Great burgers and the truffle fries were outstanding! Cold beer was great too! We really enjoyed our rainy day lunch there.

I was In Town for work and stopped in for dinner. I usually go to the Dallas location near Preston Hollow but this Shreveport location knocked it outta the park! The buns on the burger were so soft and delicious. (Burger was a bit overcooked but still tasty). The milkshakes were amazing. The dining room and restroom was clean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I'm so impressed. Great job to the whole team! read more

let me preface this by saying we are fans of super hot spicy food. (Indian, Mexican, Thai, Cajun, etc) but my wife ordered the Diablo burger and it literally had a pile of sautéed habaneros on top of it (literally at least 2 whole habaneros) that were so unbelievably, unbearably hot that she has blisters on her lips and inside her cheeks. Like I said we eat peppers, we eat Thai (level 3&4 spice) I literally drown everything in hot sauce. but this burger was ridiculously hot. Too hot!! read more

When I first moved to the Spring Lake area, I was excited because I'd heard about the Grub Burger that was down the street from me. Once it became Hopdoddy there was a slight difference but pretty much the same. The burgers are always good. The only issue I have had recently is that the burgers are overly seasoned which is in turn very salty. We tried the Duke today. We usually get the Cadillac Wagyu burger. Same saltiness. Not sure if we can ask for less seasoning but I'll try next time and see. read more

Kind of loud on the inside when i went yesterday but the Goodnight/Good cause burger is pretty good and flavorful...that's not even the type of burger I'd order when id go out for a burger either...fries were hot and crispy and they're served to you as an appetizer while you wait on your burger. I'm in Shreveport and visit the location on 70th st. Folks, this place rocks. Food is always boldly flavored and completely delicious! They do a chicken sandwich that's actually my favorite, but the burgers are awesome too. If you want an unforgettable, elevated burger experience, come here. Great atmosphere too. Feels somewhere between a rock bar and a casual dining experience. I frequently sit at the bar where the service is excellent. Very friendly and welcoming vibes. You can also go through the front counter and get a table. Great option if you're not getting a cocktail, but personally I can't pass on the blazing margarita they do. my favorite burger place. not only is the service great, but the burgers are amazing. my favorite thing about this place is they offer grass fed beef for the burgers from force of nature. i get the goodnight/good cause every time and i'll never stray. the grass fed patty is juicy and the toppings are delicious. my order is always ready on time and nice and warm. the fries are great. but i wish they fried them in tallow or avocado/olive oil! i also wish the ketchup didn't have sugar, but its better than high fructose corn syrup! the bathrooms and main eating area are always super clean, the music is great, and the employees are super friendly. usually come here every week or so. im looking forward to my next burger ;) read more

Decided to eat our Easter lunch at a restaurant I had not tried. We ordered different burgers, but a big bowl of fries to be shared. We elected to drink sodas, and a booth- like table was assigned, so as Judy made our drinks, I mixed ketchup and chipotle to create a spicy day for our giant bowl of delicious fries. Burgers were juicy and delicious,explaining why each table had a much needed roll of paper towels. Prices were as expected as a Buffalo burger was a few dollars more than a fast food burger. First off-the food is great. Much improved over when they first opened. Not a fan of the order THEN get a seat model. Whatever. It's okay. Here's what works 1) freshly baked bread 2) Innovative burger choices 3) sloppy burgers. I love a messy burger and I have the mushroom with pesto 4) they offer a daily happy hour. What could improve: 1) The bread could be stronger. Yeah it was toasted but couldn't hold up to my toppings. 2) The patty size wasn't equitable for the bun size 3) No bottled craft soda as the menu listed. This really mattered as we were enduring a boil advisory 4) Lay off some salt on the parm truffle fries 5) Season the actual beef patty. My brother said the aroma In the air smelled better than the burger tasted. I felt bad for him and them when he said that but I think they are relying on the sauces and toppings to give you the flavor or watching out for medical patients that can't take salt. First time to eat here. The bun texture and taste is amazing. The taste and flavorfulness of the burger patty was amazing. My burger was cooked by their default medium well. It's pretty much grub. Same basic idea same structure. If you didn't tell me where I was I would say grub. I've been hesitant to try cause I didn't like the reviews, but after they went out of thier way to make sure the Lineman had burgers we wanted to try it. It was good, not amazing but it's worth a try. My burger was good, the fries we good no overly salty like a lot of reviews but I can see where it's easy to get carried away fast with the salt. If salt is your thing, this is your place. Way over salted and overpriced. Friendly service, but slow. I do appreciate that they have vegan options, but the burgers are small and far too salted. No other seasoning. They have vegan cheese but forgot to put it on my burger. I added mushrooms, but got just a sprinkling. There was a thick layer of salt in the bottom of the bowl of sweet potato fries. From the looks of other Yelp reviews, others have experienced this salt issue, too. Having a tough time getting a consensus of where to eat with a large group? Hop Daddy's is the perfect place to grab a meal. A large group of us stopped by to grab an early dinner. Everyone ordered something different off the menu, and every single person said the food was amazing. The burger bowls are a great choice for those that don't want the carbs from bread. I did order a #GlutenFree burger for myself, and it was as served and stacked up on a toasted gluten free bun. it was juicy and perfectly cooked. Most importantly, they didn't cross-contaminate my dinner and I've lived to review the restaurant. The shareable fries are excellent. Crisp shoe-string style fries that very tasty and served piping hot. Several people ordered beer from the bar - ice cold - and one of us ordered Old Fashions - which were apparently mixed to perfection. The soda products had the right mix of syrup amd carbonation. We just moved to Shreveport from Phoenix and we were happy to see there is a HopDoddy here. The day we came in we had our dog with us so we sat on the patio. A young man promptly greeted us and brought our dog a water bowl. While ordering, he made a suggestion that I substitute Brussel sprouts for lettuce (I was getting a salad). His suggestion was spot on! The food arrived quickly and was the same good quality that we knew from the Phoenix location. The one big difference here is the staff...they were all so friendly here!! I commend the person who is leading this team because they are doing something right. As for the food, the burger-salads were amazing as were the sweet potato fries. One of the reasons I love HopDoddy is their unique burger selections. I also like that they serve Force of Nature regenerative beef. If you've never eaten here, you need to check this location out! Hopdoddy is the brainchild brought to you by Austin restauranteurs Chuck Smith, Larry Perdido and Larry Foles. The menu includes delicious and well thought out burgers, fries shakes and salads. My favorite are Buffalo Bill burger, Parmesan, truffle fries, and salted caramel milkshake! The manager Jess is absolutely incredible. She's very hospitable and thorough and takes well care of the restaurant. This review was written after my third visit to this location, seven months after they took over the Grub Burger Bar spot, they had some issues in the beginning, but they have gotten well past the "openings" hurdle and are doing extremely well.
