Before the haircut started, I clearly explained that I did not want my hair cut short. I simply wanted it cleaned up while keeping the length. As the haircut progressed, I became increasingly concerned and repeatedly asked him to stop cutting because it was getting much shorter than I had requested. Despite saying this several times, he continued cutting. I walked out with a haircut that looked nothing like what I had asked for. The experience also started poorly. Earlier that afternoon, I called to confirm that my 3:00 p.m. appointment would begin on time because I was on a tight schedule. I was assured everything was on track, yet I still waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time before being seen. A short wait isn't the end of the world, but ignoring a client's clearly stated instructions is. Hair takes months to grow back, and once it's cut, there's no fixing it. I chose this salon because of its excellent reputation and expected a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Instead, I left extremely disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend booking with Takuma.
