Great hotel to be your home away from home. They maintain it clean, the lobby has many tables where you can bring your food and enjoy them. Not to mention they offer complimentary HOT breakfast! Variety of drinks and snacks. Rooms are clean and staff is ready to help with anything needed. Centrally located, mall is a few miles away and so is Target and many other stores. To be cleaned properly I had stay there for one night with my 2 Granddaughter's and the room was so dirty I tried to call the front desk put there was no answer there was toothpaste still in the sink front the previous guests and the phones were so dusty the floors were very dirty I had to wet a towel and clean the floors my self the bathtub walls had what looked like mold or so much dirt it was not a good night read more

We decided to try a different stay other than the element across when we visit family im palmdale. We had better expectations considering this hotel was just recently opened. It was 4 of us, two adults and two kids. The room is pretty small which is tolerable, but there was a leak in the shower so everytime we used it, water was escaping from the inside to the outside on the corner. There was no dishsoap to use to wash some items we brought which was weird because usually there is dishsoap at every stay we been in since they do have dishes in the room and in case you don't use the dishwasher. The light in the closet kept blinking throughout the night lol. We didnt notice these things until the next day and we had unpacked or otherwise, we would have requested a different room. In other words, not sure if we'll stay here again but the staff was very nice and bfast was OK. Somewhat better than element tho lol read more

Staff: Everyone here was super nice. I have nothing but nice thoughts about them. Quality: Good: The hotel itself is really nice. It is modern, has a really nice gym, includes breakfast, is pet friendly, and has a pool and lounge area outside. Bad: The check in process was absolutely torture. It literally took 32 mins just to begin the check in process and I was the 4th person in line. Why? Well we arrived at 345 with checkin being at 3. The rooms were not ready and rather than have you come back, they instead asked you to stay at the counter until the room was ready. This required the employee to refresh her screen and look for a room. Again I have never waited remotely close to this long. Now this we a majorly busy weekend due to a softball tournament so they deserve a little grace. They do get extra praise as I saw the general manager working on preparing rooms. One of the elevators was broken the whole 3 days and the one working one was REALLY slow. This one ended up breaking and couldn't be called from outside the elevator. The breakfast offering was pretty good but the hotel should have better planned for such a busy weekend as they ran out of food, cups, bowls, and silverware. They had coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, pre made egg sandwiches, yogurt, toast, bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, and of course everyone's favorite waffle maker where you pour in the batter and have to flip it over at the midway point. The coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available all day long. The couch bed when opened had some hair on the mattress cover, no sheet, no blanket, and no pillows. This required me to go downstairs to get them. Value: The price was greatly increased due to being a softball tournament for the whole state so it ended up being pretty expensive. This ended up being about 3xs the normal price. Location: Great location right off the freeway with tons of food options near by. The hotel is really clean and well taken care of. Pro tip: There is no grass so prepare for your dog to use dirt which may take some time to get used to. Overall: I like this place and would return in the future. read more

Check in staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Lobby appeared clean and fresh. Coffee and tea bar always open. Although sharing some drawbacks.... Mystery hairs in the shower. Had to clean them out myself...?! The shower looked a little grubby... . Dishwasher had dishes in it, on the last day there, I peeked inside and saw a piece of the dishwasher that did not look quite right... The thermostat pad is old and hard to get the desired room temperature. The headboard smelled nasty; had to wipe down with my antibacterial wipes. Upon entering the room it smelled either of food or something weird...?! TV is glitchy even on local channels like the LA news.... I gave up and turned off.... There were plenty of towels.... I have stayed here more than a dozen times and haven't taken the time yet to write a review. The staff are definitely amazing. Anastasia and her team are terrific! I like having the full-size refrigerator and kitchenette, even though I don't necessarily take advantage of everything. I have always found the rooms clean and although I don't always eat the breakfast, I've always found something that I could grab and go. Staff