The owner measured, and pinned all of my pants and got to the alterations quickly and did an excellent job. They have dozens of different colors of thread to match your item perfectly and she was very pleasant to deal with and the alterations were done when expected. I was quoted $68 to fix the dress. When it was picked up it was $138 and I had not been contacted about the increase. I had asked them to fix my dress so that I could pull up the train and either attach it to the dress or the arm. This was never done. Today I tried a fitting with my future mother in law and the dress is still at least 3 inches to long. At this point ir is not usable and my wedding is on May 25. There is no time to fix the dress. Please don't let this ruin your wedding like it has mine.

Alterations are expensive, and Quality is not the cheapest option in Knoxville; the simple hem job cost $50. I wasn't told the cost up front (and didn't ask because it wouldn't have mattered), so you'll need to ask if price is a concern. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when I went to pick up, one lady was pinning up a dress for a customer but never greeted me or told me someone would be helping me soon. I stood for over 5 minutes before another lady came out, and she immediately helped the lady who had come in behind me instead of asking who was next (it should have been clear that we were in a queue). The other customer apologized to me (I didn't complain because I wasn't in a rush), but the employee never said anything to me except to tell me the total when she rang up my ticket. Brought three tablecloths here and was given a time estimate of a week for completion. She said she wasn't sure and that it would be based on measurement and couldn't give me a rough idea. This made me a bit uneasy, as the items were for work and I needed to make sure the costs fit within my allotted budget. My items were supposed to be available for pickup on Friday, but I did not know they outsource the service and one tablecloth was still in transit. I do wish someone had called to inform me of the delay. On Monday, I went back to pick up the items and the worker was very friendly. The costs were pricey but not as bad as I imagined. It was about $20 per tablecloth, totaling $60. They were all nicely cleaned and pressed and of course, wrapped and hung on hangers. I did like ease of using the drop-off receipt to look up the order upon pick-up, too. Overall, happy with the finished product but hoped for better communication and clarity of pricing.
