These people bring shame to my culture. My parent signed up with Hambik tour to go to grand canyon during covid, and they got on the bus and got there to find out that the company didn't organize with the park, they didn't notified the national park service that we are bringing in x number of people. So they ended up driving 20+ hours without visiting the national park. Not only that, they didn't return their money or apologize for their misconduct. At least, they could've offered a credit, so you can go with them again without paying or at a discount price. read more

Well... where do I start. I went on a 3 day trip to San Francisco. The trip started with them making us pray for the trip and continued for the rest of the trip. On the way the very old guide made us play dumb games that nobody enjoyed and then told us "educational" aka racist, homophobic, and xenophobic facts about the city. I mean really? I thought this is America. She literally said the place were about to stay is clean there are no black people, not even Asians so feel safe. She referred gay people as "dranq" which is so disrespectful. As a "great" addition to the trip the whole time to San Francisco and back they were playing super laud and annoying Persian music. Save ur money and never take a tour with them. The hotel was nice. Satenik was the tour guide. She wasn't really helpful and the driver was rude. They also collect mandatory tips for the driver. Satenik the tour lady was the rudest person ever. I continuously asked her to turn down the laud music she told me I'm to young to talk to her like that. I paid for my ticked and the tickets of my two other family members so to be talked to in a way like I don't matter didn't make me feel good. She was disrespectful towards me and my family members for the whole tour and made us feel uncomfortable. My migraine was literally the worst I've ever had. read more

This tour bus was awful. The tour guides clearly said that they would take us to places like a church or museum but they never did. They said it was because of covid but last week my friend went on their tour and they took their tour bus into those places. I don't recommend going on this tour bus because of how terrible the workers are. They clearly lied to us and continuously made excuses as to why we couldn't go anywhere. Unfortunately the person who initially booked this bus for a Casino trip for seniors, wasn't forthcoming with information that would have allowed me to google them before continuing with them, had I... I would have cancelled the trip. Seniors from my mom's apartment booked this trip for about 50 to go to the casino. Bus started out at $500 and then they were told it would be $525 because a few additional people were coming which to me was weird, they should have been booking the bus not per person. Honestly it seemed a little much but since I wasn't involved with the negotiations the price was set. They were also told they'd have to stop in Glendale for water and treats, that wasn't as bad as we first thought it'd be since no one had to get off. Also at some point, someone from the company informed the group that they would need to pay the tip upfront. So when the bus gets there and everyone gets on, the bus driver has a conversation with another person in Armenian, I'll just say thank for my translate app. (you never know who's listening!) Bus driver demanded tip up front, wanted $100 was negotiated down to $60. Anyways, before he would even leave/shut the doors, he counted the money. He would have gotten much more if he had waited until the envelope was passed around. Apparently wouldn't help seniors on and off the bus which I guess might be a liability so I get that but they need more of an accessible stairwell if they're transporting the elderly. He also parked a little bit away from the entry way of the casino and when dropping the seniors off, he didn't pull up where he picked them up at but at the very back of another apartment building. I guess he was accommodating half of the seniors that lived there however he should have dropped everyone all the same place he picked them up. The bus wasn't in tip top shape either. Just a weird vibe all around and from this I would not choose to book a future trip with them. The only thing everyone did like is the tour guide seemed really nice and was given a tip. This tour do not deserve any star at all . I have to put one as it's yelp requirement. All the office staff are big liars. They abused old people by their lies and not any good services. Most of their clients are Armenian or Russian elder people who can't speak English all. They gave no other choices, that's the reason they take this unprofessional unethical tour company. Recently I took a tour to Grand Canyon. The hotel was so cheep and dirty. I found coffee maker in bathroom, so discusting. No tissue paper at all. They told us rooms has refrigerator , but they lied. The tour guide was sleepy and tired from her life, transferred us lots of negative energy . she was nagging all the time (5 hours trip) . Instead of kept passengers happy and made their day by music or jokes , they served cheap Arminian Cognac drink in bus three times in a day and keep elder people in sleepy mood to do not understand what's going on. Tour guide didn't want to answered people's questions . She was so lazy. She looks like driver's assistant not tour Gide. I haven't seen any time management at all. They waste lots of time, as they are unorganized. After 15 ours being in bus we arrived to Grand Canyon after sunset and just stay there for 30 minutes. We couldn't took enjoyment of being in that place and couldn't take good photos because of darkness . Four of elders lost in Grand Canyon , because of darkness and it tools 30 minutes to find them by Nooneh, tour guide . Shame on you by choosing that cheap Chinese food place. We stayed hungry till 10 pm when we get back to hotels after 15 hours being on road .Their office manager Anahid is so rude and unprofessional and unethical. She told me I am only one who has complained. I am not surprised, as she can't read English to go and read the reviews....What we can expect from their office staff , when office manager is Anahid. I do not recommend this tours at all to any one. Take care of your elder parents . This tours designed to abuse them by get huge money and no good services at all . Save your times nerves and money . They are big liars and abusers .They changed us for this ridiculous trip and service for 400$ for each person. I take further step by law as their office manager Anahid did not take responsibility for all these that we experienced by refunding or offering for compensation. Shame on you . How on earth do these people stay in business you might ask? Easy answer: They're dealing with Armenian elders with limited English if any however, one thing they don't get is that the elders they deal with have kids/grandkids that WILL deal with them. Tell me Hambik tours, how in hell are you cancelling a scheduled, deposited tour date and claim the bus won't be all booked and full of passengers therefore you won't provide the service and the elderly people now need to get dragged to your office to get refunded? Are you kidding? And apparently this isn't the first time you have pulled this stunt on your passengers either, which i just learned about from my family members! Some people cancelled birthday parties/family get togethers/even wedding attendance just to go on the trip they were looking forward to that was deposited on weeks prior, but you and your staff think it's ok to call these folks a day prior to the scheduled trip to tell them your bus seats weren't ALL sold out therefore you are cancelling the trip? REALLY? Has it ever occurred to you that even big airlines such as Southwest and Delta fly state to state on schedule, even if they only have 10 passengers instead of 200? Why you might ask? IT'S CALLED SERVICE something you're clearly lacking! Broken bus, replacement bus with less seats, people standing inside the busfor 3+,hr while on drive mode, kids seating on the floor, old customers with open heart surgery standing in the bus, charging customers for the uber trip, just because they weren't able to pick up them from the location that was promised at purchasing tickets, made 50+ people (majority of them senior citizens) to walk for 45 min to get on the road in order to get picked up, follow up calls made, unsuccessful, they careless and can't help you, will file a complaint with board of CSLB CA.GOV read more

