Terrible Service. Gave our reservations away after reserving a month in advance and A follow up call a week before the event. If you can book anywhere else please do yourself a favor. The hotel is alright, however for the price you're paying it should be better. My family and I stayed for 3 nights at the double bed suit with sofa bed. Pros: Nice atmosphere, good breakfast (different main entrees each day), big room, helpful and nice costumer service from all the staff, location is near everything you might think of (for very stores, restaurants and food, gas stations, malls). Cons: THERE IS NO hot tub (false advertising it on pictures), the pool seemed dirty and with a LOT of chlorine (everyone's eyes hurt and were red after 20 minutes), really small gym with old equipment. Overall, I would give this place another try if I'm in the area and see how that experience is in order to either add or subtract ratings. read more

The staff is very nice. The rooms are run down, literally pieces of tile falling off the wall in the bathroom. Smallest towels I've seen in a hotel. They have no towels in the pool area, and the front desk says there are no clean towels to give out. This is at 9:00 at night. The fitness center is good, but the water machine is either empty or broken. The water crock in the hallway has been empty all day. When I mentioned it to the front desk staff they reminded me that I could buy water from their little snack area. Really??? It's an ok place to stay the night if you are traveling through, but don't expect anything above average. read more

The hotel itself is nice, clean and the staff was friendly. Pulled in late Saturday night (almost midnight) and check in was quick but there was a weird guy lurking in the front of the hotel that came up to the car and when he saw I had 2 sleeping kids with me he backed up and walked away. Not sure what that was all about but we told Leo and he went out to take a look... not sure if the outcome. It's in a good location for travelers, near a big shopping center and a lot of restaurants. Directly across the street from a MiLB baseball stadium. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn fare. I will say that housekeeping was great and she made sure to get us extra pillows and linens! read more

I was looking for a decent place to stay while I went to driving school at Willow Springs. After searching online, on Yelp and other sites, it seemed like there weren't any decent, affordable places to stay in the area. Fortunately I came across Hampton Inn in Lancaster. It's just off the freeway but you can't hear the rushing cars. I loved this hotel. It was so clean and everything in it seemed new. It has an indoor pool and jacuzzi as well as a small fitness center which only has a couple of treadmills, weights and an elliptical machine but it was empty when I went. And the beds are sooo comfortable with soft sheets. The bedroom comes with a huge LCD screen TV and the shower is roomy and clean. Also, most important, wifi is free and accessible in your room. Just ask the front desk for the code. I also liked how there's a sweets shop where you can buy some Ben & Jerry's ice cream, cookies, etc. And Arrowhead water bottles are just $1.50. Cheaper than I usually find in hotel mini bars. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the breakfast selection which was waffles, sausages, some cereal and a limited fruit selection. Meh. I'd definitely stay here again. BTW, if you're going to the track and stay here, you get a track discount which is cheaper than the AAA discount! read more

Yesterday night I called here looking to book a room and was greeted by an Employee named Amy which proceeded to tell me the room rates and I started to book a room and I mentioned to her that I wanted the Yelp discount they are currently advertising and she flat out tells me that she's fairly certain that they don't have such an offer available. I asked her if she could call a manager or just check herself on a phone or computer to verify the advertised offer here on Yelp and again she tells me she doesn't need to check because she's certain they don't offer a 15% off discount on yelp. At this point I'm so frustrated I just booked elsewhere. This employees unwillingness to verify a simple fact speaks volumes to me as what kind of service I would be expecting here if I would of booked here. I'll NEVER use this place. read more

