Electronic let card would not work at all during stay. Breakfast is average. Pools are good. Stayed Sunday - Saturday, housekeepers only came one time. Had to ask for towels every other day which was challenging bc the staff acted as if they didn't speak English. Took the trash to lobby as the can in room was small and no housekeepers and for it. The beds are 4/10. Room was cleaned about 0/10. Stains on items. Dust. Hair. Won't stay here again when there are so many options. read more

Electronic key in app did not work, got a notification on my phone to see the front desk. When I went there the woman told me that my credit card was declined, which is not true. I paid in full a week prior to check in which I confirmed with my credit card company. Either way she immediately issued me a key card without asking for alternative payment which leans to the fact my card was not (and would never be) declined. This untrue public statement was an embarrassment to me in front of my father. The room was clean at first glance but the cabinets in the bathroom need to be wiped down, there was hair in the shower so the detail work is missing. Breakfast was an average hotel breakfast. Overall, the stay was alright could have been better, could have been worse. read more

Ample parking. Indoor and outdoor pools. We did the mobile check in with no issues. Make sure to grab a physical key if you want access to amenities as your digital key will not work on them. The exercise room is well equipped with weights ranging from 5-50 lbs, exercise ball, wall balls, treadmills (disposable headphones available at front desk), water, towels, weight machine, bench, etc. the rooms are clean. The breakfast is fresh, ready and available daily from 7-10 am. The front desk and breakfast staff are helpful and friendly. Convenient to many downtown areas but away from the noise of the strip. i would say it's a nice average hotel. staff is nice not overly friendly but nice. free bfast with coffee, waffles, bagels, muffins, eggs, cereal etc. but bad at all. the room wasn't as clean as i would like. they don't stock it for enough people, they knew we had 3 adults and a toddler, we need towels and more than 2 individual coffee packs, so you gotta ask for stuff. they only clean every other day, which if you don't have a small child is okay but we have diaper etc so it's not ideal. parking is easy and free. about 15 mins from gatlinburg with no traffic but there's always traffic. the shower didn't get hot water quickly and it would go fast. tv stations didn't match what would come on tv, for example the tv would read "disney" but what would be playing is "hallmark". it's annoying. overall it's an average place. not super pricey but not cheap. read more

The worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, I never leave reviews but I'm definitely looking farther into this one. We arrived around midnight and I called before we got there and booked over the phone. We had a confirmation code and all the receipts, upon arrival they told me I hadn't booked a room. I fought back and forth and they proceeded to tell me I couldn't get a refund and couldn't get a room either. A manager finally told me they would give me a room and they would figure the rest out the next day, mind you this was around 2am by this time. My wife and I, with 3 kids made it to our room and shut the door. No longer made it to our bed and got a knock on the door with the receptionist telling me if I didn't pay for a room they were kicking me out. I followed him back downstairs and we called his manager (Kassidy Stanley), who told me I was trying to get a free room and if I didn't want to pay I had to leave. We had called the number they have for booking several times and they confirmed my booking. Kassidy continued talking very rude to me insisting that I was in the wrong and they wasn't willing to work with me unless I paid for my room again. Around 2am I had to pack up my wife and three children and look for another hotel. Will never stay at any of these hotels again this situation was handled very unprofessional and I'm definitely going to be contacting someone about it. read more

