Overall happy with this hotel. Only complaint is our reservation was for a room with a bathtub and we had a shower with no tub.

My wife and one of our kids decided on a quick mini vacation in between our summer activities. I wanted to use some Hilton points, and the only thing available was this Hampton Inn. Well I'm glad the Hampton Inn was available. We found the facility to be in very good condition, our room is very comfortable, and it certainly met all of our needs. The location is excellent, there is a publics and a Kroger directly across the street if you care to go shopping. Several fast foods in the area, and directly next-door a sandwich place and a barbecue joint. Both of which were excellent. Traveling with the family, you know there are needs that pop up. This facility, is managed by Marisa. Marisa was there daily, and took care of all of our needs. Always happy to help. She's one of the best front desk people I have ever met. The staff there was very welcoming and hospitable. The cleaning staff was above par when it came to making sure the rooms were completely cleaned and stocked of all amenities that were used on a day to day basis. After a very long flight with delays and other problems we looked forward to a good nights rest at this Hampton Inn. We picked this hotel because we've stayed at many across the country. We realize that they are renovating but the rooms available are really bad. They should just close until renovations are complete. We requested a handicap accessible room only to arrive and find it was not!! We were told that's all we have. No other rooms available. Had to make do in this dirty unacceptable room. This hotel was pretty nice and the staff were really nice and helpful. The best part is that the hotel is close to a small strip mall which has a great tap house with great beer selection and a nice but small menu and there is also a BBQ place there. I love having the ability to walk from my room to get a relaxing drink and/or dinner. You are also pretty close to all the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg touristy stuff. This Hampton Inn is old and needs to be renovated. We stayed here for 2 nights and had a terrible experience. We walked into room 318 to a musty smell. The carpet was wet and the air was humid. They had no double beds left, so my family of 4 slept on a king bed and a sofa about the size you could put in a shoe box. The toilet leaked all night and water continuously ran. I would not recommend this Hampton Inn, which normally Hampton Inns are great. If you do decide to stay here, request a room in the back of the hotel. The road is very busy and loud on the front side and the windows are thin. read more

Another wonderful stay at Hampton .. we wanted to avoid the crowds of Gatlinburg and stayed in Sevierville .. lots of chain restaurants and outlet malls .. only 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. I was traveling with my mom this time on .. celebrating her birthday our room was very comfortable and clean .. everything looked new and the beds were comfortable. Rooms had small fridge and microwave. Towels were corse and small but plenty of them and like they provided mouthwash. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast .. wish they had brown sugar for the oat meal and yogurt that didn't have that artificial sweetener after taste but the ladies kept the breakfast area clean and stocked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. there is an indoor pool. If you drive through the parking lot to the gas station it's easier to get out and head towards town or Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed our stay and the price was very reasonable. read more

I wanted a cheap room for the night to split a long drive. That's exactly what I got. It was clean, in the latest phase in hotel/motels, the carpet in the room is gone, replaced by laminate flooring. This is a feature. This way you can see if the floor is clean. Some of the lights were inoperative, but the main light over the bed worked, and the curtains completely blocked all outside light. The desk worked adequately and there was no closet, instead there was an armoire to hang up your clothes. Not an issue on my overnight stay. The room was fairly quiet, although there were occasional thumping noises during the night. I'm not sure if that was from upstairs guests or the elevator, which I was right next door to. The complimentary breakfast was acceptable. There was no meat, but there were biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. There was also a variety of breakfast breads, pastries, and waffles. There was a small pool, but when I arrived it was clogged with children. There was a small queue at the front desk when I arrived and the desk clerk seemed overwhelmed and unable or unwilling to dismiss the guests in front of me so that I could check in. Still, I would stay here again if need arose or if I wanted a cheap hotel room for Pigeon Forge, Dollywood or Gatlinburg. read more

I don't even know where to start but I can confirm this hotel does have BED BUGS! We stayed there the 1st of May and found a bed bug crawling on the sheets. I brought it down to the front desk and they did get an exterminator the following day. The exterminator did not find any bed bugs but I have proof of the one we found. We used points so we were not out of any $ but the Manager didn't even say sorry for or anything they just made it seem we were making it up. I have stayed at over 500 hotels for work and I would say this hotel needs a LOT of updating. There have been other guests on the reviews say the same thing about Bed BUGS so it's just not us saying this. read more