Front desk didn't understand how a group of people could need to reserve more than one room at once (shocking concept I know who could imagine 6 people need 3 rooms?!? My family was in town for a soccer tournament. My husband is a coach and I am the team manager. I am also disabled. We are Hilton Honors members as we travel quite extensively for soccer and for work. We are both published authors of hiking and travel guides. When I booked our room through Hilton Honors I let them know that I am disabled. I also let them know we were traveling with service animals. I requested a property that was animal friendly. The reservation agent at Hilton Honors reserved a room for us in a handicapped room. We stayed or first night, Friday night without incident. When we checked in the person at the front desk did not offer us the usual complimentary water at check in so we had to ask for the water. On our second night we decided to let the kids swim and we sat in the hot tub for about an hour. When we returned to our room our key did not open our door. I was dripping wet in my swimsuit and had to go downstairs to find out what was going on with our key. The two people at the front desk said they locked us out because they heard dogs in our room! Really? You lock a disabled person out of their room because you heard dogs at 8pm it was not even late at night?! I explained that I am disabled hence the disabled accessible room and I have all documentation to prove my disability. Furthermore I notified the staff that I booked my room thru Hilton Honors and that I notified them I was traveling with service animals and I requested a pet friendly hotel if available. The Hilton property next door is pet friendly. The clerk said Hilton Honors reservations "never tells them when to expect service animals and they likely made a mistake and should have put us in the property next door. The clerk made us s new key and sent us back to our room! Without an apology for locking us out of our room and for mistreating a disabled guest. I was very dissatisfied with this stay. They treat disabled guests like second class citizens and violate ADA compliance and basic property law. Hoteliers cannot lock a paying guest out of their room because they suspect dogs. They must first give the guest a chance to explain since they complained about the lack of communication between Hilton Honors reservations and reservations thru the property. There is no excuse for this horrible treatment. Their advertisement says "if you're not satisfied you don't pay" frankly I think we should get a refund and compensation for the humiliation they subjected us to and discriminating against us because I am disabled! I've been staying there a few times a year for more than a decade. I understand reduced services like no hot breakfast (though the breakfast bag was worthless). However, not showing in my reservation or at checkout was a $22 parking fee. I called several times to get it reversed but the calls were never returned. There is unlimited parking a few hundred feet behind the hotel in a sprawling shopping mall. They've just lost a 15 year customer and it doesn't reflect well on the Hilton Honors program either. read more

The place was sold out and he said he couldn't do anything about because we didn't have a reservation . He did nothing on the computer until I had to call hotel.com and tell him we had a reservation. Unfortunately this place has switched owners again & it's outrageous the amount of $$$ they want for their banquet room. Literally raiaed their prices over 100% basically overnight. Years of Loyalty doesn't sway them at all, local small business owner, classes for Notaries to serve the community, none of that matters now. I no longer recommend this place in the middle of the desert that stays busy & therefore plays the game of lets see how high we can continually keep raising our prices. There's many options here in the AV dont choose Hampton Inn. Often air conditioners dont work & no longer is the AV S best. read more

My husband and I happened to be in town for an overnight stay to see a comedian at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. We needed a hotel that was close to the location and downtown. I was ecstatic to find a Hampton Inn that close as we have only had wonderful experiences at every Hampton Inn we've stayed at in the past-this was no exception. Pros: Friendly staff who is always helpful and welcoming, with attention to detail. All room aspects were explained to us, as well as, some of the amenities. Check-in was quick. Room was extremely clean, well kept and smelled lovely. The bed was heavenly. Lots of in-room amenities: microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, swivel TV, desk with free wi-fi & personal password. Shower was great, all shower goodies (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash, soaps) were perfect amounts and worked great. Nothing to complain about. Close to everything..I think the longest we drove to get anywhere was 8 minutes. Next to the 14 freeway, but you can't hear anything from it...nice. Cons: It's next to what appears to have been a booming outlet mall/shopping center. Most of the stores are now empty, with a few gems still remaining (but not many). At least hubby was excited about the Harbor Freight being so close. If we are ever in Lancaster again, this will be our only destination to stay. It literally felt like we walked into our home bedroom. The breakfast was ah-maz-ing! We had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs...coffee was wonderful!!! Had some of the muffins too, all good stuff. It was honestly a refreshing experience...hubby said that he hasn't had such a relaxing and wonderful weekend like that in a while. Worth every penny. read more

Had the perfect stay, I stayed for three nights and four days. Checked in around 10pm Thursday night without a hassle, everything went smooth. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, not noisy at all. It wasn't very hard finding a parking either, I was a little worried about staying here since I had heard Lancaster wasn't a good area but everything went perfect. I stayed with my boyfriend and friend and one of the nights we ended up getting back to the room late and decided we wanted to go night swimming, the front desk person was super cool and nice and allowed us to go as long as we were quite. Sunday came around and we called for a late check out due to lack of sleep and they extended it an hour which was awesome. Monday came around and I received a call from a Tracy who said a maintenance guy found my MacBook I had left there. They shipped it out for me without a hassle. Overall I 100% recommend. read more

Booked this place because we had track at Willow Springs the next day. Booking was super easy and they even let us do online early check-in. Everything went pretty smooth. Their living room area was spacious and check-in counter was easily accessible. Booked a room with two twin beds, average in room size, decent shower area, but loved that they had a mini fridge as we had food and drinks that needed cold space. (Ended up not working as well as we thought, drinks were only a bit cold when we took it out the next morning). Beds were comfortable and we were also provided with free breakfast the next day (breakfast quality was mediocre at best). We were well rested and fed, nothing much to complain about except the intense chlorine smell from the pool. It permeated through the elevator that we were using through out the day and it was no strong it hurt my nose and made my eyes water. Parents of kids apparently also don't wipe their kids' feet down or make them wear slippers because the entire elevator floor and back entrance where we parked our car was a trail/puddles of water. Definitely need to be careful not to slip. read more