gets 5 stars. Okay so I'm going to be honest here. The rooms are pretty drab The colors they used and furniture stuff. The bed is really comfortable memory foam. The carpeting is dirty and has stains on it. The tiles in the bathroom are a little bit dirty just needs a better cleaning. Now here's what I don't understand unlike other places where there's a little table to sit and eat on with your significant other or your kids if they're with you. They don't have that here yet there's a little kitchen with the microwave and plates and glasses and forks and knives and everything with your refrigerator. So why is there not an extra chair or two in here because you can pull like a computer table out from under a counter. But again how does two or three people sit down to eat in this place when there's no table to eat on So the candy and chips and stuff they sold downstairs is out of control overpriced. The pool areas really nice The lobby areas really nice. But considering this is a Hilton property the carpeting is stained and tattered. And what's funny is this price is the same price if not more than Marriott properties just like this. Breakfast is disappointing, every table at 830am was dirty ! I won't stay in one of these Home1 Suite properties again ! The hot stuff are egg sandwichs & weird Egg souffle bacon & cheese they were yuck, I took one bite & pushed them away. Bagles and cream cheese were good. My girlfriend says the oatmeal is so so, It was really watery and cold so the girl will do the breakfast bar She heated it up for her in the microwave. The orange juice is great, 24hr coffee bar has great coffee. Now we travel a real lot. We travel as a family, And I travel on business. First stay here but we will be back. Very friendly staff, new and clean. Large self park lot, no fee for parking! Very nice breakfast, internet was super fast. This is a very new and clean hotel, even the pull put bed was comfy. I love the colors and mid-century modern design, very helpful details like a curved desk that pulls out to become a full dining table and a little mini desk that pulls out of the nightstand. Very nice toiletries and I like the lights and a/c only turn on when you have your card in the wall. Very nice full size fridge and freezer combo. I especially liked there was a curtain you could pull between the bed area and where the pull out bed was (my 18 year sleeps quite a bit later-so I didn't wake him up when I turned the lights on my side on). This is an excellent location within walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery store and Palmdale Regional Hospital. It's a 5 minute drive to the mall. I really enjoyed this hotel stay! They also have a 24 hour coffee/tea bar and a nice location to hang out in. There is a pool, which looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use this time. read more

The thing that you notice the most about a Quality Business is the level of service. This often is because they are good at LISTENING to the customer. I appreciate Above and Beyond Great Customer Service. I wasn't planning to stay in Palmdale, but car problems led me here , and a pleasant stay at Home 2 Suites. Had to literally book this room last minute because our AirBnB host mysteriously "got covid" the day before our trip. *insert eye roll emoji* Found this on Southwest.com and booked a suite for one night for $254 ($279w/tax)--normally more than I'd like to pay for a hotel room but they tossed in 4k bonus points. So, yeah... #sucker ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The Good: *Super-fast wifi! Check out my screenshot. This is also the "free" wifi that came with the room. Don't bother spending the extra $4 for their upgraded service. *Fridge, microwave and dishwasher (they also have a hot plate you can borrow upon request) *Pool & Fitness rooms were open with limited capacity and reservation required. *Water pressure was just OK but the water was super hot! I usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, but they were sold out during my visit. I booked my stay here, and must say it was a blessing in disguise! The staff here are amazing and accommodating. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out I received unequalled and excellent customer service. The rooms are nice, plenty of restaurants nearby, and parking was easy. We had a pleasant stay. I'm giving 4 stars because our shower wasn't clean. I found men hair on the shower walls and it didn't seem clean at all. However, the rest of the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, TV was awesome. I really liked their coffee and I also liked that they have been offering cleaner shower products with no harmful chemicals in them. I didn't get to try their gym or pool but the gym looked very nice. Their mini kitchen area is exceptional! I would recommend housekeeping to really pay attention to detail in the bathrooms and to make sure that it is clean, other then that, they did an amazing job in regards to cleanliness in the rest of the room. read more