Not sure where to start but Lionel, the manager is a completely pompous person who doesn't understand customer service. We originally made a reservation for 3 days, then later (weeks prior to visit) decided we would do 6 days instead. I went online and to cancel my original 3 days and make a 6 day, but all the days weren't available. I was able to make a reservation to add on 3 days under a different confirmation number though. We called and spoke with the GM when we did this (weeks prior), a very polite lady who said no worries it's the same type of room we will simply check you in and out and will stay in the same room, I even notated this in the details of my reservations. When we checked in the very good employee William assured us no big deal, we were told to simply revalidate our keys on the first checkout date and stay in the same room. We stopped by the desk before 11am after the first 3 days to revalidate the keys and Lionel says no that he's the manager and that isn't happening. He acted as though we were liars about what we told him and we told him we worked law enforcement and I was a Veteran we weren't lying but he had a smug response to that also stating he didn't care. He said everyone told us wrong and we had to leave and come back at 4pm. After back and forth that was unproductive I said fine where can we move? When we asked what room can we bring our stuff to and he said they are cleaning and he didn't know and refused to move us into another room until that evening. He refused to exercise his authority and have housekeeping clean a room for us. He said he wouldn't know until later but we had to leave. Lionel said he needed those connecting rooms for 427 and 429. Amazing he knew in advance he needed those rooms but didn't know where we would move later, hmm. I asked why because lots of rooms are connecting. He didn't have a reason he simply abused his authority in an immature and flippant manner. So Lionel wanted us to get our stuff and vacate until 4pm checkin later in the day. So we ended up getting our stuff and leaving completely to a new hotel. Out of the approximate 130 rooms at the hotel Lionel had to have that room and didn't care about the notes and didn't care what the GM said. I told him I'd leave a negative review and he said he didn't care because all reviews are responded to by him anyway it wouldn't matter. I said I'd write Hilton we are diamond members and have never been treated so poorly. He said pompously go ahead those get sent to me too in a smart aleck manner. Lionel was hateful and disrespectful for no valid reason. In the end we went to a far nicer Hampton Inn down the road where they were glad to have our business. If we didn't have the diamond membership and stay at Hilton 60-75 days a year I would switch companies, but Lionel's actions I know are not indicative of how Hilton normally acts. Lionel requested I put in my review that he controls that I told him I hope he can't rent the room and that he chokes on it. The room was decent but the locks on all the doors are super loud and you hear the doors slamming closed and locks engaging all night like a horrible musical. Lionel likes to manipulate and distort the facts in so below is my response to his side: Lionel, as you clearly stated you control the review responses but it doesn't change facts. Your GM and employees assured us no issue merging two confirmations. You chose to act immature with your authority and wanted us to move out for the day which is unreasonable not us being unreasonable when we already had a room. You did nothing to accommodate us you wanted us to return after 4pm. You called us liars about the assurances your GM made which is why we defended our integrity by stating we are LEO's and I was a combat veteran to respond to your lying allegations. Sorry my status as a combat veteran intimidates you, I didn't intentionally treat you poorly because you're a skinny twerp with a smart mouth, I treated you as you treated us. We were beyond reasonable you clearly had some other motive behind your actions with your behavior, it's shameful and you're low class. read more

This is a clean, well-run hotel close to the Island and many other Pigeon Forge attractions. We tried to check in early, but there were not rooms available. I was offered a different room, but then the head housekeeper said my room would be available in 10 minutes. Yay for communication! We had a king room. There was a light-blocking curtain that pulled between the sitting area and the bed so that there was nominal privacy if someone was sleeping on the sofa bed, but as there was only one TV and no actual door dividing the sleeping areas, you couldn't really watch TV after the kids go to bed without disturbing them. The room had a microwave, dishwasher, mid-sized refrigerator, and kitchen sink. It was convenient to be able to keep drinks in the fridge or have the option to reheat leftovers. The bathroom was recently renovated, but the water pressure in the shower was unusually poor. One of the nicest features of the hotel is the outdoor pool that has a decent slide and also some water features for the kids. As the hotel is on a hill, adults can appreciate the views of the surrounding mountains while watching over their splashing kids. There's also an indoor poor, but it's a standard pool, no cool features. There's a free breakfast included with the room. It's pretty basic, usually DIY waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt and a single egg and meat offering. The orange juice was awful. Only apples for fruit. However, it was convenient and free, so I can't complain too much. My only gripe is that housekeeping isn't daily/automatic. They'll clean your room if you have a longer stay, or if you call and ask them to come and clean. I guess the days of daily maid service are done for this class of hotel. We were there only 2 nights, so I suppose it wasn't a huge deal, but I might look to a fancier hotel in the future because I really do like having my bed made up and towels tidied when I'm on vacation. read more

