When my skin is acting up, she also explains things clearly and has even looked at the skincare products I use, going over ingredients and what might be working or not. You can tell she is very knowledgeable and cares about helping you understand your skin. The clinic is always clean, relaxing, and welcoming, and everyone there is very kind. I keep going back because I trust them, feel comfortable, and I've really seen consistent results.

Irene's Skintopia made the appointments easy, and they were very friendly. I believe it was Irene herself who did the procedure: 15mins for cream anesthesia, and only few mins for actual removal of millia. She made it look easy peasy! :) I was able to see the procedure and staff helped record video of it, and we all laughed because it was like Dr.Pimplepoppers. AWWW It was so satisfying to see millia popping out like a ping pong balls. We squashed it and said ewww. lol. From the moment I walked in, Lydia the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. The lobby was clean and beautifully decorated. I also noticed how organized the product displays were. I met with Manager Jennifer for a complimentary consultation. She was so knowledgeable and informative. She recommended me products from DBH and Dr. Grandel. I had the Karis facial for anti-aging and skin rejuvenation by Esthetician Michelle. Michelle was so incredible! She was kind and had skilled techniques. It was so relaxing and my skin felt hydrated, refreshed, and noticeably brighter afterward. The entire experience felt luxurious and personalized. When I called to make an appointment and was asked for the voucher information over the phone. I found that a little odd and decided to provide that info at appointment time. I was serviced by Eva. Overall the facial and little massage of the back and arms was great. There were some moments the facial massage was a little too much pressure for the neck/face area, but I was overall pleased with the experience. Once the service was complete Eva TOLD me to leave a tip of at least 20 percent. I responded "I intended to tip anyhow because I enjoyed my service, but you cannot tell me to tip or how much." I left the tip in an envelope where all these signs about tipping are in the service room. After I returned to the reception area Eva is waiting for aggressively pointing at the tip envelope. The lady at the front desk asked how my service was. I replied" I enjoyed my service, but after being told to tip and how much in the service room and now Eva pointing at the tip envelopes I'm very annoyed. A tip is not required." At this point I wished I had left no tip at all. This was a ridiculous end to what thought would be a great experience. If your staff wants a certain amount per person then include it in the price or don't promote on Groupon. No one wants to be harassed for a tip.