I traveled to see my bestie to have some girlfriend check in time. I wanted to enjoy my friend so I got a hotel night so I could have 2 adventure days. I checked in and was created with a genuine smile by Anesthesia the manager. She made sure I had a wonderful location for my room. She gave me my keys and a lot of information of: Wi-Fi/ breakfast times. She also instructed me a perfect park spot. The room was so clean and modern. I was extremely happy with how my room was presented. Good job EVS. Keep up the dedication to guest feeling comfortable with tidy rooms. It's always a concern for the times we live in now. The extra effort is recognized and appreciated. Tamara the night manger treated me when I returned to the hotel for my evening retirement. I had purchased some snacks at there 24 hr stand. So convenient. I had a kitchen set up so it was very nice to have these amenities at hand. The patio is so cute. The common area is open concept with adorable decor. "Light Touch actually means NO touch?" This hotel had the best reputation, so when I visited Palmdale, this was my first choice. The daily room rate was quite a bit higher than other hotels nearby. So I was quite surprised to find that for my relatively steep price, I got zero housekeeping service. The thing that baffles me the most is the housekeeping "light touch" policy. According to the information in the room, they're supposed to replace towels, make the bed and empty the trash. For my 3-night stay here, none of those things happened. The trash was not emptied, the bed was not made, and no towels were replaced. So actually the light touch means zero touch? I can't imagine how guests would consider this a good policy. This is a brand new, modern hotel. As one would expect, the rooms are sparkling clean and reasonably spacious. Calling my room a "suite" is a bit of a stretch. It's actually just a spacious room with a big curtain that you can draw between the bed and the convertible sofa. I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. I would have expected a more full service breakfast. Actually, it's mainly pre-made egg sandwiches that you heat up in the microwave. They also have oatmeal, pastries, cold cereal, yogurt, and of course the classic waffle maker. To be fair, my egg sandwich was pretty tasty. The hotel also has a policy of adding $50 to your room rate as a hold on your credit card. This surprised me, but perhaps this is standard practice now. But not to worry, when I checked out, I was just charge the agreed-upon price. There was no extra charge. Here's one minor feature that I really appreciate: They have hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the hotel. They also have USB charging stations in a lot of different locations, including the breakfast tables. That's a nice touch. The gym is close to the main desk, and includes a few elliptical, a few treadmill, light weights, and a weight machine. They also have a giant bin of clean towels. So all-in-all a pretty mixed experience. I am baffled why they provided zero housekeeping. Does the guest actually need to request housekeeping? I think something must have just gone wrong. My room had clearly not gotten a thorough cleaning in a long time, as there was dust caked on the bathroom exhaust fan. As it was late, I did not do an initial sweep of the room but did notice some of the surfaces had marks and stains indicative of inattention to detail. Another tip-off should have been the dust on the iron (I was traveling for work). When I got ready to shower the next morning, it had also clearly been neglected. There was a well-used bar of soap from a previous occupant on one of the dispensers, and soap scum was caked on both of them, yet there was no soap in the dispenser. I called to speak with the manager later, but when the desk clerk transferred me it rang through to voicemail. Since she didn't reach out to me that day and the room still hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed during the day, I gave the desk clerk very specific details of what was dirty in the room. She promised to have someone surface clean while I went out to eat and ordered a full cleaning for the next day. However, when I returned the only obvious change was new sheets on the bed, despite the assertion that the manager had personally taken a look at the areas where there were problems. The manager did leave a voicemail the next day on the room phone (also dirty) apologizing, but it was clear she had not supervised the full cleaning that was promised. I appreciate the fact that she reached out with an apology, but the room never got fully cleaned, and I was never offered a different room even after asking. The dust, used soap, surface spots, and soiled sink were all there or in the same condition when I checked out, minus areas I personally wiped down. I had a previous brief stay at this property without incident or complaint, but it's safe to say that I will not be returning. read more

