Loved the atmosphere here! I sat on the patio with my dog Stella. She was very welcomed by all the nice waitresses! Our waitress was Kaitlin and she was so sweet. She brought out a water bowl for Stella and gave her lots of love. I started with a flight of beers. I had the pretzel for my appetizer which Stella loved it too. Then for my dinner I had the tiki bowl. Everything was perfect perfect portions and ratios to all the food. I even loved the jelly donut beer so much I bought a growler. thanks for the great service and we both will be back!

The whole experience was made possible by great bartenders, beer specials on Buffalo Bill game time and good food! Excellent taco tray and greatly improved from the sloppy one we had at least a year ago. The game vibes and friendliness was great!

Not so great. When arrived, the hostess was on a call for a while and didn't apologize for the wait, which I understand but I feel like she should've said something. I had the NYBP Manhattan Mac and the Parmesan truffle fries. This so-called mac & cheese is just noodles and a curdled cream sauce. The sauce had pretty much no cheese flavor and had to season it with salt and pepper. The "bread-topping" was a crumbled Ritz cracker. The truffle fries were just alright. I wish there was less Parmesan. The Parmesan flavor was very overwhelming and that's pretty much all you could taste. Besides the nice texture, the fries got boring very quickly. The bread stick things served with the Mac tasted like chemicals, had to spit it out. The soft pretzel and fried pickle appetizers are great though. Not gonna lie, the lemon rind was better than the main meal. Atmosphere wise, it doesn't really match the food served. Probably won't come again.

Legitimately the worst crab cake I have ever had. It required a steak knife to cut it. Food here is normally great but this was not.

Went for brunch with my cousin since I have gone before and really enjoyed their breakfast pizza. This time it wasn't as good as I remembered but definitely we both still enjoyed although I probably would try something else next time. Our waitress, Nicole, was great and had a wonderful sense of humor. The place is so big and cool looking too. If you haven't checked it out, you should. I definitely will come back again.

NYBP is a true American lifestyle eatery. Spacious, breathable, lively and friendly. I love the pretzel and burgers. Entire staff is friendly but KD, Mike and Sally are all amaizng. They make good drinks and make us feel special. Highly recommend.

The food at NYBP is always great! Such an array of choices and I've yet to go wrong. We stopped in since it was WNY Restaurant Week. Couldn't beat the deal they had. My absolute favorite app there is their huge Mozzarella Logs. (One is already missing from the photo.) They are so delicious. My friend recommended the Buffalo cauliflower, and she didn't lead us astray. Tasted like a good Buffalo boneless wing. For my entree I ordered the seasonal Beef Birria bowl. A good amount of spice. Lots of ramen. The beef was so tender and had so much flavor. Of course we also had some beer and dessert Our server was great. He was so personable, made great suggestions, and cracked some good jokes. We will definitely be back!

    I love the baby "Onesie."

Always delicious food and great service but the acoustics require being very loud to be heard at your own table.

Sat at bar for 10+ minutes, not one server said a word to me. It was busy-ish, but everyone around me got served.

Ask the Community - New York Beer Project

    Do they have dart boards?

No, at least they didn't have any the last time I was there a couple of months ago.

Does NYBP have a kids menu?

YES. There is a children's menu on the kid's place mat. My kids go back and forth ordering off the kids' menu and the adult menu. Boys ages 7.5 and 12 - both love going to the Victor NYBP.

Good but not great…read more The good: cute inside, employees were friendly. The cocktails were delish- had the watermelon mojito and it was fabulous. The octopus was delish and a good portion. The pana cotta and tarte was fantastic. The meh: some of the servers could be dressed more professionally for a "fine dining" restaurant. Everything was over salted. Significantly. There were several dishes we couldn't even finish. Our ribeye was well done (tragic) when we ordered med rare. The server spilled things several times on the table which he was very apologetic for but still.... Nothing was a wow which doesn't match the prices here, not to mention that you get solicited for cash from the people outside the door on the way out which makes it even less worth the drive. Kind of a miss.

Open Air Bar is a solid establishment for anyone who enjoys cold drinks, good people, and sitting around outside pretending they're not checking the time. The drinks were cold enough to make me question whether they have their own weather system behind the bar. I saw the wings. THE WINGS. They looked absolutely fantastic. Did I order them? No. Apparently I enjoy making poor decisions and living with the consequences. So I cannot officially confirm that they taste as good as they looked, but they were putting on a pretty convincing performance from across the room. The patio is great, and the fireplace seating areas is even better. Very comfortable, very relaxing, and an excellent place to sit while wondering if ordering another drink counts as dinner. Everyone has always been friendly the times I've been there, which is becoming increasingly suspicious because I'm not used to establishments where people actually seem happy to see you. Jk jk 5 stars. Would recommend. Would return. Will probably order the wings next time so I can finally complete my investigation.
