After nearly a year, the project is still unfinished and much of the work that was completed was done very poorly. He would also disappear for weeks at a time without showing up, leaving his tools, construction materials and trash scattered throughout our living space and around our yard. He would use many reasons & excuses on why he would disappear in which we were very patient. He also damaged two of our TVs during the project and never reimbursed us for them. In addition, we gave him $350 to raise a shower head and $440 to replace a window. Neither job was ever completed despite repeatedly promising to reimburse us, he never did. Most of the time, he would send subcontractors instead of showing up himself. Several of them came to our home only to collect their tools because Jovanny owed them money. One subcontractor even arrived under the influence and asked if he could spend the night. Our final contract was for $10,250. We paid Jovanny $7,209, despite receiving those payments, he constantly pressured us for more money to "finish the job." In the end, only about 25% of the contracted work was actually completed and suddenly stopped showing up. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and financial loss. I would not recommend hiring Jovanny.

He said they would make to match perfectly- white Quaker style. Measurements all off (smaller). The worker said they would be putting wood paneling to make up difference! Why would I want less cupboard space?? Then I overheard the worker tell other one in Spanish that he got home late night before cuz he was at Chino warehouse buying my ready-made cabinets!! What a rip-off. Fired Stan that day, had him take back his cabinets, and refund me for flooring. Got back just under $5,000 so he made $8,000 off me just to remove the fluorescent ceiling in kitchen. They left all trash in my backyard. Didn't cover anything while working so entire house was covered in dust for years. This happened about 4-5 yrs ago but I guess I was too angry to want to think or write about it until now. Stan used his Christianity to relate to me and convince me to hire him. This man is despicable.