I haven't even had the opportunity even to stay here and I've had the worse customer service experience over a cancellation fee. I was bounced around for over two days and was left on hold for over a combined 45mins. After Speaking with the reginal manager who would have able to approved a cancellation fee. ( she said next time read the fine print) who decided to speak to me like a child and basically pushed me off again. Now apparently waiting for a response from their COO Tim rice through email for a solution. If the customer service is anything like their hotel, this is not a place I would ever recommend. read more

Overall it was a very nice hotel, but it had some drawbacks....first of all when we walked in the floor was smelling like mold. Also the curtain/shade was broken so it was hard to open the shade. But the area was nice and breakfast was ok. There was waffles bagels muffins and other things like that. But during the night we heard dogs barking and kids across the room slamming doors. read more

Bed was hard an uncomfortable. I couldn't actually lay on my back because it was a little lumpy and uneven. Parts of the mattress was okay and other parts make my arm numb. The staff at the desk was not all that friendly or nice. Breakfast was tragic. Every day was the same thing with no variation. The eggs were very spongy. Not sure what they were but didn't taste like real scrambled eggs. I am an egg eater and eat them every single day. Even with salt and pepper I couldn't eat them. The sausage was cold every day. I even came right at 7 hoping for better results. The waffle mix, which I tried because the rest was terrible, was also terrible. It had no taste. When I added syrup to the waffle for taste it was like a weird sponge that absorbed the syrup and the waffle turned to soup. So...couldn't eat waffle either. I keep my rating at 3 stars because they had an indoor and out door pool. They had a spin room. They rooms were nice and clean. Otherwise I really wanted to put a 2 star. read more

We have been diamond members for years averaging at least 80 stays in Hilton properties every year. This is by far the absolute worst experience we have ever encountered, if I could rate a zero I certainly would. We booked 3 nights at this hotel and later found out we were gonna be able to stay more days in the area. We normally would cancel the stay and rebook but after looking into it, the cost was gonna to be more expensive.We called the hotel to confirm if we added 3 additional days that the could combine the stay and we would be able to stay in the same room with no issues. The guy on the phone was new and transferred us to the manager who assured us that she put a note in and that would not be a problem at all. Upon arrival, we were greeted by William at the front desk and we explained the situation to him. He looked in the computer and said we were good to go just come down on the morning of the new reservation so they could reload room key and make a new parking lot tag for the vehicle. This morning we went down to do do and was told by Lionel Williams that no we could not have that room and that we would have to check out, get our belongings out of the room and come back at 4 pm to check in. We explained we had spoke to both the manager on the phone prior to booking and William when we arrived and was assured we just had to update the room key and parking pass. He told us he doesn't know who we talked to because he is the manager and we must have talked to just the sales lady. We explained to him we had already purchased tickets and were on constingent time frames. He said he couldn't help us and he would have to get us another room cleaned and we would have to check back in at 4. We again explained how we had tickets to attractions and couldn't do that and asked if he could get someone to clean another room then so could still make our standing engagements. He said he could not do that. He had housekeeping on all floors and refused to ask one of them to clean a room so we could move into it even though we were told we would not have to move. He told us the room we occupied the previous 3 nights was an adjoining room and he already sold it. All the rooms on that floor are adjourning. He was beyond rude, unhelpful and arrogant. He continued to tell us he was the manager and it was his rules. We explained we are diamond members and that we were being treated poorly. He said he was just doing his job. We told him that this was the most pitiful service we have ever received at any property and that we would be doing a review to reflect that. He said he didn't care all reviews came through him. He said even Hilton sends the reviews back to him instead of them answering and he didn't care. We asked for his card and he is absolutely not the manager he is director of guest services per his card. Melissa Keith is the general manager. We tried to call her to resolve this issue but it is a weekend and it went to voicemail. We were treated beyond poorly and spoke to rudely and arrogantly by Lionel. We went upstairs to search for another property to stay at. With it being a heavily tourist area as well as the weekend we were certain we wouldn't be able to find anywhere. Luckily we were able to find a place. We went downstairs and told him we were checking out and wanted a receipt and he had told us if we chose to check out he would waive the cancellation fee since it was less than 24 hours. We asked to have that in writing. He refused. He was very pompous and extremely rude during the entire encounter. The property was newer, close to attractions but it was very noisy all three days. Doors slamming all day and night, dogs barking, alarms blaring. Walls are paper thin. Very noisy and disruptive to anyone trying to rest. The pool is open till 11. I have truly never felt so devalued as a diamond member. I would never stay here again nor would I ever recommend anyone to. We were super inconvenienced and drove 12 hours to get here. Absolutely Unacceptable. Lionel is not a bit hospitable nor is he about assisting the customer. read more