What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. Overall, the entire experience felt very professional, careful, and trustworthy. I first went there for plasonic facial because I had tried the plasonic facial at Spa LA which cost more (because of spa amenities and extra stuff), but I found Jk Aesthetics offers plasonic facial too (about $50 less). The aesthetician found my skin was dry and my blackheads would not come out, so she recommended LDM instead for hydration. I still wanted to do plasonic facials so I got the package. We also went through the current products I use and she gave her recommendations. I purchased the TGF Booster, EGF Serum, Collagen Serum. I seemed to have a reaction (some dry patches and some redness) with the EGF serum with my other products at home so they allowed me the option to return it and try something else. I ended up keeping it and removed one of my at-home products and my skin is better now. They also taught me products I can use and not use while getting these treatments (for example like not using Vitamin C serum for the mean time). I'm attaching a picture of my forehead after 2 Plasonics and 1 LDM. I started around end of March 2026 and have until October to go. I rotate between plasonic and LDM every 3 weeks. I estimate overall cost from March-October with 20% tip and facial products is roughly $2500. My skin feels and looks healthier after every visit and I'm feeling more confident to show my natural face again. My makeup is applying smoother on my face. I also don't feel the need to hide behind makeup as much. Will send progress pictures the next couple months, but so far this is what I have after a few visits. Turned out to be one of our favorite things we've done! I don't have any photos, because it seemed weird to have my phone with me, but the ones online are pretty accurate. The valet and check in process were very smooth and easy. We got into our lockers and put on our very spiffy shorts/t-shirt/slippers combo and checked out the Jijimbang floor where the clay, jade, salt, and cold saunas were. We LOVED the clay sauna best - very relaxing to lay in a bunch of clay balls at a very pleasant heat. It also made for a little comedy trying to crawl our way out. We are 2 middle aged ladies... the comedy was bound to happen. The jade sauna was also great, and little hotter, which we also appreciated. They also have this domed sauna that I swear feels like a portal to hell. It's well over 215 degrees, and made me nervous to stand in. We were there for a minute or two and decided we weren't THAT hard core yet. We realized it was almost time for our treatments, so we showered and got into the hot tub as requested, and then sat and waited for the women to come get us for our treatments. We got the super fancy deluxe package that came with a scrub, oil treatment, hair wash/deep condition, mini facial, massage, and finishing oil. My services were performed by Rose, who, quite frankly, worked miracles in that semi-private room. I gallumped in, a scaly, dehydrated, sad little gila monster and after about 2 hours, emerged from the primordial goo a sleek, and slithery little skink... Rose probably scrubbed a toddler's worth of dead skin off me (yikes! Not the nips!), dousing me frequently with fragrant water that conjured up scenes from "The Ten Commandments." She went kind of light on my vampire feet, which I was fine with. Rose didn't need to be a hero. Flipping on the table was quite the feat, as it's very slippery, but Rose was there to prevent me from torpedoing right off the end. Next came the hair wash, which smelled amazing, and a deep conditioner that was wrapped in a towel to work its magic. We were instructed to shower and hit the dry sauna for 5 minutes, and were summoned back for round 2. Next, we were back on the table, on top of a Mylar blanket. Oil was poured on, and we were wrapped like baked potatoes to marinate while a refreshing mask was applied to our faces. After 10 minutes or so, the mask was removed, and the massage was up. Now, I hate massages, but this was about as pleasant as it could've been. Rose pretended to not be horrified by the way my back sounded like a güiro when she rubbed it, and I pretended not to want to roll off the table out of being extremely ticklish. We got through it, and I was rewarded with another face mask, hair rinsed out, and another oil applied with gold flakes. It smelled, coincidentally, like roses. After our saga, oiled up, and not a flake to be found for miles, we ate at the restaurant, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We checked out the salt sauna (kinda scratchy and hot to sit in), and the clay sauna again (I actually dozed off, which I don't recommend), and the cold sauna, which reminded me of the ol' walk-in at the VIP Pizza I used to work at. At this point, we were a little "hotted out," but vowed to return, and to take advantage of the ability to nap at all kinds of spots around the multiple floors. I will definitely get scrubbed again, and probably another facial and oil wrap. They were GLORIOUS. All in all, the $40 day price is absolutely worth it, if you don't want/need services. The fee is waived if you get a certain level of service, which makes it even MORE worth it for a nice day of saunas, spas, and generally lazing about. That said - if you are in any way precious, priggish, or prudish, this may not be for you. It's a very naked place, and all the services are conducted in a semi-private place. You can hear people's conversations, see (kind of) what's going on with others, and you're slithering around on a table in some pretty interesting ways. Overall, this was GLORIOUS. I absolutley can't wait to go back, and neither can my friend. We are already looking for dates! Worth every penny.

We immediately reported it to the staff, but instead of addressing the issue or even showing understanding, they told us that California law supposedly allows anyone to access any space if they identify that way. They refused to take any action and rather dismissively told us to complain to whoever you want in CA's office. Regardless of legal nuances, a business like this should ensure the comfort and safety of its guests, especially in such sensitive, gender-segregated areas. In this case, that responsibility was completely ignored. We left feeling very upset and uncomfortable. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone who values personal boundaries and a basic sense of safety. When one of the staff told me that he can be in women's area since he identifies himself as a women, I asked does this mean that I can go to men's area if I identify myself as a men. He told me "no, since you checked in as a women already" so by only a check mark next time I can go to men's section and men by that only check mark can come to women's area.
