Great morning breakfast at TownePlace Suites. Make your own waffles and some earthy and fresh oatmeal. We got a very spacious room that was well accommodated with your own kitchenette, fridge and nice large bathroom. The service was top notch with an extremely dedicated staff. Fiona a pilot, tuned singer turned receptionist extraordinaire was simply fantastic. The hotel is seven years old so really new with great amenities like table of ping pong outside and a small gym. Pricing was on the expensive side at $480 a night but this is July the 04th weekend. Management and Mylissa were very hospitable lecturing on defense against bears and kindly loaned us a bear spray! My son forgot his little Charmander "Char" Pokémon plush and the staff went out of their way to find him and give him. Special Day! Really remarkable spa treatment at the pool and very attentive care! Check the pics! "Family..... dont worry about me while we are away. They feed me breakfast. I even got to try huckleberries !! Stayed for one night at the beginning of a trip. It was generally very good for the brand, extremely well kept with lots of great touches like bikes to borrow, BBQ grills, and art on the walls that added to the sense of place. Included breakfast was also very good. Front desk staff were great. My only hesitation is the cost. I couldn't believe the cash price for a peak season stay. I used Marriott points, and even that decent redemption was more points than I would have thought. The location is fine, but it's at the edge of Whitefish, definitely not near anything. read more

An excellent hotel option when visiting Glacier Park, with exceptional service! We stayed early July while visiting Glacier National Park. Hotel was conveniently located 30 minutes from the park and in my opinion a better option than the dated and dark hotel accommodations at Glacier. We also found several good restaurant options near the hotel and took advantage of the free yummy breakfast buffet offered. Hotel also offers free loaner bear spray (which would normally cost you at least $50) and free use of bikes with bike lock and helmet included. The suite offered plenty of space for our family of 4 which included 3 adults and a teen. The kitchen was VERY convenient as well. But the best part was the staff!!Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful (shout out to the two young staff members from Turkey!) I also strongly recommend looking into the Marriot Bonvoy credit card. Our points covered our ENTIRE 5 night stay..completely free!! read more

This TownPlace was an interesting stay for us. It was gnat season in early October when we arrived, and somehow the gnats got into our room. My wife hates all bugs and has fits whenever she sees them whether at home, in our car, or anywhere else. I saw the gnats shortly after I got into the room and started killing them. I brought it to the attention of Jason, the assistant GM. Unfortunately, he was full the night we stayed and could not move us to a different room. I asked if we could cut our stay short and look for another hotel. He was good about it and allowed us to check out a day early and refunded us points since this was a points stay. The room itself minus the gnats was big. It was very roomy. It had a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, induction stovetop and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a shower (no tub). Soap, shampoo and conditioner were Bonvoyed as they were using the North brand. The gym was nice and had treadmills and ellipticals. I don't remember much of it as my wife cut my workout short when she called me to complain about the gnats. This TownPlace could've been a good hotel for us if they didn't have gnats in my room. I killed over 20 of them, but, there were still more. My wife was so frazzled that she left some clothing in one of the closets upon checking out. But, when I called to inquire, the front desk lady who answered said that housekeeping did not find anything. This was memorable stay for us as my wife keeps reminding me about it. Jason did what he could under the circumstances and even wrote us an email, and I appreciate what he did which is why I am not giving them 1 star. It could've easily been a 4 star stay if we went there when gnats were not in season. read more

I usually enjoy Towne Place Suites however the Whitefish location is lacking in hospitality , space and the breakfast bar was very disappointing. The king suite was missing almost all the cookware. The bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable beds I have been in. read more