Wow! Any other hotel I stay in will be compared to this one. This place rocks, I'll be sure to look for Home2 hotels in the future. Very clean, location is perfect to the shops and the convention center. The Multiple pool areas were great for the kids to enjoy. This place is new and just and slightly new twist on hotels. Great, reasonably-priced place to stay in Pigeon Forge! The front desk was very accommodating and the views were perfect!! Loved the patio. The rooms are a bit more well-worn than some Home2 hotels we've stayed at, but that is to be expected in a highly traveled tourist town. Fortunately, the walls are very well sound-proofed, so noise was never an issue even with the hotel being very full during our stay. Pros: the are remodeling the hotel, provide an included breakfast, good nightly rates. Cons: they say they are pet friendly, but not only do they charge an extra fee (was not on the site or asked when doing an online reservation) but when they find out you have one, their attitude towards you changes. They even make you use a separate entrance and exit. The attitude change happened with two different employees. They don't have carpet in the room...to me this is a con. They could do better at cleaning the room. Bathroom was questionable. They have the beds on this metal box or maybe it is decoration, but everytime you move in bed it makes noise and wakes you up. I hope your stay is better. read more

This was our first time visiting this hotel, we are regular Hilton guest but normally stay at another location in town. I chose this location because it was closer to the attractions and seemed to have greater amenities than the one we normally stay with. This location is within minutes of the Island and you have a great view of the Ferris wheel at night. Our dates we stayed were from 02/14/2020 - 02/17/2020. Upon entering our room we found it to be extremely clean and extremely large, the only downside was it seems a wash cloth had been left hanging on the shower curtain. We don't know if this was from the cleaning staff or a prior guest, we chose not to say anything about it because everything else was extremely clean and we didn't want to make a fuss. For being a pet friendly hotel as well, we never once heard any dogs barking and we did see a few in the hallway when coming and going to our room. They do supply shower gel and shampoo within the shower which I thought was an extremely nice touch as well as all the typical bathroom amenities. There is a dishwasher, full sink, microwave and refrigerator provided in the room, I was told a hotplate could be provided upon request but we did not use this. All plates, bowls and silverware as well as dish washing liquid to clean those are supplied. We loved this touch as often it can be expensive to eat out and having those in the room was extremely helpful. We stayed in a 2 queen beds room on the 1st floor and I do have to say the bed was a bit firm for what I'm comfortable with. The hotel was extremely quiet except the usual mornings when people are constantly slamming doors as they're either leaving or checking out. Breakfast was actually surprisingly good considering most hotel breakfast is bland most of the time. We did use the indoor pool as well, it's only 4 1/2 feet deep so harder for adults to enjoy, I wish it had been deeper. The outdoor patio has a fire pit which we loved and took full advantage of. I do have one compliant however, I'm unsure of how new this hotel is but the lights at the intersection are not working. This can make turning in extremely hard as people are not following intersection rules. You may sit there quite some time before you are able to pull in, but it seems they are working on getting this up and running. Overall our trip was great and we will be staying in this hotel again when we visit. I'd highly recommend it. read more

The hot breakfast was excellent with self made waffles, omelets, cereal, muffins, yogurt and more. They also accept pets as we saw a few dogs in the hallways. This hotel is beautiful inside and outside. We stayed in a suite room. The room was huge! It was nice having our own fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The beds were really comfortable. The only thing was my friend and I wanted to spilt the cost of the hotel and they put the entire stay on her debit card which caused her account to be in the negative and then she had to pay fees for that. We weren't able to get it all straightened out until checking out of the hotel. The only thing missing was a hot tub. The hotel is beautiful we will be back. read more