So this was my first time ever at a Home 2 and I like what I see for sure. Home 2 is part of Hilton's growing chain of hotels. When travailing as a family we often look to see if a Homewood suites is available. Its combination of multi-room with a full kitchen makes traveling much easier. Home 2 is along a similar vein but it is geared towards the solo traveler it seems and slots itself in that direction. The room is decent sized. Has a slightly smaller than full sized fridge, and a full sized microwave and separate kitchen sink. Glasses and plates are provided along with basic kitchen stuff. Full sized shower, sofabed and one king sized bed. The room was quiet and comfortable. Given the 4th floor location it was quiet, and the insulation between rooms seemed okay. The common areas were kept clean, and the staff was always friendly. The pool area and gym were up to date and fully stocked with towels etc. The maid service was a bit inconsistent. While they operate on a lean model in terms of cleaning (with a deep clean every 5 days) on day one they came in with fresh towels, dumped the garbage, made the bed etc. Day two I forgot to take down the do not disturb sign so my bad. Day three I returned after midnight to find that no one had visited. Not a big deal since there was ample towels and I'm not going to call up to have my bed made. I did grab some granola at breakfast but did not bother with anything else so I will defer that part of it. It was easy access to Palmdale Airport and the like and there was ample parking. There is an Albertsons nearby along with a few fast food outlets however, there are ample eateries close at hand (5 minute drive) in the Anderson Valley mall complex and its environs. I booked a room here a few days before their Grand opening. The front desk agent was very calm and collected especially considering there were about 5 of us waiting to check in and the hotel was sold out the night before, so there were zero early check-ins. Since we arrived earlier than the check in time of 3pm, they let us use the pool while our room was getting ready. The pool area was perfect! No hot tub, but there are plenty of pool chairs and there is a separate area with 2 BBQ grills for a mini pool party! Definitely will be coming back this summer for a mini staycation! read more

Stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed every minute. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and CLEAN!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many Hilton Hotels over the years. This was by far my worst experience. I had booked a King Suite so I could conduct small business meetings with my Antelope Valley Team, during my stay. Upon arrival, I was informed that my suite had been over sold, and there was no space for me at the hotel. The General Manager assured me that an equivalent Suite had been booked for me at a nearby "sister hotel," and that the cost would be comped by the General Manager for the inconvenience. I arrived at the next hotel only to be told that they had no suites available and the manager from Home2Suites never explained he would be comping my stay. I was able to find a King Suite available at a nearby hotel, but for a considerably higher nightly rate. I requested that the original hotel manager pay the difference of the cost of the new hotel. I put my request in writing, and asked for a reply to confirm. General Manager of Home2Suites has completely ignored my request. Worst possible Hilton experience. I do plan to escalate the situation, but my confidence in Hilton has been derailed by this poorly managed hotel experience. read more

Is this Hilton's answer to Marriott's successful and popular Towne Place Suite? Not sure but I'm giving it a mixed review and I love TPS but I don't think this meets the standards. There are features I love and feature that are not so hot: Check In: - Annoying; I checked in with the app yet I had to sign this and that (both paper and screen); meanwhile the line was getting longer -- (mind you I was traveling since 3am Eastern and finally checking in at 7pm pacific so my tolerance level was low; I did appreciate the bottles of water due to my Hilton Honors Value: - Decent; I was on business travel. I thought I heard there was a resort fee quoted at check-in but I don't see it on my statement so was pleasantly surprised; I'm not sure what the resort fee would include as there isn't any perks here. - I did not use the pool, gym, and other features Other - I did use the business center and found it very easy to use to print out a few documents we needed - I really enjoy the design and functionality of the hotel lobby and hallways Location: - In the boonies; While my colleagues were up near the mall. I was stuck here with a few others due to late booking. No food establishments within walking (or safe walking) distance and very limited meal options at the hotel Hotel Room - Large and spacious, modern, slick, and clean! - A business area desk to work on - A sofa (which I didn't use) and couch to work on - Large TV with many choices; HBO wasn't working but I didn't care about that. - Lots of dishes, full size fridge, but it is missing a stove top/oven to cook