We stayed here on our way to Acadia. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and updated hotel, good water pressure and comfy bed. Couldn't ask for more.

Wtf. $324.00 for one night stay. Wall paper!

The room was dirty spots on the carpet cobwebs in the ceiling wallpaper that had been painted over it was a white patch. And three pretty gross spots on the wallpaper can imagine what they were. There is crumbs underneath the desk. After driving seven hours I didn't have the energy to fight with anybody I just needed to sleep. I wasn't expecting the grand tie it are the W Hotel but for $324 I was expecting a clean room

I'm a fan of the Hampton inn. As far as everyday hotels go, I'm a big fan of Hilton's Hampton line. It's nice, clean and consistent. Our family got three rooms on "opening night" which is exciting. Not planned at all! We're on our way through and just got dinner at the nearby Maine Diner. I'm pooped so am looking forward to catching some zzz's. Anyway, this hotel is everything I expected AND AN INDOOR POOL! The bathrooms are also nice and modern. Lots of glass and tile instead of a tired small tub with a questionable shower head. The beds are super comfy and extra tall, "princess style", with a decorative lace duvet. Also the fresh cookies on arrival is a nice touch. Well done Hampton Crew!

    Every room needs a chaaase!

Beautiful Hampton! We almost always stay at Hampton Inns when we travel. This one is really great, probably one of the nicest we've enjoyed. It's just 2 months old (opened June 2017). Modern classic interior and rooms. The room is very clean, spacious and has some nice touches. Would highly recommend.

    Falling apart

Worst Hampton I have ever stayed in. Location: Godd. right off the highway and easy to find. Lobby: Good. clean and decent. Every Hampton hands out cookies around evening. We came back at 7 and they are all gone. They probably did one round and about two dozens. The place is fully booked. DEAR MANAGER OF HAMPTON.....HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU HAVE IN THE BUILDING? Breakfast: Is good. .Egg, sausage patties. Home fries, bagels, waffles...very clean environment. The lady who in charge of this section was very friendly. Likeable! Room: Mah!..Room 201, first thing we saw when we walked in was a damaged baseboard. This place is brand new, opened not long ago. It is already falling apart. Then the TV is on the left side of the bed???MM I have been to a hand full of Hampton Inn, including the one in North Conway; I have never ...ever seen a TV set on the left side of the bed. Perhaps the room is designed for left side sleepers. AC is noisy...loud. Bed is too soft and pillows are very uncomfortable. Conclusion: This place is a one time too many. You will never see me here again.

Accommodating, helpful and very friendly staff. We bought some fresh oysters down east but hadn't thought of the oyster knife. Asked the manager if, by chance we could possibly borrow an oyster knife? Well, due to liability issues, they would not allow me to borrow the knife but offered to have the chef shuck them for us (after signing a waiver!.....I hate where our country is, but totally understand!). We listened to live piano to relax us during a raining and "trafficy" day driving from down east and Acadia national park. Just one mile down the road from Walker's point (The Bush compound) I was really hoping that we might run into 'W' and Mrs. but to no avail. The room was well appointed and a corner room with beautiful views of the chanel. Picture commercial lobster boats moored at bouys as the tides rise and fall with the hours going by. A rainy day to start lead to clear skies and a beautiful bluebird sky with white puffy clouds to accent. Breakfast buffet included in the stay along with free bikes to use as guest made our stay complete. I only wish we had more time to spend here at the resort! Huge thanks for making our stay complete and fabulous!! Cheers to you all. Oh, I almost forgot, they have a shuttle that runs out to dock square every half hour. What a blessing.

Cute place with lots of cute decorations. They have a little bar right next to the event space that you can get a drink and it looks like you can get a drink to go as well. I would love to stay here sometime!

The owner Susanne is an amazing chef and her warm/welcoming personality was so much appreciated, she went out of her way to make our stay wonderful (she even put a candle in my scone on my birthday which was so thoughtful). The Inn is has a cozy & comfortable atmosphere which is elevated by Susanne's amazing homemade 3 course breakfasts each morning. We enjoyed the fire pit out front, which we relaxed by each evening, and Susanne sat & chatted with one evening in the sitting room as we sat with drinks & played a board game ( Susanne is a gem and we both adored her). We will definitely be returning soon, if you are in the Kennebunk area, you MUST stay here, you won't be disappointed. Until we return, we want to THANK Susanne again for everything she did for us and wish her & White Sails the best regards! Rick F. Stoneham,MA

You're going to slog your luggage to your room yourself, perhaps in the rain or snow, from the parking lot, and most likely up a flight or, heaven forbid you booked one of the rooms on the third floor, up 2 flights of stairs. There always appeared to be just one staff person at the hotel, handling the front desk. The inn is very convenient to dock square. We only drove to dinner one night, the rest of the stay we had quite nice meals within a block or so of the hotel. We stayed in the perkins suite on the second floor. Nice sized room. Roomy bathroom, good shower, decent counter space and several drawers. Felt clean and new, like it had been remodeled not long ago. You knew you were in an older hotel, but the room was clean and well kept. Comfortable seating in front of the TV. They've upgraded to a larger TV than shows on many pictures. It was easy to pull out from the wall and switch out the hotel cable feed for our own streaming device. Plenty of convenient outlets. Good sized fridge. Bed comfortable and room can be kept reasonably dark and cold. A small missed opportunity not having a few more pieces of furniture in the room. There was plenty of available space where they could have put a small desk for working, a bench at the foot of the bed, or a floor lamp for evening lighting. All of these would have not crowded the room and would have made the stay more pleasant. Continental breakfast provided is very basic. If you want to be in the midst of Kennebunkport action, it's a good place to stay. But there are many other great options in the area, and the lack of service, especially around help with check in/out is enough to prevent us from ever returning.