We recently stayed at the Home2 Suites on our vacation to the Smokies, & I must say that I enjoyed our stay. The suites were spacious & accurate to the posted pictures, furthermore, the hotel seemed to be well kept - mostly anyway. There was a small amount of grime near the edge of our shower, but aside from this I was impressed. I did have some minor concerns with regards to COVID precautions. Things started out good. Upon our entry to the hotel staff took our temperatures & gave us a verbal COVID screen, furthermore, they had a policy stating that guests had to wear masks outside of their rooms, however, it really wasn't enforced in any meaningful way - unfortunately. Additionally, there were sanitizer stations throughout the hotel. They also altered their breakfast offerings, but in ways that made no sense at all. They had a lot of grab & go kinda stuff, but you had to open drawers & refrigerators to access the food. A lot of it needed to be microwaved as well. The food tasted good, but there was A LOT of touching shared surfaces I didn't care for. In my opinion, staff should have been serving food to guests, even if it were "cafeteria" style. They also paid no mind to managing the amount of people in their pools. We constantly had to play this game of monitoring how many people were in the pool. Many times we found ourselves in the pool, only to have a small army of children or drunks crowd us out of the pool. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but with COVID it's a huge concern. I also didn't see staff go out to sanitize anything in the pool area the whole time we were there. In summation, we really enjoyed our stay at the Home2 Suites, but we would have been more at rest had staff been more vigilant with regards to their COVID precautions. COVID aside, this is a great hotel. I much prefer Hayatt properties, but they aren't any in the area. You just get more bang for your buck with Hayatt - much nicer. While I thought the hotel looks very cool and modern it doesn't really compare to Homewood suites. It doesn't hurt to try new things right? Hotel is convenient to everything and could maybe get a foul-ball from the Ripken experience. The room feels like it was put together by IKEA. The television is on the other side of the room of the beds. Seems like there needs to be two televisions if someone is using the sofa bed as a resting place. The breakfast is just a little bit strange with all the prepackaged foods. I felt like Marie Osmond was unloading her unused Nutrisystem meals. It just felt odd to put everything in the microwave. However, the waffles are pretty much standard at all Hilton brand hotels. Tip, if you are done with your meal during peak breakfast hours, please get up from the table and don't sit around and play on your smart device while others are standing up to eat. Pool was fun with a cool slide and dump buckets. You can pick up some board games and have some family fun or fight night, whichever you prefer. Ping pong table is there, but in heavy use. There is no stove in the room but you can request a portable cooktop with pans. The microwave makes excellent popcorn. Nice sized fridge allows you to store leftovers that you will throw away on your departure date. There were a ton of dogs staying here. So, if you are allergic make sure you bring your meds read more

Noisy...noisy...noisy The rooms are very noisy. You can hear everything around you including the children running across the floor above your head. The pool is noisy. Conversations bounce off the walls and then echo all around you. Breakfast is mediocre microwaveable food that either doesn't get warm through or is over done. No in between. No hot tub. That's on me though, I assumed since there was an indoor heated pool there would be a hot tub. I found the beds to be too hard. So those are your cons Pros...the whole place is very clean and modern looking and the fitness room is nicely spaced out with good machines. Staff is friendly and the coffee is good. We had a beautiful view from our window and my son thought the elevator was "super fast". If you are looking for an end of the day crash pad that won't cost you a fortune it's fine but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway...look elsewhere. read more

Lovely facility but.... the pool sign says open at 8:00. The desk says 9:00. The pool man was not finished cleaning until 9:20 and he left his equipment out and a child tripped over it and fell. The chemicals were added and all the equipment was turned off for several minutes a few different times. My son in law went down for breakfast about 6 minutes before closing and made a waffle the lady stated that she supposed he wanted syrup as well and took it away. He was with his 16 month old. He stated he had 3 minutes left and she responded that they usually close early. Probably best to keep times current when guests are involved. read more

