It was due to unfortunate circumstances that we had business with Hamner Towing today, but we couldn't be more grateful that it turned out to be them. When an inconsiderate neighbor had us towed in our OWN apartment, because he/she parked in our own slot, Hamner handled it with such grace and integrity. We're especially grateful for Wade, the manager in charge today who really went above and beyond to assist us in getting our car back. He and his team (it was Gerry & Stephanie with him in the office, I believe) really made the process so smooth and worry-free. Especially after the ordeal we went through. When the guy came out he was too lazy to put a spare. he said the truck was drivable with one tire PSI at 15 and still losing pressure from the huge audible leak. Told him I didn't feel safe or comfortable driving that way with kids in the car and he still said cancel your call and drive to a tire shop.... he couldn't even change the tire knowing I had another one there. On 9/26/2024 between my nephew's wedding in Lake Arrowhead and the dinner reception to be held in Norco, I was at Sam's Club Corona to do some shopping. After loading my purchase into my vehicle, a nice young woman informed me that I had a flat tire. I quickly called the Auto Club for help. I then called my husband to inform him of my situation. He was a little upset because we had recently talked about buying a tire kit as our hybrid CRV does not contain a spare tire. Ray Nazari from Hamner showed up to assist. He asked me if I was okay. As per your reply "You were offered other options when you first came down to the office by the office manager. You declined and then returned days later and was surprised that storage fees accumulate daily. We found the linkage was in need of repair and had nothing to do with our service according to the operator based on how he towed it. Yet we fixed it the the following day at no charge to you." I was offered a different option ON EACH trip I took in (3-4 total, never offered all options up front. I was not "surprised" storage fees accumulated daily, your employee told me I Could forfeit my vehicle as payment and not once mentioned it continues to rack storage fees AFTER I sign my car over (also printed NOWHERE on the lean paperwork or a single document given to me by your staff, they also verbally agreed it was not listed. Not to mention after I made my decision and came in to pay, she then offered me yet ANOTHER option I was never offered before. You did not do me a favor fixing my linkage, it was not broken previous to you taking the car and Your employee MARK said himself it was broken and fixed it himself (he also stated it probably happened due to the way it was towed), as your front desk lady told me it was never broken and just needed to be put together, more misconception and lies as you now again claim it needed to be fixed. Not to mention you failed to reply to your companies employees lying over the phone to avoid hard work. Its VERY CLEAR the type of scam this entire operation is. read more

I used Hamner Towing twice this week through AAA and both times the service was amazing. First Mark had to pick up my car from a parking lot and bring it to my home and he was super helpful assuring us everything was fine and telling us exactly what to do to get it out of the parking spot and onto the truck (it didn't run). He also got there super fast and was so nice! After having it sit at home through Easter since nothing was open Richard came back and towed it to a shop for me. I was rushing home from work since he got there so fast and he told me to relax and drive safe and he would be there waiting. He was super kind to my fiancé and I both and got the car to the shop in no time. Called to have a car moved from Corona to Redondo Beach, and was quoted about 1.5 hours since they were very busy, it turned out to be almost 3 hours but they did keep us updated. Hamner was "part 2", after a tow was done by a different company that had been dispatched by AAA to for a blown out truck tire on a very congested part of the 91 fwy. This was on Sunday afternoon and, without getting into more detail (a different problem, different company) that driver towed me to my residence in Corona and said I should call AAA again to get someone to come and take care of the tire change. I did so a few minutes later, and Hamner was dispatched this time. The driver, Ezra, got there earlier than projected and he was great. He had a really good attitude/cheerful, took care to block the tires (on a sloping driveway), and to explain the under-truck spare cage set up as he let it down (letting me feel the pressure involved in raising/lowering it), put the blown tire back in the cage and sweep up debris afterwards. A little communication could have went A Long way. I called them the day before to schedule a pick up for the following day of my work truck. We agreed a driver would be on site at 8 am. The day of the pick up no one was on site at 8 am, I waited till 8:15 before I called, figured there was traffic. I was told the tow truck broke down and another will be dispatched. Ok, no problem, things happen. Was told drive should be on site in 10 minutes, great. Driver shows up at 9 am, that was a LONG 10 minutes, and I had to call back twice trying to get an actual ETA. As we all know time is money and I have already wasted an hour of my work day. I called for battery service, I either needed a jump or a new battery and I was under the impression that Hamner Towing would've let me know what I needed befor he left (wrong) . I drive a Prius plug-in 2015 . Super complicated for the average Jerry however I figured if your job is battery service then 1 would be well versed in the battery category, right ?!? This place is a joke! My car was parked for 10 minutes while unloading my groceries after taking my cat to the vet, my cat was still in the car while i was unloading when they towed it with my cat still inside. when we went to get her we were laughed at, the guys were fighting with each other having to pull each other off. One was vaping in front of us laughing like it was a joke a living being was scared in the car. I asked repeatedly to see her to make sure she was okay they wouldnt let me, they could visibly see I was crying and very worried and they didn't care. There was one extremely respectful man who allowed me to finally check on her but everyone else was rude, condescending, unprofessional, and I would never go back again. These people are very unprofessional and need to be fired or this place needs to be shut down. They dont give a shit about customers just about money.
