Medium 6 oz sirloin was tiny and raw in the middle. The 8 oz steak was smaller than the 6 oz steak. Also both chicken breasts had no bbq sauce as shown on menu. Not to mention, thing was ice cold. No wonder they have to give $12 off, nobody would eat here otherwise! read more

Driving home from somewhere, where you did something, you might begin looking for another somewhere. A somewhere to grab a quick bite. That's exactly what my Fav Fab One and I were doing. On the way east from New Port Richey. Creeping up on 9 pm, the choices begin to narrow down exponentially. I combed the reviews for the late open places. And that, is how we found this Ruby Tuesday. Don't you find yourself in 'lookout' mode when you enter an establishment, as a newbie? Looking for red flags, warnings, reasons to doubt those reviews. But we didn't register any of those feelings as we were greeted, then seated. The ambiance, typical Ruby Tuesday. Comfy booth. Somewhat subdued lighting. Confirmations of palatability. WE were zeroing in on that Salad Bar. What a grand draw. Love picking up those metal plates. Feeling the chill in my fingertips. Sidestepping along, Choices of lettuce and dressings to drizzle. Potato and pasta salads. Beets and Lima Beans. All the yum. I ALWAYS feel reassured that every item on that line is definitely held at the proper temperature! Your touch is your thermometer. Nice and cold. I LOVE that. Doing the familiar bench seat slide, we settle in. Expectations abound as first crunchy cool bites tiptoe across our tastebuds. Making a timely appearance, Taylor, with terrific tats, welcomes us! It'll be she who wines us and dines us, in a serving sense. LOL My menu maneuvers led me to land on the Salad Bar AND Endless Soup choice. "Good choice", responds Taylor. "But might I suggest you BOTH could get the Salad Bar and ADD an appetizer for $21.99" "Yes! Let's do that!" Fab One and I shot back. I was now looking at Taylor with a realization that SHE is something special. Way more than meets the eye. To back up my impression, she continued on, illustrating a foretelling of what might be right, for us. Taylor had a knack. A knack of knowing exactly how Ruby Tuesday could fulfill our late-night sortie. She was spot-on accurate, and that totally caught my attention. As I sat there, munching and mentalizing, I came up with a phrase that, for me, captured the essence of Taylor. I surmised that she is an ESP, or rather, an 'Eat' S P! She has a phenomenal sensory perception and uses it carefully, and skillfully. A true Foodie's dream. Fab One and I were in the presence of a true wizard. Funny I say that, right? I am posting this review concerning the Ruby Rewards and BOGO offers on their app. I downloaded the app last year and consistently receive offers from them for BOGO plus $3 for the second. Every time I go I order 2 full slab of barbecue ribs which I eat one there and take one home. While I wait I order a sangria. The total for my order should be $43 but when I get my credit card statement it is always $60.47. I went to the restaurant yesterday and wanted to speak with the manager on duty. One of two bartenders who know me was also working. I explained what is happening with the Ruby Rewards and or machine taking codes. He said do you have your credit card receipt and I said no but I found one for $43 plus change. He said to me well how do I know you did not have more than one drink. I said ask the bartender over there. I said ask her she knows me and I said she's busy so let's just go over the numbers here while we are sitting here and I said $23 for the entree plus $26 for the BOGO plus $3 so subtract the $23 listed first. Add $7 for the happy hour sangria plus $8 tip Plus $2.33 sales tax and you come up to $43.33. He said well you need to have a copy of the receipt that you signed and I asked him if he is calling me a liar with the information I gave him he said of course I'm not calling you a liar I said well of course you are. So I said a two-word send it off phrase beginning with F, told him you lost a customer and leaving this Yelp review. I am posting this review in the hopes that people who go to this particular Ruby Tuesdays keep their credit card receipt and check their credit card statements. !! PS this whole chain restaurant will be going out of business this year. I want to add this to my review and hopefully this manager is reading this. I suggest you search your records for credit card sales on the following dates in 2026. February 1st, March 27th, and April 9th. read more

We had a family of 5. We were told the larger tables were reserved. We were seated at a booth which was good since 1 person didn't come. The waitress did not offer appetizers. We ordered 1 kid's hamburger and 3 meals and another meal to go. The kids meal came out quickly. He was done before the other meals arrived. When the other 3 were delivered, 2 were wrong. We were told they were swamped and there was no offer to fix the problem. We received the check without the to-go order. We waited another 30 minutes after finishing for the order. I requested a manager to discuss the incorrect orders and the slow service. I was told again that they were busy and "What do you want me to do about it?" He was extremely rude and when I tried to discuss it he said he couldn't do anything and walked away! Meanwhile, people that came in after we reordered the to go meal had finished and left. I should've trusted my gut instinct and turned around and walked out, but I was very hungry and decided to give it a go. The server was unaware of the specials and when I told him what they were, he said well if you can prove it to me, I suppose I'll give it to you. My steak was very interesting. It looked like it was pounded by a metal mallet to an oblivion before they my steak was very well done and he had ordered it medium. The steak was bland. 20$ is a lot for a bland overcooked steak. One was so over cooked it had to be sent back. The sirloin was tough and chewy. The ribeye was tender at least. Chicken strips were dry. The waitress was great and offered to replace the food. But the one steak we had replaced was still over by a lot. Horrible service. We arrived at 4 pm with 2tables of 6 and 2 tables of 4. It was a reservation. The two tables of 4 didn't get their food till 5:30!! We ate there at 12:00 Monday afternoon. We got the salad bar. Big mistake! Almost the whole salad bar was empty or down to the bottom of the containers. We got pretty much lettuce and dressing which was hard to get a spoonful because the dressings were so low. This is absolutely unforgivable as the restaurant had been open for less than an hour. I got a smash burger that was the size of a McDonalds regular hamburger and cold limp fries. The restaurant smells like mold and mildew. This experience was the worst restaurant experience I've had I've had ever in my life. I waited 12 minutes to be seated then waited 10 minutes for outlets didn't which she forgot to bring out before coming to ask for our order. Greta was our waitress she was at our table a total of 4 times. Never came to check on us even once after taking our order nor did we see her to get her attention. It was literally 1hr after we walked in through that door that our food came to our table to be warm not even hot. If at least I was kept in the known on how long or even had my drink refilled it would have been 3 stars but Greta didn't do the bare minimum. In all honesty I feel like I would of had a better experience if I got a frozen pizza and cooked it at home. Over all super disappointing experience it was not super busy we were 1 of her 2 tables.
