Went thru the drive thru at the Belsay Rd location around 2:30 pm on 5/5/26. It took us around 5 minutes to get onto 1-69 and unwrap our Oliveburgers, which were cold. Not even warm, or lukewarm... Cold. The cheese wasn't even melted. If it wouldn't have been such a pita to get turned around, we'd have taken them back. Avoid this location. read more

One of our all time favs to have when we are back in The Mitten! We both had the olive burger, a Halo classic. My hubby had fries and lemonade. I had the cheese curds and a Coke. First time Halo burger guy here. Got to say not too good. Started off bad waited 15 minutes for two warming tray burgers. The burger other then being cold. Was nothing to write home about. Mustard only pickles were tasty and the two dry beef patties. They do use fresh burger. But from there it goes downhill fast. Had high hopes. Maybe just a bad day for this Halo burger. read more

Service: There was two people in line ahead of me and we sat in line for 15 mins before even ordering. Food: i pay 10 damn dollars for an OLIVE BURGER. it is IN THE NAME low and behold.. there is NO OLIVES which this location is apparently known for now seeing on google and yelp. Came through the drive through last month and was super annoyed. Breakfast items don't have a time of when they're served- so I attempted to order a breakfast burrito and was told they don't have breakfast "right now." Alright then... proceed to order our food- spent about $20, ordered food that required dips and when I asked for BBQ sauce, was told it was .33 cents. Really? REALLY???? Sure, .33 cents isn't a big deal- but I was told this after they already swiped my card, and ordered chicken tenders and cheese curds- both should come with a sauce. I just spent $20 on mediocre fast food and you want to charge me .33 cents for BBQ??? Get real. read more

My husband stopped on his way home from work to pick up a couple burgers and fries as he does a couple times a month. He ordered two singles with cheese and olives. when he got home, I opened the bag and took a bite of my burger. It was wafer thin, no cheese and limp lettuce. I called and spoke to the manager and told her something was wrong. She said nothing had changed in the way they prepare the burgers. I've been eating Halo burgers for thirty years, I'll bring them back for you to see. I returned them after waiting twenty minutes for a party of four to order. The manager came out and I started to show her what I was talking about, an employee came up to the counter and said she took the order and that my husband ordered two cheesy singles and that's what he got. I know what my husband ordered, its the same thing EVERY time he goes. I said well I don't want them. She said, "Either do we, you can throw them away, there is a trash can right there. I did and will never, ever eat another Halo burger as long as I live. The manager stood there without saying a word! No offer to make the correct order or a refund, no apology, nothing. If that is their policy for customer service they will be out of business in a very short time. I will be contacting corporate in the morning. We spent eleven dollars and two trips to Halo Burger for nothing. It will not happen again. read more

This place is nasty! had dinner there Sunday evening with my mom she ordered the Flint Coney Dog which was black- perhaps the meat has been sitting for a couple days??? My hamburger wasn't cooked it was pink! the people working in the back preparing the food we're just completely clueless ... slower than snails .... This location, especially, is great. The hb buns are steamed and warm, the service is fast, their conditions concerning Covid seem safe. The drive-through employee, Sandra, is especially friendly. I am not connected in any way to Halo Burger. Great store. read more

When I have a craving for a burger, I automatically think Halo Burger. Nothing beats a supreme burger with olives. This location is close to my home. I've given 3 chances to this location. Twice having given me the wrong burger (QP, not supreme) but charging me. And this last time, finding out their lobby area closes before Subways. I am aware Dorch owns both Subway AND Halo Burger, so it's a bit disappointing to see one subway employee serving the 9 customers while Halo Burger refuses to take any orders from their lobby area and will direct me to go through the drive thru to order. It makes absolutely no difference. read more

... Is this place for real? First my husband ordered a spicy chicken sandwich no lettuce with chili cheese fries and a root beer. I ordered a BLT cheddar burger with onion rings and a vernors. The spicy chicken sandwich was a normal one... Not spicy... There was no mayo... I do not understand how you could mess that up.. The chili cheese fries had barely anything on it!!! Almost $5 for a box full of barely anything added fries... My burger had no condiments once again I do not understand this. Either they are skimping because they are cheap or their employees just do not care. We will NEVER be eating here again!!! The food is totally NOT WORTH the price. We visited this location for the first time, craving an old fashioned QP olive burger...remembering how much we used to love them when we visited downtown Flint back in the 80s. This location appears fairly new and is shared space with a Subway restaurant. I was disappointed right away when it took several minutes at the counter before someone even acknowledged us...all the time I could see an employee around the corner who looked like he was eating...the only two others that I could see were busy preparing drive through orders. I ordered a QP burger combo (delux with olives). It was okay, but not what I remember that used to be an award winning burger in Flint. We also ordered the onion rings which are now different as well. A thick crunchy batter now replaces the old thin batter rings we grew up with. Not a fan! So I can only give two stars for now, sorry Bill Thomas, this Halo Burger probably would make you turn over in your grave. read more

We waited in line 30 minutes in the drive through. Somehow the burger came out over cooked and cold. The bun on the chicken sandwich was grainy, I pulled it off. They forgot 3 kids drinks, two French fries and messed up details on several other orders. The kids didn't like the chicken nuggets or burgers either. Only winner was hot dog and onion rings. I'll never be coming here again. A girlfriend and I pulled up to the drive through window at 10:20, store doesn't close until 11. We were greeted rudely at the speaker by a man who said "it's the final hour" twice while I was ordering. We ordered a #9 to share and a medium cheese curd, that was all. He had the worst attitude and when I pulled up to pay I handed him a $20 and he said "we need to speed this up" EXCUSE ME? YOU DON'T CLOSE FOR 40 MINUTES. He handed me my change and dropped all of my coins onto the pavement. Who ever was working the window tonight, I hope you lose your job. Not a single bit of remorse for dropping my money. First thing I noticed when I walked into this location was how filthy it was. I needed to change my daughters diaper so I first went to the bathroom only to find that they had no changing table. I had to take my daughter out to the car and change her in the backseat before even placing my order. After returning inside and placing my families order, we waited about 15 minutes for our food. We couldn't even find a clean table in the entire restaurant, the drink station was filthy, the high chair was covered in food, crumbs, and was sticky. I had to use baby wipes to clean our table, the booth, and the high chair before even sitting down to eat. The food was ok, but by the time we got it I was pretty grossed out and just wanted to leave. We will not be returning to this location. read more
