Well, these other reviews are so old! So I will tell you............ I couldn't even walk. Sometimes completely bed ridden. Went here to get fitted for braces. Brian was EXCELLENT. He explained everything, fitted me up and I AM NOW WALKING AROUND EVERY DAY!!! MIRACLE!! If you knew me or my story you wouldn't think I would ever walk like this again. All adjustments Brian makes to my braces are FREE!!! His is SO GOOD at what he does!!! Apparently things have really changed here at the Riverside Hanger Clinic (located on Riverside Dr) If you need braces Brian is the guy!!! He is a genius! read more

Absolutely the worst business I have ever delt with. I have been put off, phone calls not returned, commitments not kept. I was given a prescription for shoe inserts by the VA and started the process with the Hanger Clinic in Corona which is now closed and my records are with Riverside Hanger Clinic. My first pair of inserts were issued about a month after the impressions were made. I had no change in my condition so I went back to my podiatrist and they said my inserts were not made correctly. it has been 6 months now and they are re-making my inserts for the 4th time. I now have a deformity that may be permanent or require surgery. Stay away from this business!!! read more

They seem to have the worst system for calling in that I've ever experienced. Its almost impossible to get through to anyone to just call and make an appointment. Every time I tried to call id get the answering service and told to leave a message, that someone was on the phone with someone else, theyre busy, etc., so it just goes to the answering service but I never got a return call. With experiencing how difficult it is to even call in to get an appt set up, I was remembering the reviews I read with how hard it is to get through and how long it took them to get appts and months to get their medical equipment....when dealing with time sensitive medical needs, you can't wait that long. I called Cranial Technologies in Riverside and they answered right away and already set up an initial appt for next week, so it does not need to be that difficult to talk to someone to set up an appt. I highly recommend going somewhere else. read more

Doctor was great - office staff receptionist was rude and super unfriendly on both visits. They set up a followup appointment at 1:00 pm. I got there a little early and had to wait outside. They saw me outside and ignored me. When I made a suggestion to schedule appointments a little after 1:00 pm so elderly handicapped patients, like me, would not have to stand outside in the cold she was very defensive and rude. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. I very seldom complain but this behavior really bothered me. Overall the other office lady was nice and again the doctor was great. read more

One of the worst clinics ever, they don't ever answer the phone the lines are always "busy". I have had to show up to the clinic to get and update on my sons prosthetic.. they were not busy they were having a pizza party. something that Loma Linda would have done in 2-3 months it took hangers almost 5-6 months.. while my sons didn't have a prosthetic. As a disabled veteran, I was authorized by VA in Loma Linda to receive shoes. The vendor that they referred me to was the Hager Clinic in Riverside. This was a disastrous visit to this clinic which seems to present a staff that is totally incompetent (except for the front office staff that was courteous and competent). The technician that I was assigned to was totally incompetent. First, the initial pair of shoes that he had made for me was a size too large. When I returned those shoes the next pair of shoes were for someone else and totally different from the ones that I ordered. He apologized and stated that he would put a rush order on the shoes because of the two mistakes that he had made. Finally, after a month of not hearing from the clinic I called to ask if my shoes had arrived. I was told that the shoes were in but I was unable to pick them up because the PO order from the VA had been lost and they could not give them to me until the new PO order was received from the VA to HAGGAR CLINIC. I finally asked to speak to the manager of the facility. His communication skill was deplorable. He constantly talked without listening to my side of the story. More importantly, when I finally told him what my problem, he said he would researched it and he told me that I could not pick up the shoes until he spoke to the VA. More embarrassingly, he told me that it was my job to call the VA to generate a new order. I promptly told him that the order was already there but they lost it and that was not my position to call to get a new order. More importantly, He stated that the only way I could receive those shoes is for me to contact the VA to get the PO order. Here we are two months later and I still have not received the shoes nor have I heard from the Manager, who promised to keep me informed. The moral of this story is never do business with this clinic. If possible I would give this Clinic a big fat ZERO. read more

I see a lot of these reviews are pretty old so I just wanted to share a more recent experience with you. I've had only good experiences with the staff here. I was fitted for an ankle brace for a tendon/ankle injury. The process was quick and easy. The brace was made according to the promised schedule and I was able to pick it up when promised. I've been able to get appointments here quickly as well (usually the same week). read more

Eric Larios and his staff here are great. When I came to see them I was struggling with my prosthetic to the point where I was finding blood in my socket. Within a week time they had me fitted with a whole new socket using a different setup and we worked out all the kinks. I was back walking and was actually able to go to Disneyland and walk all day. I owe them huge. Gave me back my mobility. Can't thank them enough. read more

Staff here is rude and horrible. A simple visit turned into a huge ordeal, once I got in. I was hung up on multiple times while trying to schedule the appointment. Service is slow and patients are not even acknowledged upon arrival. Really sad as most their patients are feeble senior citizens. read more