If you're looking for a safe, comfortable place with no gimmicks, stay here. It's a bit far away from the Pigeon Forge strip, yes. We had a wonderful stay here. I'm giving the highest rating because there's really nothing that I need improved. The location is great. Just away from the craziness of Pigeon Forge but just a short drive to all of the attractions. When the traffic gets intense, there are ways around if you use your phone apps strategically. Otherwise, it's a straight shot as you're basically already on the main parkway. You have a Kroger across the street (grocery store), as well as several restaurants in the immediate area (we enjoyed Thai Basil). I liked that I got an email before we had even left home and I was able to check in online. When we showed up, it was literally, "What's your name?" and "Here are your keys." Of course, you don't exactly know which room to pick, so I called ahead to find out which ones were away from the main road. Spoiler alert: it's the even-numbered rooms. I decided on 316 i.e. third floor not next to the elevator. It worked out because our stay was peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. That really should be a given whenever you pay to stay somewhere but it's always appreciated. We had a "King Study," which is a room with a king and sofa bed. The room had all of the useful amenities--mini fridge, TV with plenty of cable channels, free WiFi that worked well, and power outlets with USB everywhere! What really impressed me were the staff. Absolutely everyone was friendly with a special shout out to the ladies working the breakfast area. One morning they were out of biscuits and she brought some right to my table. The next morning, she noticed I was holding a hard-boiled egg in a napkin for later. She brought me a whole bag! (I only took a few). The breakfast itself was pretty standard but the service was top notch. Not much more to say other than I would definitely stay here again. read more

We found bed bugs after waking up. Disgusting. Several phone calls to Hilton customer service was very pathetic. I would not stay here Hotel management came to inspect the bugs and confirmed them. They were kind enough to refund the hotel fees which is the absolute minimum. Seriously, why would anyone expect to pay for a room with bed bugs. So, I give them credit for that. We had to bag our own pillows that we took from home but we threw all that away. Hampton inns are usually a good choice when traveling. However this is my first stay ever that had bed bugs. read more

This is a really nicely renovated Hampton Inn. Everything is so clean, attractive and convenient. Pros: There are plugs and USB ports everywhere you want them to be. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. There are big, well placed mirrors for getting dressed. There's a mini refrigerator and a coffee maker, love that. And the air conditioner is cold, which makes me happy. Cons: The toilets are very low. I get the whole squatting thing being good for you, but it can be hard for someone with knee issues. If you need a dark room, bring a sleeping mask. There's lots of light from the hallway that comes in around the door. Bring your own pillow if you need a firm one, as the pillows here are lofty and squishy. And, if you get room 208, know it's going to be noisy. It backs up to the vending area and elevators and it sounded like someone making microwave popcorn by my head in 15 minute intervals all night. Luckily I had a white noise app and I was tired, so I was able to sleep through most of it. Lastly, about 8:45 am, there were very loudly talking, laughing Spanish speaking housekeepers in the hallway. I was already awake, but for anyone trying to sleep in...well, they wouldn't be. All that said, I would be happy to stay here again, I'd just ask for a different room. read more

We chose this hotel as it was under the Hilton umbrella. It was convenient to where all we were going for our trip to Gatlinburg. The room was nice. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. It was small but typical continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and really helpful. Only real problem with this particular stay was in the room. Our TV didn't work at all and the bedside lamp wasn't working either. The lamp they were able to fix while we went out for dinner. However the TV was an issue. The hotel was full so no other rooms to change to that had a working tv. The GM did take off on the cost of our room for the inconvenience of which we were grateful. We would stay here again. I would just say that a checklist should be implemented to check that all things work in a room prior to issuing the room to the next person. read more

Stayed here for a week from Aug. 21 to 27, 2015. The breakfast was pretty good-"make-your-own" waffles, yoghurt, fruit, cereal and toast every morning and then they alternate things like biscuits and gravy, cheese omelets, or sausage and French toast, etc. They were renovating while we were there but it wasn't a big deal- the elevator was a little old and if you were trying to sleep in the afternoon there was some noise from the work, but not big issues. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had no issues while we stayed. We were always pleased with how our room was cleaned. The only problem is after we have returned..we paid for the room with some cash and 2 debit cards (four of us were splitting the bill and weren't able to just give our money to one person). The cash transactions worked fine but apparently they had some trouble charging our cards correctly. Mine was re-credited with the total of my bill and they accidentally charged my aunt twice but hopefully it is now worked out. Throughout the process they have been friendly and helpful. Even though our convention was being held at the Wilderness at the Smokies hotel and convention center, I will be staying here instead because I believe it to be worth it. read more