Great services available unlike other locations - shuttle into town and free bikes to explore local area. Ventured downtown before having to leave this afternoon. Quiet- clean. Consistently exceptional, this Townplace Suites did not disappoint. We were greeted by Heidi who quickly and efficiently gave us our rooms and gold member perks (waters and chocolates). Her smile and manner were wonderful. We were located close to supermarkets, drug stores, dining, and other shopping venues. We were about 30-40 min. from the entrance to Glacier National Park. This was perfect as we awoke at 5AM to hike at Logan's Pass. Unfortunately, the clouds and cold weather (in August!) prevented us from completing the hike. When we returned to the hotel, at 10:15, we were ecstatic that breakfast was still available! It was supposed to be 7-10. We enjoyed cereals, juices, teas, peanut butter sandwiches, and egg sandwiches with bacon on English muffins. The room was perfect! Large comfortable bed, plenty of plugs for our electronics, dependable internet, big flat screen TV with more channels than we needed, a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator for our groceries, lighted closet with plenty of hangars, sofa, and a shower that had temperature controls away from the water flow to avoid too cold or too hot temperatures. What a great place to stay! This was my first time staying in a Townplace Suites. The rooms were oversized with a small kitchen and a good sized closet. There were laundry facilities on premise as well. Breakfast was provided and was designed as "to-go" given that most guests were headed out to the mountains. The pool is large and the hot tub was refreshing after days of long hikes. One of the features I loved was the propane / gas grills located out back. So one night we grilled pork chops. After 10 days on the road, a home cooked meal never tasted so good. Lastly, I want to give huge props to the staff! Super friendly and knowledgable. Lisa took very good care of us with recommendations on hikes, restaurants, etc. When you're in the area, Townplace should definitely be on your list of places to consider staying! read more

The place was clean, remodeled, and had great customer service. The breakfast choices were interesting as it has been modified to deal with supply chain and labor shortages. Why do I say that? Because I've never seen single packaged quiche and waffles served up as a breakfast option. The biscuit and sausage gravy was good. It would be smart for them to actually label the container it was served in. Reason I'm saying this is because I intended to have oatmeal and went to the oatmeal container to serve myself. Thankfully the staff member came by to inform me it was sausage gravy. At the same time she said that, another patron walked by and said, 'goodness, I am glad to know that it was sausage gravy because when I took a bite of it, I thought it was the worst oatmeal I'd ever had.' So, the advice, label the darn sausage gravy. It is good and deserves a label. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen amenities were perfect for my 3 day trip! read more

I am a loyal Marriott member, and Towneplace Suites was the perfect place to stay for my visit. It is a very nice, new and updated hotel, and very comfortable stay. It is located just 2 miles from downtown and is in a perfect location. My room was perfect, with a view over the pool, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, and loved the walk in shower. I was greeted with a card and treats from the Towneplace Suits Team on my bed, which was a very nice surprise. They offered a full hot complimentary breakfast, the workout area, outdoor pool and hot tub were so nice and wonderful to use, and loved that they had a nugget ice maker - it's the little things ;) Great staff, wonderful hotel, very comfortable stay! read more

Walls are paper thin. Can hear the TV in one room. Can hear someone banging something in the metal kitchen sink in the other room. Which doesn't make sense given the configuration but here we are. It's after 11pm at night so sleep won't be easy. No one was at the front desk when we showed up not did anyone answer the phone after calling three times. Thank goodness I checked in using the app earlier in the day and didn't mind reaching around and grabbing my keys! But I shouldn't need to self-serve. So far the room is clean. Plentiful parking. Bed is kind of lumpy. AC unit is loud. Decent kitchen. Spacious closet space. read more

I would highly recommend this place! Easy parking, easy to find and is located in a safe area. We found the staff to be very attentive, the room is clean and spacious. The room has a full kitchen including a stove top with two burners, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a microwave. Actually, we were extremely surprised at how large the room is in the size of the closets. There is a closet located off of the main bedroom that is huge. The closet is approximately 5 x 10'. The second closet is located in the bathroom and is a typical size closet for a hotel room. The larger closet of the main room makes it nice if someone needs to change in private. It was easy to use my points to reserve a room. We would highly recommend this hotel. read more

As a Titanium Elite member and frequent guest, I'd expect to receive the best room. Best rooms are upper floor on the back of the hotel - furthest from the highway. Ground floor rooms on the front have to listen to people in the parking lot yelling and horns as they alarm their cars and the highway noise. Being downstairs means you have people stomping around on your head. Demand pricing - during the year the price fluctuations vary between $99 - $199... I get the supply and demand thing. But jacking the rate up to over $400 !? That's outrageous. Then I get a ground floor room fronting the highway... read more

Great location with good proximity to all attractions in the area. Stayed here 5 nights and the hotel offered everything we needed- laundry, coffee all day, breakfast, and a pool/hot tub. Starbucks is a quick walk from the hotel. Only 30 minutes to GNP. Would definitely stay here again. read more