things on! (NOTE: I did not cook in the room on this trip) - Bed very comfortable; pillows awful... way too soft.. but maybe this is just a CALIFORNIA thing... :-) - Shower / bathroom modern but 2 out of the 3 days it took a very very long time for the shower to get hot (2nd floor) water; didn't like the shower gel thing in the shower Just plain weird (and maybe this is only a CALIFORNIA environmental thing) - you have to plug your room key card into slot if you want electric in the room; I was annoyed that my devices didn't charge up when I went to breakfast as everything gets shut off - weird and potentially gross (there is dispensers in the shower for your shampoo and soap); I prefer a REAL bar of soap and they give you one. I wrote the staff to provide me more soap bars but this request WAS IGNORED! Breakfast -AWFUL why bother! - Everything is pre-packaged and you cook it in the microwave; The remaining items are all carbs; terrible selection of yogurt, fruit, etc. Maybe I'm a snob because I harvest my breakfast from the chicken coop every morning. LOL! Go out for breakfast - Coffee is good but I guess not good enough as my colleagues preferred paying for McDonald's coffee over the freeby at the hotel Overall I would stay here again but make a few requests to management about my preferences. Amazing true "HOME" away from home! The staff was so very friendly and helpful. The sheets were so soft (like sleeping on a cloud) and the space was incredible, like a studio aprtement. We had one employee that truly made our stay more than pleasant and her name was Latreace! She is a more than happy woman and struck up a conversation with my boyfriend and explained the features with Home2 Suites we did not know about. I wouldn't even give them one star . I came for a business trip, I was suppose to stay 2 weeks . The first room they gave me had a broken dishwasher , which no one told me it was broke . The dishwasher had a sign on it that said "all dishes inside have been washed and sanitized" all the dishes inside had food on them from guest before me . I was moved into another room which I was told "maintenance guy has checked everything in the room and everything is working" The dish washer in the new room had a piece broken and wouldn't roll out the bottom rack . I ignored it , I was tired of complaining. I used the top rack to put my dishes in , ran the dishwasher and it didn't drain the water . I again go tell the girls up front that this room also has a broken dish washer . They then tell me that "you must of broke it , we inspected that room before you went in . We're going to have to charge you for it " I had to call my boss and explain the situation and move to another hotel . This place is falling apart . They warm up jimmy dean knock offs for breakfast and they girls up front are too busy in the back room giggling and not doing their job . Do not stay here . Soccer travel has us in hotels often and we look forward to our stays here. The staff is friendly and beyond accommodating! Bianca was patient with our kids, always had a friendly smile and so helpful. The rooms are clean. The lobby is built as an area to hang out and the employees always go above and beyond to be sure we have everything we need, encourage our soccer players and take care of any requests. The small details, such as having breakfast ready 15 minutes early to accommodate our team before an early game and the snack bags the girls received upon check in are wonderful bonuses to an already great experience. Stayed here with the family for my daughter's soccer tournament. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. The rooms were clean modern and well appointed with energy/environmentally friendly saving features. The team enjoyed the pool together while parents gathered on the pool deck on lounges to socialize. BBQ's are also available for use on the pool deck. We'd planned to go out to dinner but given the nature of the public spaces, we opted to order pizzas and salads and picked up some additional provisions at a near by grocery store. We spent an enjoyable and entertaining evening in the lobby/lounge/patio areas with kids and adults alike. The staff couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. I was a bit leery after I booked a room for an overnight stay and saw the reviews. I am so happy to say that everything about first contact (Sincerely) checked us in, to seeing how nice the facilities was and being greeted by a smile goes a long way with me. The room was 413 which was not close to the elevator, ice machine or housekeeping room, just as I requested and the extra towels we requested were already in the room. The little kitchenette had everything we may have needed if we were staying longer. This is definitely a place which I will be visiting again. They serve a breakfast in the morning but I can't speak to that as we had planned to meet my son but it sure smelled and looked good. SCAMMERS & CON ARTISTS as management. i stayed at this establishment from 7/19 to what was supposed to be 7/22 but was wrongfully