From the moment we walked in, all of that melted away. The office was so warm and welcoming that our daughter thought she was in a playhouse and the dentist was just part of the fun. The dental assistant and Dr. Sorenson were absolutely amazing with both kids. They were patient, gentle, and made them feel so comfortable the entire time. You could tell they truly know how to work with little ones. Even when I made the initial appointment, the front desk staff was incredibly kind and patient and took the time to answer all of our questions, which really helped ease our nerves. We highly recommend bringing your kids here. We are so thankful we found a dentist they feel safe and happy going to. Our pediatrician office uses Summerlin Pediatric Dentistry and I had a really great first impression upon calling and speaking to staff. She explained and taught me so much over the phone since I had questions such as cost, recovery ect. Fast forward to day of appt. Didn't know the office is on the 6th floor and only a certain set of elevators go to this floor in the building! I think when patients are making a NP appt, a heads up about this is necessary. It took over 10 mins for the elevator to arrive and get on. I also went to a different set the first time and ended up being a bit late. Dentist was nice although interaction was short, but informative and thorough.

We were given one explanation over the phone, another explanation at the appointment, and ultimately wasted our time showing up for a visit that could have been avoided if the office had communicated clearly from the beginning. What is most frustrating is that instead of taking accountability for the miscommunication, there always seems to be an excuse or an attempt to shift responsibility elsewhere. At some point, communication with patients is the office's responsibility. The experience felt very much like a bait-and-switch. We were told one thing, planned accordingly, and then faced a completely different situation when we arrived. The dentist herself is great, but the front office communication and handling of insurance and billing issues have been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

However, one of his teeth was infected & my son was very nervous about an experience a few years back that caused him a lot of pain during an extraction. So we received a referral to Smile Reef. SO glad we did. Dr. Sodhi was SO amazing!! She was kind, reassuring and walked my son through the entire process. Joseph, her assistant, was super sweet and very efficient. With the help of the laughing gas, which he loved btw, he felt NO pain. We went in planning on have 3 teeth removed but they ended up removing 6 total...no more baby teeth. He's been coming here since he was about 9, after we tried a few other dentists before finding the right fit. Because Arjuna is on the spectrum, many places told me I'd need to pay over $1,000 to put him fully to sleep just to examine him. At Smile Reef, they truly understand their patients.
