I can't say enough good things about Brothers! The waitstaff are always welcoming and today we had our usual waitress, Ameada, she greeted us by name! We hadn't been in a month or so. She's the best, but all of them are thought and ready to make your brunch special. I spoke to the manager to praise Ameada and he told me they are very careful with hiring. The food is fresh and made in-house. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes with lemon curd and fresh strawberries for $14 and my date had breakfast chia pudding. $14 You can't get that anywhere around here. I love their home-made, seasoned potatoes and my date likes the bacon. My son always gets the smoked salmon frittata for $17. Those prices are fair considering the quality and staff. A regular Coney place will be a few dollars cheaper but we are rarely that excited, and the choice is more limited. It is usually busy every day. I would recommend going at 10am. They are only open 7:30am until 3. Don't come after 2;30. Let the staff a chance to clean up and go home at a reasonable time. read more

We arrived at Brothers Brunch House around 1PM on a busy Saturday. After about a 35-minute wait, our buzzer went off and we were seated quickly. It was worth every minute. The food was excellent. One of us had the Chicken & Waffles with a side of Billion Dollar Bacon--crispy, sweet, and totally indulgent. Another tried the Carrot Pancake, which had great texture and flavor and a side of sweet cream made it all come together. The Farm Hash was hearty and satisfying, great mix of ingredients including mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. The Berry French Toast was beautifully done--sweet, fruity, and comforting with a delicious cream cheese filling --and adding a side of grits was a nice Southern touch. Service stood out: warm, friendly, attentive despite the crowd. Plates came with plenty of food so we had leftovers--you can tell they don't skimp. Overall, a wonderful brunch experience. The food alone makes this place worth the 30-mile drive (we live in Clarkston) and the fast preparation seals the deal. Our breakfast was delicious, generous, and came out remarkably quickly, even though the place was absolutely hopping (always a great sign). The teamwork among the waitstaff was impressive. Our table was greeted right away by one waitress who got us started and let us know our server would be with us shortly. Shonda, our waitress, was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming--she even shared tips on local vinyl record shops. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes are aaaammmmmmazing! So good. Enough for 2-3 people! I would eat them daily if I could. Their specialized drinks are yummy also! The burgers are huge, juicy and good! The only bad thing I can say about the place would be that you wait a long time on weekends to get a table, it is ALWAYS busy and somewhat noisy, and the chicken and waffles were not especially great. The chicken strips for the waffles are dry and kind of hard, not battered, crispy and juicy. That being said, I would definitely recommend this place to others! What we liked: *Immediate seating. *Fresh squeezed Oj was good. *The potatoes/hashbrowns were good perfectly. *The turkey gravy has great taste and flavor. * The French toast cannoli filling is so good. *The corn beef in the Irish hash also quite flavorful. What could be better: * Little more corn beef in the Irish Hash. Just a lot of shreds. *This is a personal taste- ordered scrambled eggs with the hash- and they weren't cooked all the way. Slimy whites in scrambled eggs is an immediate nope. Scraped them off and waited for waitress to come back, by the time she checked on us - I had eaten enough and no longer cared. *The actual French toast was just ok and barely lukewarm. My colleague from Belgium and I came here for a pre-meeting brunch around noon on a Monday. Yes, he tried the Belgian Waffles and yes, he did confirm they are legit. Food 5/5 - Farmstead hash was incredibly delicious and it took everything in me to not eat the whole plate - bacon was thick, cheese was abundant but not over powering, and scrambled eggs were fluffy and light. There were a bunch of potatoes so my only criticisms would be to tone back potatoes a bit and maybe add another egg but it was 95% a perfect dish. On the belgian waffles I would not have been mad about having a little more of the icing but the blueberry compote was freaking great to compensate. Service 5/5 - Waitress was very chill, frequently appeared to check on us, and left a carafe of coffee for us to refill so we weren't waiting on her which was a great idea. Someone came around later into the meal and asked outright if we were satisfied with the service, this business is truly doing it right taking care of their customers. Vibe 5/5 - This place was bustling at lunch time but the mix of tables had our party of 2 sitting right away. Nice noise level, easy to converse but although tables are packed pretty tight it didn't feel like we were eavesdropping on our neighbors. They basically push you out. We were only there from 10:30 until 11:45. At first they say, "is it ok if I take a few things?" And then they take empty plates or trash. They come back 5 minutes later and ask again... we said, "sure but we want to keep our drinks; we are still drinking them." So they take napkins and silverware. 5 minutes later, they didn't even ask, they just took our drinks away. Coffees we were drinking, waters, juice. It was super rude! The ambience of everything is really pretty good and I've just tasted two dishes. The fruit cup was completely fresh so was the orange juice and a glass of milk. I ordered a four piece fried chicken with Belgian waffle completely spot on. The seasoning was over the top. That is the best thing about food is to make sure that you have your seasoning on every single piece that you order. The Cobb salad that I had to go was completely delicious. If it was possible to give this establishment more than 5 stars, I would. You can tell the owners took the time to not only hand craft a delicious menu, but train their staff well. Every single person from out greeter, to our waitress, was wonderful. Polite, outgoing, and smiles all around. The food.. delicious. I actually don't know how I'm going to go grocery shop after this. The pancakes.. HUGE. So keep that in mind when ordering. The carrot cake pancakes were delicious- even without the cream cheese icing on them. Their million dollar bacon was sweet- and spicy, with just the right kick. My omelette was delicious!!I opted for the egg white which complemented the bacon and avocado perfectly. We were seated rather quickly which was surprising for a crowded restaurant on a Sunday. The server waitress unfortunately was not strong and she had an attitude, which I rarely see and we go out often. Servers with attitude should not be in front. She even made a snarky comment at one point. The food was really good though but the prices were on the high side for breakfast especially.