locked out of my room and told to leave due to "smoking in the room". here's the perspective of the consumer i checked in on friday evening with my gf and daughter. upon check in we waited at the front desk for about 10 mins before someone came to greet us. after being checked in we proceeded to the room to wind down & unpack. about 3 hours later i went to drop my daughter off and returned back to the hotel. i did not leave the hotel again until 5pm on saturday evening. on saturday evening at 9:16 i received a call for said establishment, no voicemail was left. as i'm out with friends and family i was too turnt up to return the call or return back to the hotel. upon returning to the hotel on sunday morning - AGAIN, I WAS NOT ON THE PROPERTY OF SAID ESTABLISHMENT FROM 1720 on 7/20 to 0830 on 7/21 - my room keys did not work. i went down to check in, again to wait another 10-15 mins for my room keys. i received my keys, went to my room to shower and ready for another day when i notice i am missing $500 yes, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. i think receive a knock on the door as i'm getting ready to confront the staff, saying i had to leave the property because "the smoking alarm was tripped last night at 9pm). now pay attention to the fact that i told them to check cameras, key interrogation, everything to show i was not there. i was STILL removed from the property as the GM told me to speak with her today, mon 7/22/19. Brittany is the front desk associate that admittedly went into my room, took pictures of my items, all while i was not in the room. she stated "i'm really sorry, when i went in [saturday night] i didn't smell smoke i didn't see smoke and the alarm red light was not on." so here i am thinking she will help find out who was in the room. GM Lisa Webley called and spoke with me today and stated she was not going to check the property camera s to prove my absence during the time the smoke alarm went off and someone, her staff member Brittany, went into the room, per Lisa's instructions. Lisa Webley was incredibly rude and unhelpful in regards to theft that took place at her business establishment. a police report is being filed and i highly recommend people STAY AWAY as long as these two women, lisa webley and brittany, are no longer working there. really sad to have had this type of experience at such a beautiful establishment. book a room at your own risk, you might not leave with what you came. & before you do that, feel free to read more reviews about guests having unauthorized entry into their rooms. it's just sick that you pay so much money to turn around and get robbed! And as you can see, the same woman is still not taking accountability. Shame. read more

I travel a lot for work and spent just over three months here. From the beginning it was a good experience and kept getting better. The rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The housekeeper do an amazing job at keeping everything tidy and well-stocked. The attendance downstairs at the front desk are always more than helpful with any of my questions. The lobby and breakfast area are large, open and welcoming. They have quite a good selection at breakfast. I will be returning to the area and definitely will be checking back in here. read more

I initially thought I was going to enjoy this place, when I checked in Christian was very friendly, it seemed very clean and quiet. I was wrong. My first issue was that my reservation clearly stated I was going to be there two weeks and I advised upon check-in that I was there for work. For some reason I was put on the first floor very close to the lobby and the noise was constant. It was extremely difficult to concentrate and get work done. my second issue was the advertised free breakfast was nothing like I thought it was going to be. See pictures. The warm food was microwaved packaged food or hard boiled eggs. They also had a waffle maker, but that's it. Otherwise you have cereal or toast. and even that isn't horrible, but I was frequently up very early and even the warm packaged food that you have to microwave would be gone within just a few minutes of the breakfast bar opening up. None of this food ever really seemed to be replaced. The picture I posted will give you a good idea of what it looked like on average. My next problem with the cleanliness. The floor was dirty when I first checked in but it wasn't horrible so I just let it be. I only asked for my place to be cleaned once the entire 2 weeks I was there and they essentially wiped countertops but that was it. The floor was even dirtier when they left and if I could have cleaned the place myself, I would have, but I just don't bring mops are cleaning products as part of my travel bag. Even the sink wasn't wiped down because the food stains from the night before were still in it. My fourth issue was on a Sunday evening, a staff member from this location, without any cause or warning, walked straight into my room as I was stepping out of the shower. I was absolutely mortified! The female staff member