms are good. No complains. This is a fun place if you need a quick getaway that is close! read more

I ordered a package as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. $600 for the room- wolf den $350 for an bundle which includes 100 dining credits plus, access to all the parks. 2 magic wands, plus, refillable souvenir cup, wolf ears, and a cup filled candy. I gave a deposit for $804 before we arrived. The week of arrival I called and added $99 for the unlimited breakfast buffet, late checkout $29, along with an upgrade on the bundle 4 magic wands instead of two ( so all the kids would have one). Which I was told would be $55 extra plus extra dining credits. Wasn't a big deal. We wanted all the kids to have a wand. I asked what the remaining balance was and was told with the new package it would total $646, plus a $100 hold that's on top of the $804 I already paid for the deposit. We did use our dining credit which we had $78. The bill totaled $98 plus tip totaled $111.So remaining went to the room. $32.50 went to the room. Which I signed off on. No big deal. I also bought some Christmas gifts in the shop totaled $440ish. And we upgraded their wands for an extra $2.99 plus tax for all 4 wands. The kids had a blast we loved the room. Dinner was "ok" it wasn't fresh. Breakfast was great! Highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Kids played the games used the entire facility and had so much fun. For one night it's fun. More than one night not much to do. I paid $1,450 for one night that included everything I listed above so when we got there the kids could do whatever they wanted and we didn't have to pay out of pocket for anything. When I arrived never received any extra dining credits as promised. I asked the manager who didn't check into she just told me she would go into the voice calls which I luckily have recorded due to my position at work I record all calls. The kids wanted to go around so I didn't make a big deal and just left to the parks. That should have been a huge red flag for me. I paid the remaining $746. With $100 hold. Checked in and left. Jump too when I check-out I get e-mailed a bill that says, "Remaining balance $1,221." Shortly after they go into my account for $804, $200, and an extra $217. Luckily, I called my bank to put a hold on all transactions so going in and out when I received the e-mail stating I owed well over what I was originally told. We did make purchases to the room which I have all the receipts too. Totaled around $450 with everything. Not $1,221. I texted "Willow" notifying the resort of their mistake and they were not as accommodating after I checked out. Their entire demeanor changed form pleasant to very rude. Not, "we will look into this" but, " Your remaining balance at check-in was $645.15. You were authorized $745.15 for your remaining balance for your add on packages. There is also a fee for parking which is $15 for the night. Leaving a balance due of 660.15 and your additional room charges totaled to $561.43. Which comes to a balance of $1,221.58 due." The room charge was the only amount we owe or $561.43!!!! I'm not upset that I owe we knew upon arriving when we went to the shop we would owe. It's the miscellaneous $660.15 for a "add-on package". We never made any extra add -on packages upon arriving. We were sent an e-mail before areival along with a recorded call that we owed $646. Plus, $100 hold. Totaling $746 which I paid upon arrival plus, our room service charges totaling $561.43! We did not make any changes upon arrival. Zero none. We didn't get our extra credits which I didn't make a scene about and we are being charged for an add on package no one can explain! They keep saying for your add-on packages which I initially paid which why I paid $1441 for a one night stay!!! Be aware if you go here! They are most likely doing this to many people without notice. We had another trip planned for 4 nights, 5 day stay in a different state Virginia which my bf planned too surprise me and we will be cancelling that going to a different resort. Absolutely, ridiculous. Not to mention I already paid $299 for a time share conference which they had promised 4 days 3 nights and I will be attending. All calls are recorded. 1. Check-in was a nuisance that wasted almost 10 minutes at the kiosk only to be told to go to the counter so they could complete the check-in. 2. They now charge $15 a night for you to park your car at the resort that you paid for. Seriously? 3. The grounds outside were not exactly clean, but not completely trashy. However, there were plenty of cigarette butts from the parking lot to the front door and landscaping debris scattered about the sidewalk. 4. Room was clean and tidy. No bed bugs. 5. Parts of the pool areas were closed for renovations, it happens not a big deal. 6. Pizza tasted great!y try 7. Hamburgers were gross . 8. Arcade games were almost all claw drop games or ticket games and cost far more credits than their worth. 9. one can of adult beverage was $9 10. Breakfast was pretty good, plenty of variety. 11. Hot tub would have been much more enjoyable if a proper leaf barrier was installed. As it was it would fill full of leaves as fast as guests threw them out. 12. Overall the property appeared slightly worn and soiled (rugs, carpets, handrails etc.). It's understood this a high traffic facility, plan accordingly.
