He told me his prognosis in a very real and professional manner. He showed me my xrays and explained his findings. I just finished an appointment post-surgery by 7 months. It was successful! The surgery was extensive and he has followed me every step of the way. I truly felt his professional interest in my case and he explained my progress at every appointment. let me begin by saying I chose to have my leg removed eight years ago to a very rare form of…read moremuscular dystrophy. I originally started in Wyoming with Wyoming Prosthetics Orthotics and they were amazing. I dealt with the Hanger Clinic in Sherman Texas. They were amazing. I am extremely active not the typical patient. I know my equipment. I know the process. I know how it's supposed to be done. I've always tried to be patient and understanding because things happen, but this beyond the realm of rediculous! The process has been simple for the past eight years I go in I get casted I come in a second time we try the fit , the third time every single previous socket has been perfect. I typically have to get one every year as my amputation changes. my experience in Tucson so far I have come down almost 11 times now. yes 11 . The first technician didn't listen to me and told me what he wanted to do. Thankfully, the second tech has been amazing , I will tell you that I have never gone home with a quote " test socket" again please read above . then I found out they send everything out out of house now the facility that they sent my. Casting to make my carbon fiber socket blew up the form 4 x , I can't make this up ! The supervisor for this particular office has been amazing (again I have never ,ever have I gone through this much hell and I do use the word hell to get a brand new socket . ) I don't mind the drive. It's an hour and 15 minutes, but it's gasoline and wear and tear on my car that I cannot afford . trying to be understanding and not judgmental. I googled lawsuits against Hanger Prosthetic . Oh my God the websites just blew up. Poor Customer Service poor fitting sockets. billing issues across the board. having moved to Tombstone not knowing my new care providers. Both told me (one was a doctor one was a nurse practitioner who was retired army ) told me and I quote " Hanger is the worst " again a doctor and a nurse practitioner both telling me these things before I even started dealing with them here in Tucson . it got so bad that I called corporate in Texas and I told them that I would be more inclined to drive the 900 miles one way to the Hanger Clinic in Sherman, Texas, where they got it right on all three of my sockets. then deal with this crap in Arizona, yup so . The only saving grace is my tech . feel free to google lawsuits against Hanger Clinic . again, I am not the typical client I am active. I wear my leg and average of 14 hours a day I am highly physical , after eight years again, dealing with a Prosthetic expert in Wyoming and Sherman, Texas I know what is correct. I know what is right and I know what I require.!

I'm extremely happy with the service provided by Tony! He is outstanding! Extremely professional, he knows precisely how to fit the protestic! My first one got to large for me so I went back to him and he contacted the VA to see about getting a new one with a device that would allow movement in the ankle. Tony had no problem with fitting me with the proper device in the prosthetic , I'm now able to move as though it is a real foot! I really love the way Tony and his wife treat me like I'm family! You don't see that in most places of business nowadays! As far as I'm concerned, Tony Martin Limb and Brases, is the Best place to go to for amputees that need the most outstanding prothtetics! Tony's Son provides the best Brases for those who require them! A one stop shop, so to speak! Tony's wife provides the best administrative services! The office is kept extremely clean also!

I had used this place for orthotics about 10 years ago and was happy, but I am not happy with my…read morerecent experience with I will detail. Bottom line I think this shop has been passed to the next generation, Tony Martin and craftsmanship and caring did not end up in his genes! Read on to follow the details. Due to an accident as a child I have a leg discrepancy. I had orthotics prescribed with a lift on one side to compensate. I took my prescription to this place and Tony Martin, Jr. forgot to order the orthotics with the lift as was prescribed. He did not recall, but then when he looked in my file at the prescription he saw that he made the mistake. He said he would fix it, so glued some cork or something to one orthotic while I was there. In the following weeks I wore the orthotics and began experiencing pain in the other leg and my hip and back. I checked and found the piece of cork or something came off and moved, and I believe caused me the pain. I went back and he again said he would take care of it. He did NOT send the orthotics back to be redone as I believe he should have, instead he fastened some sort of rubber to the orthotics and now this is causing the one side to make my foot slip forward with each step. I have already scheduled an appointment with the doctor who wrote the prescription and will tell her about my bad experience and get her help sending me somewhere else to get it done correctly! I am probably out the $350 Tony Martin, Jr. charged me, but I value my health and am willing to spend more to get properly fitting orthotics. Again, I was happy with the senior, Tony Martin that made my orthotics 10 years ago, but not with Junior. I do not typically write reviews, but am so angry about this experience am writing this review to release some of my anger and I hope it helps someone else out there. I went in yesterday, hoping to find something to help my right foot problems. Mike greeted me and…read moreworked on helping me find something he thought would help. It was $326.00 for a pair of inserts. I tried them overnight. Unfortunately I've had extensive injuries to my right leg, ankle and foot from trauma. I brought them back in today and explained to Mike that it just wasn't going to work for me. He said we could try something else, but when I told him I just wanted to return the inserts, he refunded my money. He explained it was against store policy to do the refund, but he did it. Had I known they were non-refundable, I never would have purchased them. You don't want to spend that much money on something that won't work for me. I also understand they wouldn't want to have someone bring them back, 6 months later and declare they want their money back, with the inserts looking like they'd been rode hard and put away wet -- as they say in the horse biz. I had purchased them near the end of the day yesterday. Mike looked at them to make sure they were still in new condition and refunded my money.

I just wanted a pair of shoes because I was getting callouses on my feet from the ones I was…read morewearing. I had to listen to a 1/2 hour of so-called analysis of my feet and an offer for their system of inserts for $1500. I declined but bought just shoes for $170. Afterwards, I found I didn't need new shoes - I just needed to adjust the inserts on the shoes I already had, which was pointed out to me by another reputable store. I wanted to return the shoes I bought there but found they would charge me 20% and I could only get store credit. What would I buy in their store since I didn't get their inserts and don't need them? Nothing about this return policy was mentioned when I bought them and I am not in the habit of reading receipts when I buy shoes. I have never bought a pair of shoes in my life that I couldn't return. What a rip-off this place is. Don't go there - there are lots of good places that are honest and really want to help - not this place.