immediately closed the door and I hurried to throw on pajamas to see what was going on and as she walked away, she simply turned around and said, "we thought you checked out, but you're good", like it was somehow my fault she thought I checked out. Maybe because I don't need the room cleaned every day? I don't know. But the most basic, Common Sense would indicate you should call, maybe knock if you feel like it, give the customer some sort of indication that you're going to just walk into the room. My second concern with this is that my company is a federally contracted company and at any given time, there is potentially sensitive and proprietary information sitting out and the security of that information is compromised anytime a staff member feels like they can just walk into a room without checking first. So I advised my company and it is very unlikely we will ever use this location again. my final issue, which was another big issue, is that this place does not charge a standard flat fee upon check-in, they charge a percentage of your stay, or at least that's what I was told initially. I was later told they are supposed to charge me $30 a day for every day that you stay there and that's just part of their deposit. So staying there for a couple weeks, I was charged multiple hundreds, but that's not what I was told on checking. I was charged a certain amount of pain check in and then several days later started to notice additional charges on my card because they failed to charge the appropriate amount when I first checked in. Someone noticed the error and instead of contacting me to correct the error, they instead took it upon themselves to continue to charge my card without advising me or even asking permission to charge my card. Multiple hundreds later, I was furious. that was the final straw and I was told multiple times that these messages were delivered to the general manager, Lisa. I never received any call from her so I decided to reach out myself on June 28th. I had a conversation with her that was less than 10 minutes before she advised me she was the only person working the front desk and while aware of the issues, was apparently not aware that she was supposed to call me to rectify the issues. I guess whether or not I specifically asked for a phone call, even though I was told I would receive one, you would think it would be natural for someone working in that capacity to reach out, especially given the potential loss of continued business. No apology, nothing. So when I reached out, she told me on June 28th she was the only person Manning the front desk and she would look into these issues to see what was going on, especially with the charges, and give me a call back by close of business that day. It's now July 3rd and I've heard nothing from anyone at this location and I received confirmation from my company this morning that they have been made aware of the issues, making it extremely unlikely our federal contractors will ever use this place again. read more

Excellent hotel _an eco friendly and welcoming place. The hotel is new with great decor, well managed and staff that are nice & hospitable.

I spent the last work week at HOME2, and I'm so glad that I did. The staff are very attentive and genuinely seem happy to have me as a guest. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped with all the essentials needed to provide a comfortable stay. Since my work day starts before the complimentary breakfast is available, Christina, the morning Host, graciously ensured that a breakfast to go was waiting for me at the front desk every morning. One more note, HOME2 provides the best apples in town 24/7. I'm already looking forward to my next stay! read more

Unbelievable! and not in a good way! Recently opened hotel and I was in need of booking 15 rooms for 50 people. Process started out really promising to be honest. I spoke with group coordinator Kimberly and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Gave me a great group rate on the room and all seemed to be working out perfectly, or so I thought. So as time began to pass I realized that I never received a confirmation email. Let me also throw out there that my initial phone all with her began 2 months prior to my event. I thought that was strange so I called again (a few weeks later) and my conversation began with the guy on the phone having no idea who I was and no record at all of my reservation. Later that day Kimberly called me back and asked me for some similar information again which was strange because I thought we have nailed everything down. So once AGAIN, I have her all my information as she proceeded to tell me the computer was having problems with groups sales. But she would get everything figured out. No problem, I understand computers and networks can be the worst sometimes. So I asked her on the second time calling when I would receive confirmation of my rooms? She explained to me how the group rates system still wasn't working. SO I explained that I really wanted to secure the rooms at all cost! SO, she had me give