    C-1 Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup ()

    The classic Lanzhou beef noodle soup was exactly what I needed on a cold winter evening. Tasted pretty authentic and had a real kick to it which I didn't expect even though I asked for spicy. Very solid option in the Dekalb Market Hall

    Really enjoyed this place! Love how much you can customize your noodles. The portions are great, and so are the prices! Staff is helpful, and they push out orders really fast :)

    Great place to pick up some amazing classic noodle soup. Located in the Dekalb Market in Gowanus Brooklyn with many other restaurants. Easy to order ahead or you can take a seat and enjoy right there. They had so many options for all. I had to order some boiled dumplings and a bowl of the classic Lan Zhou Beef with fresh vegetables. Both came out piping hot and were so tasty. The menu has many options for all. Vegetarian and vegan options as well. Come check them out if you want a friendly environment and some yummy noodle soup.

    I had a good first experience here at Hana! This food hall is like a maze with so many options. I chose Hana Noodles because they had my favorite dish, Dan Dan noodle! My order took less than 5 minutes. I found everything reasonable priced. The noodle had a lot of meat, and noodle. I loved the spicy numbing flavor. Very flavorful and I will definitely go back and order the same thing!

    I got the classic beef noodle soup, added spicy to it. It was good but I thought it needed more flavor. The flavor is in the broth but none on the noodles. The beef was tender but again, no flavor in it. Basically had to drink the broth for any flavor.

    Usually buy just Boba drinks while shopping but decided to try their food today. At first I ordered the vegetarian noodles. From the m reading other reviews, I believe them. That's who I switched to the scallion pancake instead. The vegetarian noodles smelt like chemical and the noodles were too thick. The tofu pieces had an odd taste , like plastic. I couldn't get a second bite because I disliked this dish so much. I switched for scallion pancake despite being cheaper and from Trader Joe's( I saw the bag package in the trash. I would not recommend their specially dished, just the boba and appetizers. I appreciate the staff for accommodating me. They didn't have to. I am surprised they are not that good due to them making everything house made.

    Stopped in downstairs for soup & stumbled on the right place. They have a few great soup options, wish they had the same soup with shrimp dumplings/wontons. Babe decided on the C-1 Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup , came with a side of chili oil, a bit of it goes a long way. Tastes very good, flavorful & savory.. Wish it was hotter in temp. The Shrimp Dumplings were good too.

    Came here while in DeKalb Food Hall, which is the cutest and more colorful food hall by the way. I thought I would have to wait a bit for my order but they were so quick as the food came within 5 minutes. I ordered the Classic Lan Zhou Noodles and the soup was stellar - light but full of beef flavor. I wasn't a big fan of the noodles though as they were a bit thick and couldn't soak in a lot of the flavor of the broth. The beef was also a bit hard and lacked flavor, but I will say with the amount of food they give you at the price point it is at, it's not a bad option for lunch at all. Overall, good quick eat if you're working near this area and is missing Chinese food. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for an authentic experience.

    Came for a quick lunch (2pm) as we were in the area. My sister in law got the vegetarian noodles with flat noodles and added fried egg. My brother in law and I ordered the same noodle soup (his is round hand noodles) but mine was added little spicy with flat noodles. Overall, quick service (not too long of wait for food) and nice chewy bouncy noodles. There is a 10% discount for Apple Pay (tap).

    Got the Dan Dan Noodles sans peanuts to-go after shopping at Trader Joe's. It's served cold so I took it home and sautéed to heat it up + added corn. It's spicy and absolutely delicious. Service was fast & easy. Will definitely be back when I'm in the mood for noods.

    Overall, I enjoyed this spot! The service was very quick and there are tables all around this area to sit and eat. We went on a weekday so it wasn't particularly busy in the market overall, which I loved. I really liked the dan dan noodles. it was a good level of savory with some numbing spice but not too much. I'm not typically a fan of duck so the dumplings were okay, the skin on the dumpling was a little too thick for me.

    Hana Noodle Station is located inside the dekalb food hall near the back! We ordered the lanzhou beef noodle soup and the Dan Dan noodles. Both were pretty good so I'd say the final choice boils down to whether you prefer dry or soup noodles. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lanzhou beef noodle soup had quite a good amount of beef. The broth didn't taste very beefy though so if that's a dealbreaker for you, I wouldn't go for this dish. The noodles appear to be authentically hand pulled as we saw one of the workers making the noodles. The Dan Dan noodles were very flavorful but could've used more meat. Overall, I'd say this location is a solid spot if you're looking to grab a quick eat and if you're craving some noodles!

    C-5 Singaporean Laksa()
    Larissa B.

    The broth carries the flavor it should but I find it to be too thin. Coming from SG, it's hard to find thick, creamy laksa without a coconutty flavor that overwhelms the laksa paste. Sadly this doesn't provide that thick broth that coats the noodles. While the handmade noodles are a nice touch, it's not the type of noodle that typically goes with laksa. Also, there's no hard boiled egg! Would give this a pass if you're looking for true laksa.
