Could not be happier with my treatment from Hane Orthodontics! I originally had braces here over 20 years ago, and I recently went back as I wanted re-treatment after forgetting to wear my retainers. The office is very clean, and the staff are very friendly. The front desk in particular took special care in greeting me and making sure that I felt welcomed every time I came in for an appointment. Dr. Hane and Dr. Kyle were both very attentive to my teeth, and made sure that I was well informed throughout my visits by keeping me updated on my progress. Dr. Hane is amazing and the staff there are super friendly and patient. We have spent ALOT of time there over the last years and more to come. They are always honest and up front about what you and/or your child need (we both got braces). Plus - you always run into a friend there because everyone goes there!! My son was constantly pulling out his spacers, and his pallet expander and finally pulling out his permanent bottom retainer. So we were in and out of there ALOT for that and broken wires, etc. All self inflicted by my son and they took it all in stride. They were super patient, nice and didn't chastise my son or me. They would give him advice and what not to do next time. The staff (ladies) that work there REALLY make it for me, I want to be best friends with all of them! Billing - they are upfront and will try to get your insurance to pay before asking you to pay. They have fun drawings and guess the number games that the kids love, and iPads to play with while they wait :-) Oh and I also had braces on with them - my experience was great. They always asked if I was comfortable and if there was any pain or poking in my mouth from all the metal. Very thoughtful bunch! read more

We have been going there for over 25 years. From Dad to now my daughters, realizing that the office has got busier and the staff isn't so understanding to patients. After my daughter had finalized the braces, I've try to make the follow up appointments at that time of 3 months. After realizing that we had to go see Dr Hane for the follow up. Today I was so terrified with the office lady had said that they are charging us $95 to schedule, because we didn't call within the 3 months? They have never mention that it was mandatory to come in within the three month and if not they will charge us a fee??? I've previously try to make appointment and they asked us to wait after three months? Now they are saying that they are charging us a fee to recheck the retainers? It seems like that they are scamming their patients As a patient who has been with them for so long, we are very disappointed. read more

Today I was scheduled for 9.00 am visit for my braces fix. I was not called until 9.15 am. Two people came after me, and they were served first. The employee was giving an excuse saying that they got a new patient, so the new patient was getting served first. The doctor was not looking me until 9.40 am, when I expressed my concern they finally gave priority to me. I was totally not happy with that service. Also there was a lady sitting in frontdesk, she already noticed that I was there from 8.30 am. But literally she ignored me, she was not taking any steps to make sure people are going in order. She was simply sitting there, and did not appear to be doing anything. I wish I have not taken the service from Wayne's office. Actually four people came after me, they were served before me. I am deeply saddened by the way this hospital treats their patients. I would not recommend my friends to get any dental service from Wayne. read more

I have had a great experience as a patient with Dr. Wayne Hane. He is a very popular orthodontist, and it is pretty obvious why. He is knowledgeable and has a pleasant, friendly, confident attitude. The staff are very helpful. The space is modern even though the building blends smoothly into the surrounding suburban neighborhood. Dr. Hane has glowing recommendations from my dentist, his assistants (who sent their children to him), and a co-worker who had braces in her late 20's. I was nearly sold on this place before my consultation! My insurance has been taken without any issues, which is great. Dr. Hane was very flexible in working out a payment plan for me that better matched my dental coverage, and I didn't get even the slightest impression that it was a hassle for them. Dr. Hane is more expensive than other orthodontists, but the quality and level of service is worth every penny. There are both children and adults as patients here, which is a great thing for 20-somethings like me and for families, too. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Hane if you are considering braces for you or your child. His office serves both groups very well. Good luck! read more

Returning back to Dr. Hane's office after so many years was a miserable experience!!! I had braces for 1.5 years many years ago and was given a perm retainer on the bottom half of my mouth. Every 6 months, during my routine check up- my dentist makes sure that it is still in place. This last visit, my dentist recommended I go see the Ortho who put it in because a bit of the glue had come off, and for the dentist to repair it would be very costly. Cue my visit to Dr. Hane for the first time in almost 10 years. Dr. Hane and his staff mostly work with children. This was crystal clear to me almost immediately because they all do not know how to treat an adult. I made an appointment that cost $50 just for him to look at my retainer. The minute I sat in the chair, he went into a rant about how I did not take care of my retainer and that my teeth had shifted because glue was missing and "how did you not notice!?!?!?". I explained that my dentist just noticed and that we both agreed that it was a very minor shift, and that's why I am sitting in your chair to ensure my teeth don't move anymore! What a dick!!! Even the office staff were condescending and unpleasant. They constantly battled me to put braces back on due to the very minor shift, which of course is very expensive for something that I did not even notice. I made another appointment to fix my retainer, and because I opted not to re treat, he was an even bigger dick. He did not say hello just went straight to work and never asked if I was in pain- which I clearly was during the entire procedure. This guy has no bedside manner at all! If I ever go to retreat my teeth, it will NOT be here and I will recommend that others not bring their business to Dr. Hane. read more

I am absolutely astounded with Dr. Hane and his team. As you could see from the pictures, Dr. Hane did an amazing job of fixing my teeth. With an overbite, missing teeth on the bottom, and extra teeth on the top, Dr. Hane did his best to make them look good and it shows. Being away at college made making appointments hard but his team was flexible and they made it work in the end. My parents are also very happy with the results. Plus, I got a free goodie bag of things I could eat now that I don't have braces! Very cute! Dr. Hane deserves 5 stars and he is highly recommended. Very kind and caring orthodontist! read more

We got referred to Dr. Hane from my daughter's general dentist for her early stage braces. We are on our way to get braces for her and so far the process is very smooth and handled professionally. I like the staff here. They are knowledgeable and very friendly. There are some small games kids could play mean while we wait for the appointment. There is coffee for tired moms like me. I have been a patient of Dr. Hane's for a while and it was certainly worthwhile. My smile is now perfect and I don't think any other orthodontist could have done as good of a job. The staff and Dr. Hane are really funny and make sure that they are providing the best service to their patients. The office is clean and comfortable. While your appointment is going on their is always a movie you can watch and their is a raffle drawings and contest you can enter and win a prize. Both of my sons have had braces done by Dr. Hane. He runs a one-man-show, but he has a large staff and the office is run quite efficiently. He has about 7 chairs, and they're often all occupied at the same time but everyone is getting worked on. Yet he still has a personal touch and has time to chat it up! Keep it up Dr. Hane! read more

The staff is generally friendly, especially the staff that has direct contact with the patients in the back. The front desk, however, could brush up on their customer service and friendliness skills. Recently, I had a not so pleasant experience. One lady at the front desk with shorter brown hair and braces was pretty impatient and dismissive. She did not even offer an appointment reminder of any sort. After scheduling a follow-up appointment, there was not even an "ok, we are all set for this date," but rather the feeling of "why are you still standing there?" I had to ask again if the appointment was confirmed. It helps if the receptionist can provide a concluding confirmation so that they know they are good to go. If a business wants new patients to get a good impression, and returning patients to return, I would suggest a receptionist who makes the patients feel welcome and appreciated for their business, instead of a burden for making them do their job. read more
