I really hate to give poor reviews but am left with no choice tonight. Got there shortly after 7 pm, left about 9 pm! Really- really... over half an hour wait for appetizers, another half hour or more for food. By that time I was ready to tell them to pack and go. One waitress to manage all tables. One table with 8 people and 10 plates or more of sushi. Finally got my sushi - no ginger, had to ask for it. Noodles with Teriyaki plate are really terrible tasting. The tempura plate good, but rice plain and fried are not anything special and under seasoned. Miso broth soup very good! I won't go back on an evening dinner time. Only ambiance is a TV of no ambiance enhancement. Probably will not return, too many other choices to waste time like tonight when we were tired. read more

I've really only ordered takeout from this place and for being only five minutes from my house it's pretty decent. So I can't speak on the service, but the restaurant is small and quaint. If you happen to be in the Nixa area and have a hankering for sushi, I'd probably give it a try. read more

My husband and I went in to try it for the first time. We loved the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the speed if service. We went on a Monday so it wasn't super busy. As an appetizer we got Crab Rangoons. Then I ordered the Viva California roll, and the Cashew chicken; which came with rice, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. Not only was the sushi fresh, but the food was HOT! 10/10 will definitely be going again!!! read more

Food good, show poor, no service, never got refill for our drink. Ticked me off that we ate there for lunch and was bringing a staff who couldn't make it for lunch a lunch to go and they did not have lunch to go. Only dinner price which was 4 dollars more. Stupid policy. read more

Our family has eaten here a few times and love the sushi - other meals on the menu are hit & miss. Service was good this trip. Only one waitress so it's a little slow but I've had worse. Ambiance is the worst here....there is no background music. Makes it really weird - you feel like you have to whisper at your table. read more

Went here while on a vacation near Nixa. Sushi is great, we had a few hiccups in our order (not due to the waitress but the sushi chefs), but nothing that ruined our evening. It's definitely not the nicest restaurant we've been too but I'd recommend it if you are wanting sushi! A bit more pricey than I'm used too for sushi but with everything going up right now, I understand. All in all, i'd say to check it out! read more

The sushi rolls - I had the salmon lovers and the crazy roll and omg, I was so impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the food. Wanted to try a new sushi joint and boy oh boy did I pick the right place. Taste is obviously important to Hana Grill, not just thrown together but delicious and special. From seating to paying, our Friday night dinner took 1 1/2 hours for their signature dish Hibachi Chicken & a California roll. I seriously believe the cooks prepare their takeout as priority as those who dine-in receives torturous wait! Slow, slower, slowest service ever. And no music. Silent as a library. Understaffed is an UNDERstatement. One overwhelmed server for a packed dining room (although Drew was unflappable & polite if apologetic). It's a Friday night for Pete's sake! Went to Hana grill for the 1st time and have to say we were really impressed! We didn't expect much since our other first times at other restaurants in Nixa have not been good but Hana is legit. We ordered the rolls Gold Dragon and Pirate Ship. Both were very good! On a side note I ordered a Sapporo canned beer and it was served very cold and served with a frosty mug. Doesn't look like much on the outside but absolutely worth it. We'll be back! read more

Our first time at Hana Grill left us anxiously waiting to come back soon. Our waiter, Drew, waited up to NINE tables on his own FLAWLESSLY. Drew sat, served, cashiered, and bussed each table himself. After ordering our to-go order in the relatively empty restaurant, the hostess told us it would take 45 minutes for our order to be ready. So I left went and picked up food for my kids, that took about 30 minutes. When we came back from getting our kids food it had easily been a half hour since placing our order. We go back in expecting to wait a few minutes longer... only to find they had not even started our order. Instead they we're working on other orders and tables that came in after ours. The hostess informed us she didn't know how long our order would take and she would bring it out to use. After waiting another 15 minutes in the car we went back in and they still had not completed our order. The hostess again told us she didn't know how much longer it would take. So here I am I have waited an hour and half, my kid's food is cold and I still don't have my order. $130 order, crappy service. Very disappointed. We will not be coming back here. This was best Hibachi and Sushi we have had ever in Nixa area We loved it and service was excellent too. My husband had the Hana Chicken which was great and reminded us of the Spicy Chicken at PF Chang's which is always a treat for us! I had the Hibachi Shrimp and it was good too, the shrimp was not over cooked which I have found in most restaurants around here here. And lastly but not least we got Sushi for an appetizer and the yellowtail nigiri was so fresh as was our Philly Roll - We loved both! Everyone should try Hana Grill in Nixa! read more

For this place changing names every few months, this most recent seems to have lasted and it gets the job done. Although, it was rather disappointing that after we ordered only two bud lights, they were out of them. We like to drink when we eat and generally spend a fair amount of money. For being a local japanese sushi house without having to drive into Springfield, the quality here is fair. Our steak did not come out cooked to order, and the rice & noodles were both pretty flavorless. The price of the dinner combos aren't bad because of how much you get. We have ran into a couple of problems. All in all, if you live locally and just don't feel like driving into town, this place will do the trick for your sushi craving* read more

The food here is amazing and that why I continue to come back but this restaurant is ALWAYS understaffed. There's never more than one waitress and I've heard that the cooking staff is short as well. The customer service is nice but always stressed and running around like crazy. I believe the owners are trying to run it cheaply by not hiring anymore staff and it's killing them. Every time I order to go it is always an hour+ before I get my food. read more

Their sushi is good. Sashimi hasn't ever gotten me sick which is a plus. A little pricey for the special rolls but worth it. I would never EVER buy cheap sushi anyways i would never trust it. Hana hasn't ever gotten me sick and seing as this is Missouri I'm impressed. Definitely worth a try! read more

After not wanting to drive into Springfield for sushi I decided to try Hana for take out. I got the shrimp tempura roll and I absolutely loved it! I could see the chef making it as i waited, which i though was great, and the staff was very friendly! I will be dining in next time for sure! read more