not a happy camper, apparently gold status is useless here, they couldn't check us in at 1pm after riding 5 hrs straight, they're less than accommodating Additional days the front desk staff were polite and helpful, they kept the coffee full & offered fresh cookies. The room wasn't particularly clean lots of long Black hairs *shudder*. Blood spots on the sheets and a really gross toenail clipping on the floor. Yuck yuck yuck. I stayed with this hotel last week. Was bitten by bed bug on the back of my arm but did not notice until I checked out. Contacted Hilton corporate who then contacted hotel. Hotel denied they have a problem. Hampton has a 100% money back guarantee. I am also a Diamond member (highest level in frequent stay program) with Hilton so I travel for work for over 15 years and practically live in a hotel. In all my years of travel, I've only had this issue twice. Both with older Hampton's though it can happen with any chain, new or old. Still, it needs to be taken very seriously, which this hotel did not. Hilton Corporate did an excellent job of taking care of me. I chose this hotel because of location and cost. I will not stay there again! There are many Hilton brands in the area (Gatlinburg & Pidgeon Forge). I will book with one of them next time. read more

I originally gave this hotel a four star review however since my stay I have had problems getting a correct billing statement. I asked the hotel manager to contact me two days ago and I haven't heard from her. I also called 1-800 HAMPTON and customer care and have been getting the run around. I called today to speak with a supervisor and was told there weren't any available. I no longer recommend this hotel and I am considering changing hotel brands. read more

Our stay at this Hampton Inn was for 3 nights and let me tell you we were comfortable. We did have a few concerns and it was the toilet not flushing properly and the a/c not turning on, within 45 minutes they had a technician at our room getting it resolved. From then all was great, the breakfast was hot, the rooms were clean, the employees were all great and very welcoming. I am from Miami and if i were to visit again i would definitely stay here again. read more

I stayed at the Sevierville Tennessee Hampton in three nights in September 2019 of the staff was very helpful including those who clean the room did a great job and the price was really great to us I was really shocked when I got the room for $89 a night really good for Hampton but for that price I have come to expect a comfy bed not so much it felt like one in a much lower class motel I'm not real comfortable at all then I went to take a swim yesterday and it felt like a sauna bath almost got a headache the breakfast bar is way below the standard set by Hilton over the years the orange juice and apple juice taste in water down scramble to eggs tasted like cardboard I'm not sure exact that's on the way to describe itAlso the wallpaper in the hallways is coming apart at the seams looks pretty bad OK I think with the some minor repairs and so am I bringing in some nice comfortable mattresses in Hearon just here in there you guys can make it a great experience after all it's right down here in the Smokies right but overall not too bad I gave you a one star because it really wasn't a great day so that's all read more

I never give a 5-star review so this 4-star, is for an excellent Hotel. In a tourist area, hotels do not have to be extremely nice because they will sell out anyway. We always stay in Hilton properties so I've spent many nights at Hampton Inn. This one far exceeded my expectations as it has definitely been recently remodeled. The look of the room is extremely updated and very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was very very clean. Everything in the bathroom worked, I had all of the toiletries and plenty of towels. The woman at the front desk when we checked in at 10:30 at night was extremely friendly and more than helpful with information about the area and a map. There was of course coffee, water, and cocoa and tea available all night in the lobby. Something I love about Hampton Inns. The pool was very clean and pretty good size. Open till 10. The fitness center was extremely tiny but there was no one else in it with me so it was just fine. It opens at 6. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. It is right across from a Starbucks and The Diner. Also a large Kroger if you need anything that you may have how forgotten at home. We will definitely stay here again if the need arises. I highly recommend this hotel. read more

The staff were very nice and accommodating, but the room could have used some help! It was fairly small and nothing special. Wasn't dirty, but not exceptionally clean. Typical continental breakfast, nothing extraordinary. My daughter and I also woke up with a couple itchy bug bites that weren't there the night before... but not bed bugs! The pool is nice, just a little murky. For the price, I don't think we'd stay at this location again. read more

Considering the price of Hampton inn I think it's ridiculous that they don't have free WiFi unless you want to sign up for the Hilton Honors program. Practically every hotel in the US has free WiFi. I will never stay in any Hilton affiliated hotel again. read more