My mom took the tour to Lake Tahoe and was very very disappointed. In the past she was happy with them but this time very unhappy. Traveled with very old and dirty bus, then motel where they stayed was filthy and disgusting. You charged almost double compare to before but the whole tour was ten times worse then before. Heard about this through a family friend. I called once and the lady was pretty nice and informative. However I called the second time earlier in the morning and the lady was pretty grumpy. I couldn't understand a location she was saying and asked her a couple of times to clarify. And she got pretty angry and raised her voice each time when asked to clarify. I left the conversation upset. I came to yelp to see if others shared my experience and to my surprise, many people are pretty unhappy with the staff. I give two stars in hopes of if I ever do try it out, I hope that the tour is great. Not very inclined to try it out though. read more

If I could give this travel company zero starts I totally would. I highly recommend your travel arrangements be made with a different traveling agency!! On June 19, 2016, Father's day, my parents, my aunt, and her husband went on a father's day trip to San Diego. Unfortunately, that Sunday and Monday happened to be the two days where we had a horrible heat stroke. Headed back to Glendale on Monday, all those poor elderly people were stuck on a two hour bus ride WITHOUT ANY AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!! Oh, and the bus had No Windows!!!!! Several people including my father did not feel well at all. My father, who has a heart condition, nearly passed out. Yes, I am thankful he didn't, but does it really need to come to that point for the agency to start taking better care of their customers? My mom even had muscle cramps and difficulty walking upon arrival. The whole point of "Hambik's Tour" is to provide a fun and memorable experience for our elders, not send them to their death beds. I wonder what would have happened if someone were to faint or end up at the hospital? I guess we will never find out since We will be arranging our future travels with companies who don't suffocate their customers. Do yourself a favor, steer clear from these guys!! read more

