Later, I had another problem as the fridge started making an odd noise. Initially, Vadym suspected it was the compressor fan, but the issue persisted. This issue had actually been lingering for a long time, I had at least four or five other companies came to diagnose the noise issue, each offering different quick opinions--some barely inspected it and suggested immediate part replacements, others insisted the fridge needed to be pulled out (which is a big job for a built-in unit) and fix from the back of the fridge. But none felt confident, they all rushed to conclusions without a proper diagnosis. Vadym stood out by taking the time. He thoroughly examined the fridge and, when the issue persisted, he consulted his network instead of guessing. Eventually, he figured out the noise was caused by the condenser pipe and water pipe being too close, which caused vibration when the compressor kicked in. In the end, he fixed it. What I truly appreciated was his commitment, he didn't rush to a quick guess; he invested time, asked for input, and returned until it was resolved. I would highly recommend Vadym and Metro Appliance to others.

I chose this company based off the great reviews, and I wasn't sorry. They were very easy to communicate with, and it was extremely easy to schedule an inspection. Their tech arrived on time, and accessed the rooftop with his own equipment. He provided me with an explanation (and pictures) of what was wrong, and a verbal estimate of the cost to repair it. He sent a written estimate that day, and I booked them for the work. He was here a coupe of days later as planned, completed the work, and now we have functioning air conditioning for the first time in years. The entire process was quick, easy, and most importantly, they did what they said they were going to do when they said they would. I will definitely use them again.

Be very careful with this company. I paid $70 for a diagnosis and was told my compressor was dead…read more They quoted me $5,571 for replacement, so I got a second opinion, and the compressor was not the problem, it was a couple hundred dollar safety switch. What bothered me most was that when I questioned them, their explanation kept changing. First it was the compressor, then an "open line," then a high-voltage breaker issue. That is not a diagnosis I can trust, or a diagnosis based in true process of elimination testing to arrive at the core issue. I've been running a restaurant for nearly 20 years, and I've seen this pattern many times before: jump straight to the most expensive repair. In my experience, this felt like either incompetence or an attempt to oversell a job that wasn't needed. I will never use them again, and I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any HVAC work from Next HVAC.

Before I even pay a single dollar, they called me via phone to explain my broken dryer situation is somehow rare that it could be the control board or circuit inside that they are not confident it will work completely fine after the fix, which will cost me at least $600. After some conversation to check my current dryer, vent, and usage situation via phone about 10 minutes, they actually recommended me to find someone who only specializes in LG machines. (FYI, two other contractors before A Plus Appliance already gave up on this opportunity and asked me just to buy a new dryer. I contacted LG customer service three times, and every time the "real-person" chat service was like AI-scripted robot that did not help me diagnose the issues but always routed the conversation to my false on cleaning the lint trap or it is the gas line problem, and the conclusion is always to schedule their technician for a visit, which cost $400+ not including material and labor cost.) A+ Appliance guys are still eager to help me fix the dryer but they want me to understand the actual situation and the potential issues so that they are not charging me money and not able to deliver good services to their standard. It is really difficult to find this kind of honesty and service anymore. Although we did not have a business happening this time, I will always call and recommend this company to my friends for fixing broken appliances 100%. Five star no doubt.

Quick, professional, and friendly. Recommend and would work with again in the future if need arises.read more

Do not go with this company…read more Across two recent service visits, this company's technician damaged our hardwood floor and later left our oven out of position. When I shared photographic evidence, management disputed what I had seen with my own eyes and resisted putting things right. Floor damage: During the first visit, the technician dropped the top panel of our range onto our hardwood floor, leaving two visible gouges. I saw it happen, as did a handyman working in the house. When I reported it the same day with photos, management deflected responsibility. First that nothing was dropped, then that the gouges were "older damage," then that a panel "brushed against a cabinet handle" with edges "physically impossible" to cause the marks. Three incompatible accounts. Only after I declined a $50 discount on a $322 bill did they waive the labor, while continuing to petulantly insist I was mistaken about what I had seen. Oven left out of position: On the follow-up visit, the technician failed to return the oven to its original position causing significant downstream issues. When I asked them to put it right, management again shirked responsibility. They claimed it had been put there because to go further back would be a gas-line "safety issue". They told me to hire PG&E or a plumber. The crazy part: this same company correctly placed this exact oven in 2022. The oven has sat in that position for ten years. They just didn't want to finish the job, so they made up a story. The pattern across both incidents: argue with the customer, cycle through contradictory and defensive explanations, resist taking ownership. EDIT: To see for yourself, read the owner's reply. He continues to deflect responsibility for the wood gouges they caused (a concerning pattern of telling the customer they are wrong), and doubling down on a fabricated issue regarding the gas line (if true, why wasn't it a problem for the same company 4 years ago?) Photos of their negligent work attached. Hire someone else.
