Excellent quality product, Got the shifter for my KTM, great for people with big feet for sure, having the extended shift lever option. Highly recommended, great vendor. However it all went wrong when my wedding party entered the restaurant. The first sign that we made a mistake was the stench of machine oil in the air. I don't like my in-laws very much so I figured, what the hell, if the food sucks, they can deal with it. When the server finally arrived (it took forever), we had to speak like children to get the idea across that we were waiting on menus all this time. I told him that we found them on Yelp! and were here for the amazing food. Well, it didn't stop there. In what seemed like forever, the server finally returned with the "menus". He had basically scrawled a Domino's Pizza menu, verbatim, on some cardboard box flaps with a grease pencil. It was the type of grease marker that you might find in a machine shop, not at all something you would expect from a fancy restaurant. It really felt like he just wanted to be rid of us. We finally placed our order, but the party had to figure out our own seating. Using an assortment of milk crates, stacked cardboard shipping containers and pickle buckets, we figured out the seating. At this point, we were all so hungry that we didn't really have a choice. After all of that the pizza was simply terrible, it arrived in 45 minutes and we still had to pay full price (I'm fighting the charge with Visa right now). The cheese tasted like molten wax paper and the sauce, hot ketchup. It could not be worse. Whatever you do, don't come here for the food. The forged shift levers are amazing though. read more

I have two shifters, one for my CRFX 450. My boot size is a 14 the extension provided for shifting has in creased my single track time by minutes, hammerhead allows me to concentrate on the twist and turns and not foot placement for shifting. The hammerhead shifter for the WR-250 same extension for size 14, happy ass racing, the crew I ride single tracks/ hair scrambles, my riding has improved by leaps and bounds not only the step down in bike, but my confidence knowing hammerhead takes the guesswork out of foot placement and ease of shifting . I LOVE MY HAMMERHEAD SHIFTER. Every rider on the Mcct/tomahawk trails that I encounter, if they don't already have one. I tell them all about my experience with it. Keep in mind I receive nothing for my words of praise. What I do receive from hammerhead is stress free ride after stress free ride. My next purchase is foot pegs for the two bikes. You make great products, I have choices and your product is always my pick because of quality. I also believe you are out front when it comes to "fit" related to shift and brake levers, however I don't think you go far enough with brake pedals. You give a lot of adjustment with shift levers but as an example KTM brake pedals are way to short with anyone with larger (not giant) feet. This is true with my KTM 2016 MX bike and my 1190R Adventure bike. I Have your complete pedal and different tips, not near enough adjustment but better than stock. Way shorter than my Yamaha MX, and now it looks like KTM 2017 are a little longer, proof it was needed. Thanks love your stuff. read more

"I have a Hammerhead shifter installed on my KTM. I liked the extended tip which helped make room for my size 13 boots. No more missed shifts! I managed to fall and break the shifter. Hammerhead covered the replacement under warranty. Very Cool! Years passed...I broke the shifter again and now a replacement was no longer in production. EEK! They managed to find a used one laying around and sold it to me at a discounted price. I think they are making further production runs just in case I manage to break another one. I found the web site easy to navigate and the correct products easy to find. I have the shift lever on both a Honda 250 CRFL and a BMW 1200 GS. Both have seen a lot of off-pavement and I have not bent or broken a shift lever since the replacement. Product was shipped quickly and I got what I ordered. I heard good stuff about Hammerhead Designs so I bought one of their folding shift levers for my Ducati Hypermotard. The lever is strong and works well, installed easily with no fuss. It is great that they offer a choice of lever length (on the folding part). I wear size 11 street boots and the medium size fits perfect. Quality grade A company really stands by their product. I bent my shifter in a crash and live close by so I stoped by to get a replacement, they gave me a brand new replacement one no charge! Bought Hammerhead's folding shift lever for my 2007 BMW R1200GS about two years ago, after I broke the original when I clipped a high curb. It fit and works as well as the OEM part, with the added benefit that the toe lever folds back to help prevent damage. Quality is excellent, and the price is way less than BMW OEM.
