Excessive soggy breading removed from honey shrimp meal.

Restaurant was near the hotel I was staying at. Cashier was very nice. Food was not very nice. Ordered wonton soup, fried wontons and honey shrimp. Wontons in soup very thick and doughy, fried wontons soggy and dripping with grease( threw away), honey shrimp with excessive breading, soggy and drenched with honey. Removed the breading from the shrimp-see pic. Shrimp under all the breading were good and a nice size. Take out only. Sorry will not return.

This is what you end up getting. Looks nothing like what they advertised. Dry chicken with barely any sauce.

This place looked good from the menu and pictures of the food. When I got it all I got was dry chicken with hardly any sauce. This has to be the worse Chinese I've gotten. Most places around here aren't even that good maybe average at best but I thought this would be better from the pictures. The rice wasn't even cooked all the way it was hard and the broccoli was also hard.

Good atmosphere and good quality. Very quick. Seems to be empty most of the time. Booths are REALLY squeaky.

My husband and I were driving back to Baltimore from the Finger Lakes about a week ago and decided…read moreit was the perfect time to check out the Fence Drive In! The Fence Drive In looks charmingly old, and it does have a long history in Milton! It was once a tent restaurant (called "the Breezy Tent") which opened in the 1930s. The owners then built a permanent structure on the site in 1951. After several floods that almost destroyed the building, the owners sold it in 1975. Since then it's been owned by the Rabb family (now run by the second generation), and they've maintained the historical charm of the restaurant. Today, it's still a drive in with car hop service. The restaurant is right on the Susquehanna River, and they have several comfortable picnic tables facing the water with some twinkly lights over them, too. While this looked incredibly charming, we wanted the classic car hop experience for our first visit. So we drove up, parked, and waited just a minute or two for a waitress to come out to our car with a menu. Later, she brought our food out to us on the tray that clips on on to the driver-side window. It's an incredible bit of Americana that is almost gone now, but you can have that vintage experience at the Fence Drive In! Their menu has the classics you expect (burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes) with lots of seafood options as well (fish sandwich, shrimp). We shared a cheeseburger with everything (ketchup, mustard, onion, relish) and their scallop basket (lightly breaded and fried scallops) on top of French fries, with a side of coleslaw. The food was great. The burger was a classic. The scallops were really well fried - the breading was light the scallops got a crisp on the outside but weren't overcooked. The service was friendly and fast. They are a cash only establishment, but that just adds to the retro charm. It's a gem. It's not a just a quick restaurant to grab a bite at; they're preserving an American classic. So stop by the ATM inside if you need to, but definitely stop by The Fence In for a great meal and some nostalgia if you're anywhere near Milton PA.

Great nostalgic little spot!…read more Pull in or go inside their little "hut" of a dining area. Please know they're cash only but they do have an atm. Super cute and clean inside. Sit at the table and someone will come take your order. Not a huge selection but perfect for a lunch with friends or family. It was raining so we couldn't sit at the picnic table to enjoy the river but a great spot. Burgers, hot dogs, hot ham and cheese, fish with hand cut fries and a few soda choices as well as milkshakes! Def check them out. Spent $28 for three platters!

The total dish was so great, I can't say enough, blue cheese stuffing was ro die for. Also had the mushroom bisque which was perfect, not heavy, just so tasty. My Mother had the duck and the compliments came with every bite. She started with a salad that had apples, walnuts, fennel and some other stuff all blended to a perfect balance. The service ny Autumn was great as well. I don't know the hostess name but she went out of her way as well. Hats off to Melissa, the executive chef, for creating such a lovely and creative menu. Ambience here is cozy with a fireplace in an converted grand home right on Market Str. We would highly recommend it. I come up to Lewisburg every few months to visit family and its as good as the Michelin starred places in Miami.

Elizabeth's An American Bistro - The Secret Ingredient to Performance…read more When our son was in Lewisburg for the Patriot League Swimming Championships, we needed a place that could fuel him with real, nutritious, high-quality food--not just a generic restaurant meal. We found exactly that (and more) at Elizabeth's An American Bistro. So let's talk about the Winter Bowl. This isn't just a salad--it's a perfectly engineered, performance-enhancing masterpiece. It's as if Michelin Star Chefs and Nutrition Scientists had a meeting where the goal was nothing less than perfection, inspiration, and artistry. Beets hummus, goat cheese, avocado, roasted cauliflower, pickled beets, walnuts, baby bean salad, quinoa, and grilled focaccia--already a winning lineup. But we added perfectly grilled salmon for extra protein, turning it into the ultimate mid-meet meal. And here's the crazy part: each time he had it for lunch, he won his evening event, breaking the Bucknell Pool and Patriot League records. Coincidence? I think not. Beyond the food-as-fuel aspect, Elizabeth's is simply impressive. We immediately saw their attention to detail is next-level, from the ingredients to the service. We placed a customized takeout order (not always easy at a high-end restaurant), and they absolutely nailed it--each time. No hassle, no mistakes, just exceptional execution. I loved when I heard the manager tell staff "Add bread, he'll need the carbohydrates." And this isn't any bread - it us high level European Bread Craft And then there were the scones and brownies. She told us "You may want more than one " But they were huge. I thought "respectable value added sales skills..." But she was right. I've had a lot of scones in my life, and these were hands-down the best I've ever eaten. Flaky, flavorful, and the perfect balance of chewy richness without heaviness. The brownies? Decadent, deeply chocolatey, fudgey, and exactly what you want when you're rewarding yourself for any performances--or just making it through another Tuesday. These are the bakery items of beautiful seduction, so use this power with care. The ambiance? Fantastic. Cozy but classy, perfect for a special night out or a casual lunch with friends. The wine list? Extraordinarily Impressive. Thoughtfully curated, with options that pair perfectly with their dishes. I could tell I could spend weeks here. Bottom line: Elizabeth's isn't just a great restaurant--it's an experience. Whether you're looking for a world-class meal, a place that respects high-performance nutrition, or just a phenomenal scone, this is the spot. 5/5 - If I could rate it higher, I would.
