My two besties and I were coming to Long Beach for the weekend and wanted matching tattoos. The amazing Kayla was able to see us and she was FABULOUS!! She had so much patience for us and our individual quirks and made us feel totally welcome and chill. The shop itself is beautiful and clean and we just had the best time!

They have a wide variety of artists who can accommodate a variety of styles. I have had tattoos done by both Melanie (pictured) and Dakota. Both of them are very thorough and take the time to make sure you are getting what you want. Melanie is very precise and careful with her work and will make sure everything is perfect! I'm happy with my tattoos and I think you can't go wrong in choosing this shop for your next tattoo.

A buddy of mine recommended Erika at Halo Tattoo Collective in Long Beach and I can personally say she was a great recommendation. Pricing wise I think it's exactly what I thought! After scheduling the appt I sent Erika the deposit and next is waiting for tattoo day. I walked in - the shop is very clean and nice! It's in a pretty cool location in Long Beach and pretty close to the beach! Erika greeted me and sized the tattoo on my calf and it was perfect the first time. I decided to go with a pineapple on my calf. It was exactly what I wanted from pictures I sent over email. The tattoo was honesty very quick - I thought maybe a couple hours and I was out within the hour! It came out great! I continue to get compliments of how sharp and clear it is. She has a ton of experience and it shows. Also she gave after care directions and her website has them listed as well. Thank you Erika - check out her shop!

Brilliant, artistic and 100% the right vibes! My first tattoo and I'm beyond happy with it (check the photos). The People: My tattoo was done by Wade Hex. He is a great human firstly and made me feel extremely comfortable; no jitters! Back story here is I had gone to another tattoo artist a DIFFERENT tattoo shop 3 days prior and they didn't know how to do the lettering I wanted for my tattoo so I headed to Halo and Wade greeted me and I showed him my design and lettering and it was not a problem for him. He actually chose a font that was a bit nicer than my original font! The environment: So clean, so chill and very friendly to all. The music was chill too, Morrissey and The Cure!! They even gave me a Halo Collective T-shirt to wear during my tattoo because I wore a white tank - lol wrong color for a tattoo day. Thanks Halo The design: I couldn't be happier. I love it and it's sexy and cute and dainty and ethereal. I had my first on my rib cage and it didn't really hurt at all - yay! I'll be getting more! Thanks Halo!!! Thanks Wade! read more

This review is for Jen Guinevere. I'm disappointed with my experience after getting tattooed with Jen. My experience at the shop during my tattoo was great (3/8/26) and I was excited to hopefully come back for my next tattoo. I started to notice a bad reaction the day after I got tattooed (3/9/26) and reached out to Jen on Instagram for some advice. She messaged me back a week later on 3/16/26, by that time I had already gone to urgent care and the er. I was prescribed 2 kinds of strong antibiotics due to a skin infection. I have several other tattoos and have never had any issues healing. I was thinking maybe I had some kind of bad reaction to the ink or derm sheild so I asked Jen about the brand/type of ink and derm sheild so I don't use in the future but she never responded to me. I reached out on 3/23, 3/31, and 4/7. I'm not sure why she just ignored my messages but I'm very disappointed, I never once blamed her or anything, I just would have appreciated a response. read more

Stopped by as a Walk-in and staff was super accommodating and friendly. The shop itself is very clean with a lot of natural light and cute decor. I was tattooed by Melanie. She is upfront with pricing and is willing to work with you to find the right placement and color scheme. She also has superrrr clean line work. I would recommend this shop 5/5! read more

My brother and I were walking to a different shop for his first and my 6th tattoo. Along the way, we passed Halo and he remarked how nice it was inside; indeed! Clean, cute, bright. He did a quick review search-highly rated. We were getting small tattoos and already had our images downloaded on my phone, so Melanie made space in her afternoon (even though she had a client) and did our tattoos right then. She could not have been nicer and more professional. I have been tattooed in a few different local and higher end shops, and this was as good as they come. Great work, great energy, 10/10-will return! read more

Halo Tattoo Collective is the perfect place to get a tattoo. The shop is very clean and vibrant which gives off positive vibes. All of the artists there are very professional and knowledgeable as well as very accommodating to their clientele. I have been getting tattooed by the shop owner, Erika Jurkovic over the course of a few years now and each time I get a tattoo, I am amazed by the work that she puts out. With 20+ years experience in the industry, it shows very well. She specializes in a variety of different tattooing styles which makes her a very well-rounded tattoo artist. She is very meticulous in her work and has an excellent work ethic. If you're looking to get your first tattoo or even another tattoo, do yourself a favor and look into getting it done at this shop! read more