I stayed here this past week for a work trip and I enjoyed staying here so much. Dion at the front desk on the night shift is the best! He was so helpful in everything that we needed. When we asked for breakfast before the time of breakfast, because we had to leave super early for work, he prepared a box meal for us. In the box meal that he made for us the second day, he wrote a nice note! Big fan of him and hospitality in Vegas would love him!! Also Crystal on the early morning shift was really nice to us too! There wasn't any housekeeping on any of the days that I was staying there, but that's not always necessary. Overall a very good experience in this hotel! read more

I hate to give a bad review so I'll start with great breakfast and coffee in the lobby. Very clean and neat. Ok that was the good, now the bad. We arrived to find out the elevator was not working and we were on the second floor. Now I came with my daughter and granddaughtets and we were in a suite. Now they could have accomodated just me on the first floor but I came to be with my family and they did not have a room downstairs that could accomodate the 4 of us. Second, I have a cardiomyopathy and have had a heart attack and have an implanted defibrillator, I get very short of breath with any exertion. So I literally struggled the 2 days I was there climbing up the stairs and by Sunday...still no elevator. If I had known that I would have made arrangements to stay at another hotel. Went for the day and came back to this. Room not cleaned, bed not made, and trash overflowing. They claimed that the do Not disturb sign was in the door and it wasn't. Not only that, last night in the middle of the night the fire alarm went off and woke me up at 1am. If you are on the lower floors you can hear people walking above you. Manager and front desk clerk was not helpful at all. They looked like they were in their early 20s with no customer service experience. If I can give them a rating below 1 I would. Small rooms , thermostats on the walls do not work have to run heat or air conditioning manually, door in the bathroom wants to drift itself closed must prop to keep open, feather pillows in my opinion or horrible, the free breakfast darn sure should be free because it was lousy I would not recommend this to anybody pay another 20 bucks stay in a better place read more

Extremely disappointed with this place. I'm booked here for a month for work. First off, their elevator doesn't work, I had to lug a months worth of luggage upstairs. I've had to have my key card remade three times because I couldn't get into my room. They were an hour late bringing breakfast out. Their fridges do not have any freezer part. The staff is rude, I asked for shampoo at the front desk and he gives me 4 bottles of bath gel and conditioner, I ask again and he brings me more bath gel, then later tells me he has no shampoo, that he'll check in the stock room later. I go back downstairs because my card didn't work again and he's sitting on the couch watching tv and doesn't mention shampoo. When I ask him he said they have none. I say "how do you guys restock rooms every morning?" He says "good question." And continues watching tv. They also enter your room when you have the do no disturb sign out. This is my 3rd day here, hopefully I've seen the worst. Save your sanity... Stay somewhere else. read more

I know everything is different due to this crazy virus that our family members dying! My bf and came out for a dear family members funeral. The service was trash, when we got here the man at front gladly explained everything to the gentleman in front of us. Let him know the facilities are closed, such as pool, fitness cent due to COVID, where and what time the complimentary breakfast was. We got non of that! Also we told him we had family coming with the same last name and we would to be on the same floor. He said ok then when they came he still put them on a different floor. Now at this point its ok some times things don't work out, but this man waited for us to pack all our stuff on the cart to go to our room, to tell us the ELEVATOR IS OUT OF ORDER! The room was on the 3rd floor. They said it should be the next day. Our whole stay it was not working. Then for some reason our keys didn't work. Instead of calling us and letting us know we had to stop by the front to get a new one. They let us walk up 3 flights of stairs to have to all the way back to get another key. At this point I'm pissed, this is our 3rd day here! They elevators still not working! On top of that the ice machine didn't work either! When I ask what can be done about my 70 year old mom walking up 3 flights of stairs, the guy at the front says here is 2 bottles of water and a bag of cookies! I am not sure what is going on at this hotel but its not a place to stay right now! I am highly upset ! read more

This is a very good hotel within a couple of miles of the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster where we saw a concert. We got a king suite with a nice couch, and swiveling flat screen tv. Very clean. Nice big room. The A/C was pretty loud, and woke us up when it cycled on. Other than that, the room was perfect. Good breakfast included. read more