So we went on a tour to Laughlin. I love Laughlin been there a few times with hambiks tour but this time I was very disappointed. #1 we had the worst most boring most rude and unhappy tour guide ever. She would ask us what we wanted to do. I mean come on isn't it your job to keep people entertained! She kept saying no one can use the rest room in the back. Okay we understand people shouldn't go #2 but you have over 50 elderly people who take all sorts of medications and if one of them has to go pee they have to go pee. Come on that is ridiculous not letting these people go pee. They have to hold their pee for 2 hours for the rest stop. These are old people stop with your ridiculous rules! I couldn't stand that tour guide any longer. She needs to get a new job cause clearly she hates her job! The bus driver was great but wouldn't understand that it was too cold on the bus everyone was frozen. Yes we had jackets but it was very cold and when you tell them to turn off AC they don't even give a dam! I'll Go again but I will make sure the same tour guide isn't there. read more

Just came back from a tour of San Francisco with Hambik's Tour. Enjoyed myself thoroughly, had a great short break. The trip was indeed an excellent value for money. The Holiday Inn we stayed at was clean and efficient with an exercise, breakfast rooms and an on demand hot drink desk. The owner/operator of the tour happened to be travelling with us and was just as hardworking as the employees of the company. They were knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and did an excellent job of educating us about San Francisco while entertaining us with good singing and dancing, poetry and love of Armenian culture. This was my fifth travel with this tour company and since I have already visited other parts of the country, by myself, I am running out of places to travel to with this company. My family and I (ladies trip with my mom, aunts and cousin) went to Laughlin on Hambik Tours. The tour guide, Anahid, was amazing. She was funny and kept us entertained throughout the trip. She was calm under pressure. The bus isn't top of the line. It's basic with some seats loose, tables missing and on the way back, the air conditioning was struggling to cool the whole bus. The bus driver Miguel was great too. The only issue I had with the tour, which the company can't control, is the people that were on the bus. We're all Armenian but after that trip, I was ashamed to be associated with that culture. Thankfully, they were from another country than I was...I won't mention which country. They were rude, loud, drunk and inconsiderate of the other people on the bus. My cousin got into an altercation with one of them because they had the gall to tell one of my aunts not to chew gum and then started to speak in their language. I'm glad my cousin spoke up and put them in their place and spoke to them in English which shut them up for the rest of the trip. Other people on the bus were rude when we were speaking in our language and not in Armenian. They had the gall to tell us to stop speaking our language and speak Armenian. If you don't know, the majority of the people on the trip are older. That still doesn't excuse the rudeness and lack of manners. Plus, be aware that some people on those buses are hardcore gamblers and can get grouchy if the bus is late by 5 minutes. There was a older man (I'm loathe to call him a man) actually yelled at people when they got on the bus late and was constantly complaining if the bus was a little late. Again, I applaud Anahid on staying calm during those moments those drunk and rowdy people were misbehaving. That's the only issue I had. It's a toss up of what you'll get when you sit in a bus with 60 other people. If you're stuck with inconsiderate and rude people, like we were, then it's going to take a lot of patience and maybe a confrontation to get through the trip. But if you're lucky, you might end up with a nice group! read more

My parents went to Armenia with Hambik's tour for their 25th wedding anniversary. They had an AMAZING time. The price was absolutely amazing for everything that was included. They really liked Hambik, who was very kind, and had a lot of knowledge on MANY things that he shared in the tour. My family decided to take a Humbik tour the first time to Fresno. We bought tickets and have a sits numbers on it. We got to the bus on Intersection Victory and Whitest. The bus were already full, and all the seats were occupied . I don't understand the meaning of giving the seats !!!! My family wanted to sit next to each other but we were seated separately ! My kids were very far form me and every they had a question they had to walk across the bus and wake me up and come to me ! Which is very dangerous when the bus is driving!!! In the back bus had a toilet but the guide name Mary told us to not use it because it will smell during the trip. My wife and I went to Armenia Tour on September 2015 and it was a wonderful experience. well above our expectations. We not only had a lot of fun and great experience, but got a chance to know Hambik. He is a genuine tour guide and a great entertainer. Well familiar with Armenian history and a fun loving person to be with. Hotel selection was very good and choice of restaurants were excellent. From the moment we arrived at Zvartnots/Yerevan airport, everything was provided for us by Hambik so we didn't have to worry about where to go and stay, what transportation means to use, or where to go eat next. Lets not forget mentioning about tasting local wines, local mulberry and peach vodka, fresh tunir-baked lavash breads & fresh fruits along our visits. Staying at Artsakh, Jermuk and visiting dilijan were amongst the peak events of our tour. We will cherish every moment of our tour for years to come.