I WOULD NOT recommend this business for a prosthetic breast. The woman who fitted me at this office was rude and condescending. The prosthetic breast form was defective and I was told by her to "just put tape on it" and that the manufacturer would not replace it so it wouldn't do any good to send it back. I was totally humiliated and WILL NOT go back to that office. read more

this place is awesome. ive been an amputee for just over a year. my temp leg was great my new one I just received is amazing. the staff is awesome, Eric is my prosthetic guy and he knows his stuff like no other. Cristian is amazing she handles my questions and paperwork like a champ as does Fernanda . I highly recommend this place If you find yourself in this kind of ordeal. I can't figure the negative reviews, I guess when you are in a bad situation your attitude about it can make it bad or good. luckily I apreciate what they've done for me. After a year, and though I have had to pay out of pocket close to $700 for my daughter with Cerebral Palsy's leg brace, we still do not have the brace. This organization was supposed to bill her secondary insurance, MediCal, and they didn't and started sending me collection notices. When I attempted to call and resolve the problem of having two forms of insurance, all the receptionist would say was "you have to speak with the collection company". So I paid for the brace, and it doesn't fit. Gave the brace back to them to repair in early Nov, 2018 and as of today I have never received a phone call back to get the adjusted brace returned. Avoid the headache and choose a different organization. read more

If my medical group didn't force me to go here - I wouldn't!!! My daughter had knee surgery and was supposed to wear the brace directly after surgery. Still waiting and it's been 3 weeks since she had surgery. They never called me with an update- very unprofessional! read more

The receptionist called me to make an appointment without knowing what the appointment was for. When I finally figured out it was for a walking boot for my son to use after he gets his cast off for a broken leg, I made an appointment for the day before his appointment to get the cast off. I had told the receptionist the date he'd be getting the cast off and she said an appt the day before was perfect. Come to find out on that day, they don't keep pediatric boots in stock and had to order it. She should have known this (obviously). The orthotist told me he'd likely have the boot the next day so my son would only be a few hours between getting his cast off and getting the boot. I called from Orange County where his specialist is the next day and was told to come back to riverside the boot was on it's way. It wasn't. The boot wouldn't be in until Monday. Unacceptable! They messed up not once but twice. I had to drive back to OC and pay out of pocket for a boot from somewhere else. Avoid this place! read more

OMG! If Kaiser Permanente warns you that you would be doing the follow up with this place because they lack the customer service, they were not kidding. First, their receptionist who answers the phone talks to you like you're bothering her and that's after she put you on hold for 10-15 minutes( she's loud no manners whatsoever and from seeing her in person, lacks the professional appearance that should be in an office). She just tells you that the person you need to talk to isn't available and transfers you to their voicemail. THEN trying to contact the person you need, forget it! I left exactly 7-8 messages to find out about my lymphedema sleeves and gloves and they SUCK at calling you back. Not once did they return my call. I had to complain to Kaisers member services that I had not received not one item, found out they charged them and mentioned I didn't get a THING cause I pick them up personally, and kaiser called them and found out they never ordered them. After all this mess, I chose to drive to Orange County to order my items from, and that's the closest one after these yahoos in Riverside. I rather drive hundreds of miles then to put up with Hanger again. Never again!! My advice, find someone else because they will never put their customer/patients first. read more

I would rate them zero stars if I could. I warn anyone who needs a prosthetic to please not come with them. Ask your insurance company to provide you another clinic. Anna should be fired!!! Literally!!! What kind of employee argues very rudely with an elderly about her not wanting to make her an appointment. Anna argued she could not make an appointment unless my mothers insurance would pay for it. They lost their first fax of the insurance saying it was approved and they WILL cover the cost and then another form cause they said it was supposably never sent. Even after receiving the form of approval Anna still refused to make my mothers appointment. Stating her reasons that she could not do it because insurance companies sometimes lie about them covering the cost. What? Are you serious! she argued with my mom for such a long time. Anna said they had to get an actual call from the Aetna insurance to confirm that they would pay the cost. Aetna have been doing it for over 15 years for my mom why would you think they wouldn't. Hanger have interrupted my moms way of living from their delays and lies and overall rudeness for a while, we will be looking for another clinic so we never have to deal with them again. read more

Do not do business with ANY Hanger Clinic. After waiting six weeks and two visits They billed my insurance and were paid the agreed upon contract price between Hanger and Anthem Blue Cross. They proceeded to send me more bills. I wrote back to them 3 times, with copies of my EOB, explaining that per my insurance, I did not owe anymore money. Today I received a call from a collection agency. My advice is to find someone else to do business with as they seem to have a cutthroat attitude. read more

My wife and I both agree that this office SHOULD BE RATED ZERO STARS. The front office staff is horrible. Christian not only lied to the case manager but lied directly to my wife. Like ALL the reviews have said, ALL of the front office staff are rude and very condescending. We also recommend EVERYONE ask their case mangers to use another service. read more
