Chicken is always good and fresh. I think that I prefer the strips or nuggets over the actual chicken but all are delish. I also like to get the blueberry biscuit. No complaints on the food or service. Located inside the Slauson swap meet in the back. Quick pick up window or you can sit at the tables. Last visit, I opted for the red beans and rice over the fries (because I thought they were still using those hard and thick wedges)...but to my surprise it was regular crinkle cuts. I've ordered from this location via GrubHub delivery and I have also patronized their location as a walk-in customer. My first order was just fine. Anything after that has been a problem. I've had them forget portions of my order as a walk-in. I was also not given my change or receipt. When I returned home and realized that my order was incorrect, I was told they were aware (yet, no one stopped me in the parking lot) and they would correct the issue. In order for them to correct the issue, I had to go out of my way to return to their location. When I returned, I was treated like I was a liar. "You should have come back the next day." No, you should have put ALL of my mfing food in my bags, along with my dessert (which was disgusting when I finally got it) and my beverages. And I never got my receipt or my change. Thieves. A couple years passed (literally), and I ordered from them via GH again. Same shit, different day. Salty ass chicken. No biscuits, though I paid for extra biscuits and an order that arrived so late, by the time I received it and called to inform them there was a problem, they closed. Never ever again. The manager Ms. Faye is always amazing each time I visit the Slauson Swapmeet and purchase food from Krispy Chicken. Unfortunately a new male hire named John gave me terrible service on 03/13/2020. John displayed an extremely short temperment, unaccomodating behavior, rude customer service, and got my order wrong in the grand spectrum of my experience. The food here is delicious and I will visit again, but hopefully a manager see's this and reprimands their new hire. He doesn't represent the brand good at all. read more

The chicken, biscuits, and tenders are amazing. The jalapeño Mac & cheese is a must EVERY visit and is hot & ready to go. I gave 4/5 because I ordered the 4 piece chicken tender meal and they gave me one sauce. The tenders are high (thank you) though I had to purchase additional sauces which was puzzling. Fire fire chicken spot in the back of the Slauson Swapmeet, they have different flavored homemade cool-aide. I ordered a 10 piece chicken tender combo with the biscuit, fries and a fruit punch cool-aide and couldn't even finish the chicken tenders because they were very fulfilling. The 10 piece comes with 2 dipping sauces of your choice. The cool-aide is a bit sweet so just be aware of that, other than that it's a pretty good spot for chicken, I will be returning. read more

I thought she was pulling my leg, but this time she was right. About how good they are, but not about the name. They are Boudin Bites, and they are so good, so not-greasy, so fresh! And I am glad to report that the chicken is fabulous as well- true to it's name. Don't you hate when you are told something is krispy and instead it's limp and mushy? The food was okay, but KFC is tastier - not nearly as good as when they had roasted chicken - but decent fried bird. It really tasted like Church's to me. Service was awful. There was a young woman at the cash register: when I walked up to it and said "Good morning", she just looked me in the eye and turned away. It took at least another 3-5 minutes while she tended to more important things, I presume (I saw her wiping up a spill on the floor and chatting with the cook).