The rates were good and the rooms looked nice. It was good to have a kitchenette, especially with us staying for a while. They also offer complimentary breakfast but you cannot find info on this easily. I couldn't remember the hours and couldn't find the information anywhere. In terms of location it is pretty nice. Not a lot of parking at night though. The front desk person that we dealt with a few times seemed friendlier with other people than they were with us. Almost seemed annoyed when we checked in. One time we stopped by to ask a question and stood there for a bit and no one came so we left. The shower doesn't have a curtain and just has a sheet of glass that covers half the shower so it gets cold when showering. The rooms are not sealed well. You can hear everyone outside. The doors all close SO LOUDLY. Even if you hold it and slowly close it it is loud. No one tries to close the doors quietly so you hear doors all of the time. The closet doors are no better. We left ours open so we didn't disturb everyone but no one else did. Constantly open and closing of them is so loud! You should pick the top floor, the floors are as thin as the walls. We got to hear our upstairs neighbor walking around when we were going to sleep and before we woke up and throughout the day. Our nextdoor neighbor walked so hard that you could feel it through the bed. That makes sleeping a lot of fun when everything is making noise and bumping you around. I don't know how these people are walking around so much! If you're not a light sleeper and aren't spending much time in your room then it's ideal. If not, you're in for a treat. read more

Towneplace Suites in Whitefish was absolutely perfect for us. My fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Glacier National Park, which is about a 30 minute drive from Whitefish. This hotel is located right off a major road so it's near a bunch of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores. The hotel grounds are clean and well-maintained. They have an indoor gym, outdoor pool & hot tub, and a laundry facility. Some nice perks of this hotel are free parking, free wifi, and a complementary breakfast offered every morning. In addition, checking in and out was simple using the Marriott mobile app. We booked a room with a king bed, which we found to be nice and tidy. The only minor thing that grossed me out initially is that I found trash from a previous guest that was left in our room when we checked in. It wasn't worth docking a star down for it. Our room had a spacious kitchenette including a two burner stove, large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and a sink. Having a kitchenette was a MUST for us especially since we planned on being at Glacier NP all day and needed to store food and drinks that we were going to bring into the park. In addition, the bathroom was spacious with a modern walk-in shower. The bed was also super soft and comfy. The staff are genuinely friendly and courteous. Most importantly, they are doing a good job handling the current covid situation. The complementary breakfast is now a "grab and go" style where someone is behind the table and you pick out what you want instead of a self serve buffet like how it used to be. Colleen, who was one of the staff handling the food, was very helpful when she saw us struggling to put ice in our cooler for our day trip to Glacier NP. Every morning whenever she saw us, she gave us a pitcher to help us put ice in our cooler. That was really nice of her. Keep in mind that there's no longer daily house keeping unless you stay for more than 7 days. You can call the front desk to request any extra supplies and they're happy to help. As for the trash and linens/towels, simply put your used linen in the basket provided in your room and leave the trash bags outside your door before 9 AM and they will take it and leave you with new trash bags and linen. It was painlessly easy! Overall, we had a great stay here. My fiancé and I plan on going back to Glacier NP in the future; and when we do, we will be sure to stay here again. This TownePlace is a great place to stay and has decent value when staying on certificates compared to the typical room rates. About 30 minutes from the entry to Glacier National Park and maybe and Hour 20 to Logan Pass, it's not far. We left every morning before Sunrise (about 5am) and returned from the park in time for showering and going to dinner in downtown Whitefish. The hotel was very clean, modern, and had more amenities than you'd get at your typical TownePlace. I do think it was a good decision staying here vs. closer to the park due to its location for getting high-quality dinner and drinks around town in the evenings. If you're debating about this area (Whitefish) or Kalispell (the only locations for Marriott brands in the area), I'd recommend this Whitefish option 10 times over anything in Kalispell. read more

Had a great visit at this property. As a loyal Marriott customer, I prefer to stay at a Marriott property when I travel. Though the Covid restrictions create some downside, the team here was great. The breakfast bag to go was sufficient and they were helpful to all requests, including lighting the fire pit outside so we could enjoy some wine outside during beautiful weather! We had a service animal and they treated him like family, even left notes and treats after cleaning our room. Coleen was so welcoming and always checking in on us.
