The pins were affordable, came out better than anticipated -and were delivered in a timely manner. I then found out he also does FacePainting. I have been fortunate to know Bryan will always come to the rescue. This year, he did it again. How dare I forget to call him to reserve the date for our event, The Randy Simmons Fitness Challenge and Kids Fun Run? It was only 3 days before the event when my 5-year-old nephew asked, "Auntie Ian, is the painter coming too? Can I get a pirate tattoo?!" Now who denies a child such requests when Halloween is upon us and I know for a fact that I'll be working again, as always, and wouldn't get a chance to see my beloved nephews? Nah-uh, Mr. Soup Nazi!! Your presence does not need to grace me when all I want is joyful painted faces running around me during this annual event. Lo and behold, Bryan saved the day again. I called him in a panic mode. Oh God, oh God!! Please let him be available. I will not ask anything for Christmas, but maybe something simple for Hanukkah; a new pitch fork or shovel for my garden, and nothing else. Bryan answered with his upbeat and exciting voice. He sounded like my little brothers awaiting news of when they get to spend time with their amazing sister (ME) again. Ha! I told him my dilemma. I told him it was bad, 3 days away-bad. And he replied, "No! It's 3 days away-GREAT! I could squeeze those lil munchkins in before my other event. Im packed and ready to go. Same address? Same time? See you then, Ian!" Without even asking the price, I know Bryan was very reasonable, dedicated, passionate, and diligent with his art. It's not considered work for him. It's a joyful moment. Who does that?! Most people would rather stay in bed on Saturday mornings, but not Bryan. He'd rather be surrounded by kids like my nephew who's destined to commandeer a ship as a pirate and chase grown men and women at the Police Academy with his neatly crafted painted face. It was PRICELESS!! Seeing children of all ages live in a moment with their new found character just for an hour or two. Who would not want to experience such a delight of innocence when all the while the answer is Bryan? The once stranger, business man, and now a friend of mine. So fellow Yelpers, I dare you worry about the cake, balloons, jumpers, and the food. But don't worry about the real party favor, Bryan's face-painting and his undeniable talents.
