Very good fish and chips. Fresh, had the Haddock, decent price. Had a small wait for it to be ready

The food was amazing but the cleanliness of the restaurant blew us away. Definitely a hidden gem.

What a lovely local business!…read more Family owned and cute spot with great service. We came in for dinner and were not disappointed. Ordered the fish and chips obviously - one haddock and one cod. Upgraded my side to their chowder and we got a side of mushy peas. I have absolutely no complaints because i think they do it right. Chips are fresh cut fries and the fish is battered well- not oily and super crispy. We got to chat with our waitress who told us they're pretty particular with the fish they bring into the store and after eating it i believe it. We also had some leftover to take home. I need to try the Orange roughy one of these days when they have it in, because it's not everyday you see that as an option. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

But after so many times doing takeout it only happened once, so not bad at all. Halibut: 4.75/5 crispy and then soft inside. Yum. Sometimes could be a little more tender but most times we have ordered it was perfect. Chowder: 6/5 So good. So much flavour. Mushy peas: 7/5 How do they make it like that?! Never will peas taste that good. Chips: 5/5 Great chips! And excellent gravy to accompany. Onion rings: 4.5/5 Pretty good! Sometimes the batter is a little consistent but they are good overall. Highly recommend!

In addition to their regular menu, they also post weekly specials to their Facebook page. Located behind the Ferris wheel, and opened on Saturdays and Sundays only from 12-6 PM (as of August 2023). Counter service with no inside seating but there is some outdoor seating. They accept cash or card. Friendly service. We got there as they opened so they were still in the midst of baking their pies, but we didn't mind walking around the Olcott shops to pass the time. A pie or pasty with a toffee pudding will fill you up. I had the cheese and onion pasty and a sticky toffee pudding and both were very tasty! I came with a friend who ordered 4 pies (she ate the chicken curry pie there and took the rest home). Worth the trip from Amherst.

The flakes were clinging to my lips when I bit the sausage roll... it could be a new fashion trend. Oh, and can't forget about the mashed potatoes, which are REAL homemade mashed mmmm, mmmm! I think I may have gained five pounds, but it was definitely worth it. Next in my sights is their scone with clotted cream; gotta keep my open for next time they have it.
