I've ordered from Half Baked Goodness a few times and have found their cookies at other local businesses for purchase. Their location is a ghost kitchen and there's a small parking lot right by the door, but also street parking in the area. They offer a great variety of cookies and come out with special flavors throughout the year. I'm a big fan of the regular chocolate chip and the chocolate chip with nuts, but I've tried a bunch of the flavors and they're all tasty. These cookies are thicker and live up to the half baked name with a bit of gooeyness in the center. I recommend rewarming your cookies quickly in the m icrowave for that fresh baked experience. My wife pretty much quit eating sweets just bc of her health. I myself don't eat sweets neither unless it's not sweet at all. But my wife would have keto & gluten free cookies which this baker does have that option. This business was at a popup nearby in Elk Grove which made it very convenient for us. The first time my wife had them she said they were just average but once she placed them in the freezer it took it to a more significant tasting level. Favorite new cookie spot in Sacramento...go ahead and quote me, lol. Came across Half Baked cookies, due to them being conveniently setup at a spot in Elk Grove. That also has a really popular food truck, that serves bomb Mexican food. We went to order online one day, and the system was having issues and so we couldn't place an order we started. We reached out to the owners on IG, and they were apologetic (although it wasn't their fault). And we gracious enough to have up pickup a custom box of assorted cookies, from their downtown location at a discount for our troubles. Their downtown location is more of an order ahead and pickup outside type of setup. And is where we got to meet one of the owners, as they told us about their setup there, and about some of the other food vendors in that area. Outside of a good standard Chocolate Chip Cookie, one of my favorite Half Baked cookie flavors, is their Peanut Butter Supreme cookie. Imagine a decently sized Peanut butter cookie, but with a Half Baked spin. Where the inside is also filled with a layer of Peanut Butter; you're literally enjoying a fire Peanut butter protein cookie, lol. Had a much better experience this time around from the Half Baked Goodness trailer when they were in Elk Grove last week! They were so friendly and I liked the variety of options plus rotating flavors. They even had banana pudding available from Banana Pudding Krazy so it's really cool to see them teaming up with other businesses! The actual shape of the cookies was a lot more consistent and I loved each of the flavors we got - oatmeal chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, salted caramel, and crème brûlée. They were thick and chewy, and not too sweet! It seemed like the prices may have gone up slightly but nothing unreasonable for the quality and portion, especially considering current cost of ingredients like eggs. Huge, yummy cookies!! Find them on the "too good to go" app! I got to try these cookies at a discount and prevented waste, which is #1 awesome for this business to take part of. & #2 I got to try this place at a discount & I would definitely come back during normal business hours! I picked up these cookies at closing. It was an interesting set up because you park in the back, and you'll see a wall for a door bell or QR code, so I'm thinking it's just a preorder and pick up kind of place. But the pick up was so quick and seamless because the staff just came out with the box! & the cookies were fluffy and flavorful! I don't know the exact cookies because they give you "a surprise bag/box" with the app. But one was chocolate with chocolate, one with m&ms, a peanut butter one, and a chocolate with white chocolate I believe. You ring the doorbell and a person will come out. I came on a Thursday night and there was a very kind lady there who gave me my cookies. The cookies are HUGE.