her my credit card number over the phone and told me she would save 15 rooms and just put them all under my name as individual rooms since the system wasn't working. I REMEMBER clearly saying. "I really need to know that this will secure the rooms, I cannot get there with 50 people and have a problem" she told me no problem and that everything was booked, told me again the dates, once again I gave her my email and went on my way. Well, never got a confirmation. I will admit, I got busy and never follow up with her (since my room was secured in all honesty I shouldn't have had to she should have called me as the event got closer) but regardless I will take blame because with a group that size I should have demanded a confirmation email. I called today (the day before my event) just to confirm my reservation for the following day. The guy answers the phone and again, has no idea who I am and no record. He told me he was going to check with Kimberly and have here call me back. This I where I lost it....All she had to say was, I'm really sorry, I forgot to book your rooms, I would have been really upset still, but at least I could have respected human error (even tho this was the second time this happened with the same person) She begins to tell me that she sent me contract (lies) and that I never responded and so she just assumed I didn't want the rooms!!!! WHAT!!!! I gave her my credit card information over the phone!!!! And, she didn't think to give me a call? For real?....And further more, because the system was down and the rooms were booked individually, there was no contract there was never gonna be a contract....that was only for groups sales smh!!! I could not believe that she lied and turned the blame on me. I asked her to please resend the contract so that I could at least see how I missed it....Of course she didn't have it, couldn't find it, and had no record at all. Then she told me it must have kicked back to her (lie again) She then tried to call other hotels (which again I appreciated the effort) but I knew with the event this large there was going to be nothing. She apologized for not having rooms available but never took blame or apologized for dropping the ball on me and 50 other people. Unreal!! Honestly its one thing to make a mistake, but its another to lie and then switch the blame. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and have booked 100s of hotel rooms for groups and individually, and never have I been so insulted by someone so dishonest, incompetent and irresponsible. I contacted Hiltons head office and gave them her name and hotel. Hopefully they will handle the staffing issue and no one else will be left hanging. They get one star (and 0 if it was an option) because I never made it to the hotel to decide if anything else was worthy of another star. All I can say is....demand confirmation before you get off the phone and stay on the phone until the email pushes through. Good luck! read more

Would have given no stars if possible. Booked a reservation, showed up and they refused to accept my virtual Hilton Honors American Express. I'd been using the card across the US with no issues. It was virtual on my phone because midway through my trip I applied and was assured that I could use the virtual card until I received the physical card in 10-15 business days. The reward points were the clincher and I used the virtual card across America. At each hotel, the hotel clerk would verify the authenticity of the card and my ID, no problem. Tried to that at Palmdale Home2 Suites but they refused. Keep in mind that I am a locaI Los Angeles County resident with ID up the kazoo. I requested to see a manager and was denied that too. I was so tired from driving 3000 and I was about 40 minutes from home, so I continued driving. I asked the gal behind the desk if I was going to be charged since they wouldn't accept the card and she assured me there would be no charges. I believed her. Fast forward a billing cycle and there was a charge from the hotel for $155 for being a no-show. I called Home2 Suites and they said they have the right to charge the card on file. I then said, "You charged as a no-show but I was there. You wouldn't accept the virtual Hilton Honors Amex. You then charged that same card for service I didn't receive. You won't accept the card but you'll charge it for services not rendered?" I called Amex and they referred me to Hilton Honors. I was assured I'd be contacted within 3 days. A week later I get an email from Hilton Honors stating they forwarded the complaint to Home2 Suites. 2 weeks pass nothing. I called Amex back and disputed charges so that's in the works. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, the Attorney General's Office of California, in addition to Consumer Affairs. Won't ever stay at a Home2 Suites again and may cancel the Amex card if they charge me for the room. In addition, they charge $100 pet fee, so that would have been $255 had I stayed. Stay at La Quinta if you have a pet, it's complimentary. Hilton Honors?...I think not! read more