It I could give this hotel zero stars!! After a 9 hour drive we got to the Our room put our stuff away at went to have a good dinner. Came back around 11 pm we all showered and got in bed. My son got in bed first and fell asleep then my husband who had a cold and then myself. When I crawled in bed I noticed a weird smell! It was freakin dried urine !! This hotel literally zipped the bed bug cover over wet urine !! It was so bad all of our clothes smelled like urine! Our body's smelled like someone else's Urine ! We all had to get up and shower again. We had no more clean pajamas( given we only brought one pair bc we were only planning to be there 3 days. Worst part is I called the front desk and the girl at the front desk said I'm sorry we are all booked out of rooms there's nothing we can do for you. My husband went down to complain and after an hour of waiting in a room that smelled like old rotten urine a really sweet door man came upstairs and told us the only solution at 1am is to pack up all of our stuff and move to another hotel for the night. But they can only do 1 night accommodations and that we needed to be back in our room that smelled like pee by 9am. Guys we just drove 9 hours we are exhausted our kid is exhausted and had to wake him from his sleep to shower again. We asked if they would pay to wash our pajamas and that was a fight in itself .. we declined moving to another hotel and told them to please bring in another mattress .. so we ended up sleeping in this room that smelled like urine and within the hour they brought in another mattress from another room . The next morning I went down for coffee and dead bugs came out of the coffee pot. Tiny black dead bugs. We literally spent one day and TN and drove home the next night. The smell of urine in our room lingered. This is one of the worst trips and hotels ever!! read more

My husband, 2 kids and I Stayed here one night on a drive home from visiting family up north. We usually come about twice a year but have never stayed at this hotel. This is a new hotel so it is very clean. The suite we stayed in was very spacious. The Bed was very comfortable and sheets felt amazing. The kids enjoyed the pool which had a slide. Breakfast was good. We will definitely be staying here on future trips to pigeon forge. read more

Months before booking we called to make sure this was a pet friendly hotel, all we were told was "Yes bring your pets! We are a pet friendly hotel" not once was it mentioned the $100 non refundable pet deposit (I get it & accepted it). Then as we're leaving we get a call that there was a complaint about our dogs making noises (yipping from their crates as people walk outside the door) so we have to change rooms and are told if we get one more complaint we will be charged $250. Being a Hilton Honors member/friends&family account I have NEVER experienced such a terrible "pet friendly" hotel. On top of that I felt like our needs were put to the side because we are on the younger end (23-25) and not taken as seriously. Lovely new property, pet friendly, great service! We stayed at this new Home2 Suites when we traveled to the area for the eclipse. We stayed for five days with a new puppy. The layout of the room is like a small apartment - nice kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. We had a nice couch, flexible desk/table, and plenty of storage space. The furnishings are modern and really nice and tidy. The lobby area is very hip with nice flexible furniture options to hold different configurations of people hanging out. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. The gym has really up to date equipment and features. There was an outdoor pool with a slide and other kid friendly features plus an indoor pool. Also, there are shared gas grills for cooking up your dinner! As for the dog specifics... they were not just pet friendly, they are incredibly pet welcoming with rooms on the first floor, a nearby grassy pet relief area, and door hangers to alert staff to the presence of a dog. Home2 could be my new favorite hotel chain after this amazing experience! read more

Great bang for buck ! Im in the Hotel/Resort business and stay in allot of varied resorts and hotels. This was amazing for its category. Staff was excellent, lobby was clean and modern. Fitness center fully loaded Pool with a slide and water features ! never seen it at this price. Room was large and had a kitchen'et with everything needed for long stay. The rooms are nice and the beds are GREAT. Super cold a/c and clean. However don't let the "400" option breakfast sway your decision. While the food is above average, the selections are not great. If you stay for a week the breakfast will get old after 2 days as they don't change it up. And there is NO healthy options other than yogurt. My wife and I only stayed at this hotel 1 night BUT we left a cabin to come here and 100% happy that we did. Everything about the stay was great the speedy ness of the checkin/checkout process, the rooms, the staff, everything. My wife and I have come to the conclusion that we will no longer pay big bucks for a cabin when we can come stay here and be a lot more comfortable and happy. read more
