We bare had 6' between us and our neighbors with very little space outside to enjoy. It was like having someone in your site all day. After 10 it did go pretty quiet, so kudos for enforcing quiet hours. Outside of that, because of the proximity to each other, it was a madhouse. That was probably mainly because neighbors had little respect for others. I also, noticed the electric service had reversed polarity at our site. I must say it was a full weekend. Every site was filled. I would come off season where your not subject to sardine stacking. The surrounding area is nice. I would recommend Aspen Grove across the road. Very nice!

The promoters were not to be deterred, thankfully, as I spent a lot of money just to get here. Compared to other festivals this one is run exceptionally. There is no heavy handed security people acting like wanna be cops. There presence is there if you need one. All of the staff is friendly, helpful and happy. The crowd is organized well and there is plenty of room for everyone. The only morning competition and run for space is for shaded areas and shade shelter spots. If you want to get close to the performers it's easy to just walk up to the standing area in front of the stage. For such big name acts, the festival crowd is mellow and friendly. At no time did I smell tobacco or witness its use in the standing area, a real rarity! The biggest positive,somewhat surprisingly, is that they don't price gouge now that you are captive. At some festivals the whole town raises their prices just for you. All the prices here were pretty much normal. Some of the food trucks were a bit pricey but not obscene. The sandwiches at the coffee shop were way overpriced but overall the food and beverage scene was good. We had to take the lift to the top in order to see the mountain peaks through the smoke. I'm glad we did, it was fun and spectacular. The lodging was very nice, with a good supply of hot water and a comfortable bed. The sounds travel well through the walls and ceiling so a good nights sleep is not guaranteed. We had an elephant man upstairs who walked about in his room for hours! WHY? Just bring ear plugs, they may help. The room key gets you into the pool area, but the hot tub had too many people in it to try. Did not matter, the air temp was 95 degrees at 6:00 pm. It's a bit of a drive to get here but I think I liked this festival better than Rocky Grass, just because everything is so much easier. If there is another great lineup I'll be here! Billy Strings?

The Aerial Tram entrance is located just above the information center. After passing through the souvenir shop, turn right and you will find The Burger on your left and Sweetwater Gondola on your right. Your ticket for the Aerial Tram also grants you access to Bridger Gondola and Sweetwater Gondola. However, if you are on a tight schedule, I would highly recommend prioritizing the Aerial Tram. The other two gondolas can be skipped if time is limited. I know that the website is super hard to navigate, and I hope the following information are helpful. There are three gondolas at the resort: 1. Bridger Gondola - Takes you to the bike park and a small restaurant. 2. Sweetwater Gondola - Serves the mid-mountain terrain and takes you to Piste Mountain Bistro. 3. Aerial Tram - Brings you to the highest observation point with stunning views, access to hiking trails, and Corbet's Cabin (home of the famous waffles). During the normal season they have Ski school for the kids and lessons for adults. They have great rentals package pricing and will always give you a quick fix if things are set just right. The food is more about feeding the masses but no complaints after a morning of thigh burning steep slope action. There is a little bar in the basement or at least there used to be if it's still there. Plenty of advance action for skiers and some lower green action for the rookies. We came up here for a summer evening hike. It was so awesome. No one for miles and just a few bugs. We hiked up to the ridge and sat in the ski lift chair perched at the drop off point. Perfect evening. I say dreamed about owning my own ski hill. Making it vibrant four seasons. Cycling. Music. Food. Views and NO BUGS. LOL.

The only reason the review got 3 stars was because of the location…read more We held my daughter's wedding at the venue and were told as well as it being advertised that we could use the indoor and outdoor space for her event. We were told two days before the wedding that there is a noise ordinance which is a county ordinance. That is fine but the time was not disclosed until the day before the wedding. We were then told we would need to move the entire wedding party for dancing inside the building. That the outside area that had concrete and lights could be used to set up tables for food but not for dancing. The venue does not have air conditioning so when it's hot outside it's not safe to have people being physical inside when you are renting the location because you want to be outside. Then at 10:00pm when you have to move everything inside with all doors shut it gets extremely hot. We had the police called out twice, the first at 8:00 pm and the second at 8:45 pm which were well before the noise ordinance time. Nothing like having police lights pull up to your event and people wondering what's happening and nothing is. You're also going want to know that the wasps are really bad. Obviously, you are outside, so we expected mosquitos and flies, but the wasp traps were completely full. We told the staff we had issues at the rehearsal and were told they knew it was a problem, but you'll have to empty them and get new ones if you want. We had a couple of people get stung and anyone eating outside had to deal with them flying all around you and your food. This event venue is expensive and there comes with that a level of expectations and customer service you aren't going to get. It's a lot of "sorry" but deal with it attitude. Parking close to the venue is an issue and the signage to the location is not well marked for guests who have not been there. If you have a large party plan to have golf carts or UTV's to bring people from the farthest parking lot. It's too far walk when you're dressed nicely or in heels. The speaker system is fine, but most DJ's want to use their own equipment and not plug into another system due to worry about breaking what they have. Which they don't allow and have someone coming to your event on the hour to check and see that you're following all the rules. Basically, if you want to spend a lot of money for an outdoor wedding this is not the best choice.
