We were in Suite 18, which sits in a separate tower connected to the spa. The room itself was well appointed. You can tell nothing in there was inexpensive, and everything was fresh and well maintained, no wear, no chipped paint, nothing neglected. If I'm being honest, some of styling is starting to feel a touch dated in places, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. One note, and to be totally fair it was an unbelievably hot day: when we returned from dinner the room was in the mid to high 70s, and it took about an hour and a half to cool down. The staff explained we needed to lower the thermostat in 2-degree increments rather than setting it straight to our target, and they were right, it worked. Still, that's a bit of a workaround at this price point. A lovely property with genuinely gracious service. We'd stay again.

Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. They have a Grab & Go stocked with a variety of snacks, drinks, some ice cream, and useful things.

And sadly, the guy who runs the place is unresponsive and the maintenance guy was not wearing a mask at any point during my stay here (I was the only one that I saw who was), at the height of COVID. And I was told that this was a place where nurses and doctors stay long term due to proximity to the hospital, so these might have been the 50% of nurses who refused the vaccine, because they clearly didn't take it seriously. This Inn is a place where the money goes to the owner but there is no upkeep. He's essentially a slumlord. I imagine he actually visits this place once a year or so, if that. I also asked for a breakdown of room costs per day (they were the same per day) to submit for financial reimbursement, which the owner kept saying he would do, but never did. It was a frustrating stay.

Even though the meeting was purposely planned after check in time. We were finally checked in to our room around 3:30-3:45pm and was told it was due to IT upgrading their systems right around check-in time so the computers were down. If this is true, that's a horrible choice of a time to do an upgrade. The room itself was an executive suite which was very large and spacious. I did like that it had 1.5 bathrooms and had items for our pet, since it is a pet friendly hotel. The room was very clean and no issues there. The pool area was very crowded but luckily we booked a cabana in advance so we didn't have to worry about finding a seat, but the bar was very delayed and the pool itself didn't have much space. Check out process was much more smoothly than check in and had no issues.

They don't have a restaurant here but you could go to the Hilton Garden Inn and they have a restaurant that's open from 5 PM to 10 PM. There's a Whole Foods that's five minutes away to grab groceries for your room to be able to cook if you want to cook for yourself here which was nice !

Unfortunately, it didn't help at all. The carpeting and furniture are so gross looking I imagine the smell is coming from that and the window curtains but not really sure. The wallpaper is peeling off but as I was leaving I saw they were peeling it off in the lobby so hopefully they are working on replacing that. Water pressure is okay. If they replaced the carpet and furniture (or at least steam cleaned it) I think that would make a huge difference.

I really felt like they took care of me throughout my stay. I also had an Amex credit to use, which gave me an excuse to try both the bar and the cafe, and honestly both were phenomenal. The cafe had one of the best breakfast platters I had during my trip, and I loved that it opened so early because it made grabbing breakfast before heading out really convenient. On the other hand, the bar stays open really late, which was also perfect for ending the night. Overall, I just really loved the entire experience here. Between the beautiful rooms, genuinely kind staff, and really good food and drinks, this was such a memorable stay. I will say that the walls are quite thin so you can hear literally everything, but I was lucky and had a pretty polite floor. One of the elevators was broken when I visited (and apparently it's been broken for some time), so I had to account for wait time since the entire building was utilizing this one elevator.

Another small detail I noticed was the quilt detailing was peeling, but underneath was different colored fabric. I'm not sure if the ripping quilts was intentional or not, but it put me off a bit. Other than that, the decor was fabulous. I loved the checkered tiled bathrooms, the leopard print carpet, and canopied beds. For one night, both rooms ran me about $500. Not bad for a luxury hotel, but not cheap either. Check in was seamless, the rooms were clean, and we enjoyed going to the bars inside the hotel including the Ash Bar, Blooms, and Coral Wig. They have very different vibes, but all were top tier. Would stay here again!

My room was cleaned twice in that 5 day window which was just enough. The common areas were clean. The breakfast offered was good. I stuck to the oatmeal, bagel and coffee. I did have a meal from the bar/hotel restaurant and it was very very good! My room was clean and spacious! I had the issue with the toilet but then also the refrigerator had an ice machine that kept making ice nonstop and made noise on and off throughout the day. My room Was on the 12th floor but the noise outside from the passing traffic and loiters across the street woke me up and kept me up 3 out of those 5 nights. The bed was comfortable and the room was good. The hotel was nice but it's just the noise outside that was the biggest issue.