I have been following Lindsey on Instagram for years and finally had a chance to see her! The shop is super clean and I loved the lighting in here. Lindsey was extremely nice and talked me through everything (I have anxiety and when I'm nervous I ask a LOT of questions). We called about a walk in on a Saturday and they were able to get us in SUPER quick. We were scheduled with Wade. He was AMAZING! I've never had a tattoo hurt less. The lightest touch I've ever had. I have had tooth gem services done here and angelica is the sweetest! she has a very fast response time and is just so professional and fun. i just started my stomach tattoo with erika (@bobcat36 on ig) the owner and she also has a very fast response time and is very detail oriented. she made me feel comfortable through my first session and i can't wait until we finish my stomach. the shop is super clean and aesthetically pleasing. if you love supporting women owned businesses, please check out Halo. This place is amazing! I just has my eyebrows micro bladed a few weeks ago and I could not be any happier. Making my eyebrows symmetrical was my biggest concern and Erika made sure that was a priority. She took time to make sure everything was exactly what I wanted before starting. She was gracious and gentle when working on me. I mean it is your face! The outcome was better than I thought it could be! My brows are gorgeous. LOVE LOVE LOVE my new brows! I'd contemplated getting my eyebrows done over many years but never felt confident about the decision to go for it. I wanted to be absolutely certain that I was in the best hands possible. I'd always felt like I needed to work extra hard everyday to make sure my eyebrows looked perfect and that daily effort started to become exhausting. Some days you just don't feel like it, ya know? How nice would it be to be able to run out the door and not stress about what those eyebrows are doing?! I'm very glad I waited and put my trust in Erika. My eyebrows are THE BOMB! This is the second time that I've been to the tattoo and piercing shop; the first time I went with a friend and also came in for a repiercing due to a hospitalization. I'm hoping this will be the last time that I go to this shop for a repiercing, but I will definitely come back here if I have to. Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with my piercer Joslyn and would highly recommend her for your piercing needs. Thanks again!!

I originally wanted the drips to be sumi-E ink style and the former artist charged me so much, lacked details, did it his own way even though he required my own specific design - he just couldn't get the interpretation down and I did not want to risk another visit with him. I knew Courtney would get it. She spent time doing her own design of my verbal input with some visual references and ended up adding extra details I could only dream of but never say aloud. She did it in 2 visits, not as heavy handed, and again the price was right. Her music vibes! Always a great time at Broadway. Also if you're into piercings, I've never seen an unhappy customer and believe me I say there for hours! I'll prob take my cousin for that. I had lip blushing done by Erika. She was very professional and took time to ensure I would achieve the result I wanted. She started off with more natural nude tones which is what I thought maybe I initially wanted and it was also safer to go on the lighter side as opposed to the dark. She assured me that if I had not attained the results that I was looking for then she could improve it on the second visit. The second visit is to see the results of the first procedure and then gauge what is needed. The second time I left with exactly what I wanted. It took three weeks to really see the final results but I can say that it was a good investment. I can wake up and put a little gloss on my lips or Vaseline and that will suffice. I don't have to worry about my lips blending into the rest of my face. I would definitely recommend Erika. read more

This spot is hella chill, I booked a guest spot with (ig) @lewduhkrissy and I got two sick tattoos!! She was really fast too which is awesome. I went in to do micro blading for the first time ever. My appointment was scheduled with Erika Jurkovic. I trust her detial and she is gentle and just knew what looked best on me. I wanted a fullness in my brows that she got! They remind me of the brows I had when I was in my 20's- full and long. After a series of signs telling me to start digging into my social media bag, this studio further reaffirmed that I need to step out of my comfort zone and start making content--especially since I basically walked into a masterclass on content creation. They were shooting vids for their different socials, and I gained such invaluable information from the crew. I left feeling so fulfilled and had the same dopamine rush as if I were the one under the tattoo needle. I knew I was meant to be in that space at that exact time. My friend's tat came out so bomb! I got to sit up close throughout the entire process, and we all laughed and shared experiences the whole time. Needless to say, when I am ready for my next tattoo, I will not hesitate to book here.

The shop's energy and decor are witchy, welcoming, and so positive, it immediately made me feel comfortable and excited to be there. I first found Cassidy through the shop's Instagram and loved her work! I submitted a request form via the link in her profile with the details of our design idea, and she responded quickly to confirm the booking and gather a few more specifics. She was friendly, clear, and professional throughout the whole process. On the day of our appointment, Cassidy had multiple size options ready for us to choose from, and once we settled on the size, she got started right away. The tattoo came out beautifully with clean lines, great placement, and exactly what we envisioned. She worked efficiently but with so much care and attention to detail. I also really appreciated how she provided an aftercare kit at the end of our session and it included unscented soap, unscented lotion, clear care instructions, and even a little sweet treat. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel even more special. While I was there, I completely fell in love with one of the stencils she had displayed at her station and now I'm even more excited for my next tattoo with her. Sofia added detailing and finish work and added more color and covered up the remaining skulls. We still have a couple more sessions (it's a big piece!) but so far I am incredibly happy with her work. She is a true artist! I have bought new shirts that show them off now because I was embarrassed by the old work. I have recommended her to friends and family because she does incredible work! I will add photos of the back part of the piece once it's complete.
