I was able to customize my order and didn't feel rushed even though I was there only thirty minutes prior to their closing time. Not wanting to keep them after, however, I packed up a bit too fast and accidentally left a charger plugged into their wall as I was leaving. I didn't realize it until I was almost to Shreveport and I was ultimately on my way back home - all the way in Dallas, TX. I was upset with myself for leaving it, but basically had to write it off as a probable loss. Well, the next day, the owner's husband called me, offering to send my charger through the mail! I felt silly for not thinking of this, but even more, I was so pleasantly surprised by these people's willingness to go way above and beyond for a one-time customer just passing through. He even offered to pay my shipping and let me pay the amount when he knew what that would be. How wonderfully refreshing these rare interactions are in which people go out of their way to do something nice and even go out on a limb of trust for a stranger. They have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, wrap & po'boys to choose from along with sides. They also have a counter with some house made ready to go food. I even saw a big pot of gumbo. I got a TURKEY BLT with no cheese. It comes on a fresh jalapeño cheddar bread that was not spicy - just very good. The turkey was shaved turkey with a healthy topping of bacon & lettuce. The BLT spread seems like a mayo spread with chopped bacon, tomato, & herbs. It was really light and good. My husband loved his SHRIMP PO BOY. He said the breading on the shrimp was delicious & bread was good. Our only regret was not getting fries or onion rings to try. There are several tables to eat i side and a couple right out front. There appeared to be several locals coming in to pick up food while I was waiting about 10-15 minutes for our food. I would highly recommend stopping here to eat vs your average gas station or fast food.

The meaning behind this place is even better. They support the local Teen Challenge Center and employee the girls from there to help them in their journey's to finding their faith and becoming good people. On top of that, they have a great coffee club of older gentlemen that my grandfather attends everyday. They know him well and he helps around the shop. The inside is very warm and inviting. It's like a home that turned into a coffee shop. If you are ever in the area and stop in early you will see the gentleman's coffee club in the corner. They are very friendly and inviting so, stop in and say hi!

Well I placed a mobile order and I accidentally ordered two regular cokes instead of a cherry coke and a regular coke. When we got there to pick up our order, I asked the young lady if she could switch them and she proceeded to tell me that the only reason she was going to do it was because she hadn't made my drinks yet and they are not supposed to change anything on the mobile orders. So I told her never mind don't change anything because she was making it seem like she was going to loose her job over a cherry coke. We waited for our food and a gentleman brought it out instead of her which I found weird as if she was dismissive towards us. Then I get my food home and my fries are burnt also my burgers are extremely dry. So needless to say it will be a while before I return here. Maybe when they get staff that can accommodate their consumers better.
