We have been to other fruit stands in hotter areas that use a misting system to keep the interior at least 10 to 20° cooler without any moisture or water on the floor. Speaking for ourselves, we would spend more time shopping if the temperatures were more pleasant don't need AC, but just something to kind of break the temperature a bit. A high pressure misting system would keep the employees more comfortable and the shoppers and results. They'd probably spend more money. Next time we go, we're gonna buy the girls shorts so I can keep cool.

The staff is always so kind, super sweet and helpful. I've had so many good conversations! I do a lot of canning and I make a lot of pepper jelly and fruit jam, WITH the produce J&J Ramos farms harvest. It's always the best experience when we come out here.

I am actually amazed that I never reviewed it as I've been buying mostly stone fruits from them over the years. Most notably, with the season about to start, white peaches and white nectarines have long been on my shopping list when they're here. They appeared the final Saturday in April with cherries and the 1st crop of yellow peaches and nectarines. I bought a few for friends but have yet to try myself. I did try their Tioga cherries (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=STL_d-KiMZ9EpkmBLsMr0w) which were the 1st of the season. I'm sure that they will progressively get sweeter. I am looking forward to the white peaches and white nectarines to come in. The other crops that I enjoy from them include plums, apriums, pluots, and, later in the season, persimmons, especially the soft hachiyas. I was happy to see their stand at the foot of the south driveway across from Wise Sons. It is always very nice to see Lisa and several of their regular staff members from past seasons. I will be seeing you a lot more through the summer months. And yes, stone fruits are here now.

I would say about 1/2 to 2/3 of the market is produce and the rest are the other types of vendors. I love that there is always good deals for fresh fruits and vegetables at the market and everything is reasonably priced while still getting to support local vendors. All the vendors are friendly and helpful when buying from them. There is a large variety of unique veggies including ones we see in most big-chain grocery stores but also more unique Asian veggies and unique mushroom varieties. I highly reccomend stopping by if you get the chance!
