Was so disappointed to be charged premium rates for cut rate accommodations we left our room 30 minutes later with the key on the empty desk in the lobby. Won't be back, won't recommend to any of my family or clients. Paid $300 for a room I didn't even spend an hour of my day in. Disaster !!!

Staff is helpful and friendly. Obviously, we enjoyed our stay as it was a great way to spend a weekend in the Foothills.

My husband loved the praline filled bundt coffee cake. The owner has a real gift of an excellent palate and sense of texture. Each baked good was very moist in the middle, yet slightly crunchy on the outside. It's worth staying here just for her baking. On top of that, the included breakfasts are beautiful, and she's made the best hollandaise sauce we've ever had. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and didn't hear a peep from other guests, which is a real fete in some of these historic homes. The location is perfect, easily walkable to restaurants and shops. This place is a gem and I can't wait for our next visit.

We checked in after 6pm, so check in instructions were texted to us. Easy to follow. Was easy to find. We stopped at Wally's Pizza for dinner in Cameron Park based off their restaurant suggestions on their website and sent via text check in instructions. Great suggestion! The next mornings breakfast is texted the night before, offering some options like juice preference. And it's delivered around 9am the next morning. Since we had to be at rafting at 9 our first morning at the Inn, they delivered us fruit, scones, and juice early at 8:15am which was really nice. Breakfast was delicious, both mornings. And super fresh. We stayed in the Cypress room. Was as pictured online. Room was clean. The patio area is nice. We explored the grounds a bit our last morning and saw many places to sit around. We enjoyed some time up at the pond in the morning. The staff - I assume owners - were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay here and would return!

Our host, Linda, made an incredible stay that much more homey. Each morning's breakfast was a feast, seated outside on the covered patio with stunning views. The meals were uber fresh (filling enough that we skipped lunch both days!). Every day around 5 you're treated to wine and cheese. Perfect location to wine taste on property or venture out to the growing number of top rated wineries. Walk amongst the vineyards or take out one the beach cruisers or trikes for a ride around. At night, the fire pits are a nice touch, or just lounge on you private deck for a sunset and a moonset. Looking forward to our return!

Our suite (one of five) was absolutely stunning. The Innkeeper (the first of three amazing Innkeepers) had the gas fireplace lit, and wonderful instrumental music playing, as she showed us our suite. The food was phenomenal: gourmet breakfasts, 5:00 wine and cheese, and homemade cookies in the evening. My favorite part was the patio with a fire pit overlooking the vineyard. It is difficult to find such peace and serenity anywhere. Aah... We anticipate return visits

We reserved the Rio Vista suite along with the attached beach bungalow so each had our own rooms downstairs. The back slider opened onto a sandy beach area with gorgeous views and a pool. We took day trips to Grass Valley and Placerville and had an amazing time. Spent the last half of our last day there sitting outside, looking at the views and enjoying the sunshine. The owners are amazing... They delivered breakfast to our doors each morning and boy were they delicious. I am definitely bringing my husband back so that he can enjoy this place and the surrounding areas as much as I did.

While it's a bit of a distance to the actual venue, it was well worth it for the quiet, calm and very relaxing environment. Beautiful property and I wish I had time to use the pool outside. We stayed in the Bella Vista honeymoon suite. I loved it. It allowed my husband and I to talk. There's a calming and clarifying vibe to the room and the place in general. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area 100%. I think about this place from time to time. I actually miss it!

I called 4 times then finally managed to get through to the desk, only for the person there to tell me they had no idea why I had been charged 2 days after checking out. They told me that they had to forward it to management and I should here back in a few days. It has been almost a week and I have heard nothing. I am really disappointed by this because this hotel was amazing aside from that. But it is simply not okay to charge someone with no notice and no communication 2 days after check out.
