Naan, which should be soft, warm, and slightly crisp on the edges, was instead leathery and overly chewy, almost as if it had been sitting out far too long. The Thali was supposed to include chicken biryani and chicken curry, but both dishes missed the mark entirely. The chicken served was dark thigh meat, which in itself isn't an issue when cooked right--but here, it lacked any depth or proper preparation. More disappointing was the complete absence of flavor. Indian cuisine is known for its rich layers of spices and aromas, but everything on the plate felt bland and lifeless, as if the spices were an afterthought rather than the heart of the dish. Adding to the disappointment, the interior decor felt very dated and gloomy, lacking the warmth or vibrancy you'd hope for in a dining space. The bathrooms were also filthy, which only made the overall experience worse. Having dined at several Indian restaurants, we know what a good Thali should taste like--balanced, vibrant, and satisfying. This was none of that.
