Both my partner Anthony and I get our hair done here. Tim takes careful notes on every client as to how they like their hair done, what works and what doesn't work. Over these years, I have tried different styles and lengths, and I know I can ask Tim to chime in with suggestions. My visits are always pleasant as he's friendly, on time, and doesn't rush your haircuts. I've had 3 haircuts by Tim and just booked my 4th. I've walked out really happy each time and even felt a bit narcissistic catching my clean new cut in car windows on my walk home. The fact that I found a hair stylist I trust that's also walking distance in this city is pretty unheard of. Tim knows exactly what I want without too much explanation. He'll give a bit of his professional opinion on certain aspects which is always welcome and never over the top. My hair preferences are not overly complicated but I've certainly given similar instructions to other stylists (even ones I frequented) and ended up with something that I can't wait to have grow back out. Tim has been very consistent and professional. I also appreciate that Tim is friendly and happy to converse without being overbearing. He's pretty casual and it makes sitting in a chair for a prolonged period much more comfortable. Tim's salon is a clean and professional room shared with one other stylist. The one other chair in the room is on the other side of the room behind you. You won't be bumping elbows with anyone or making awkward eye contact in the mirror.
