This was a very difficult job and I had others declined to even attempt it. Hangers did an excellent job and I thought was reasonably priced. It looks amazing.

Jay hangs a collage so effortlessly...he just knows how it's supposed to look and the final product is so satisfying!!!

We had Jay come back to mount a 7ft 200lbs picture 14ft high above our fireplace. I said it before and I will say it again, Jay is an artist. It took him about 25 minutes and it was as if Spider-Man was putting these up--someone seriously needs to film him and put it on YouTube. I was thinking that I would have to help him with this but he basically did this buy himself. If you saw this you'd say no way one person can do this. And no way they could do it in 25 minutes. There were some OMG hair on the back of your neck moments --like if you were watching someone on a tightrope or free climbing a building--but he does it so casually and deliberately. Seriously amazing. He should have his own TV show. I put a 6ft ladder here so you can see the scale. The French cleat he installed is on the top of the frame.

Jay was quick to reply and easy to work with. We had 10-12 family pictures that we wanted to hang on the wall going up a set of stairs. Jay arrived on time, helped recommend a layout, and had everything hung in less than an hour! What would have taken us hours (and probably a few "choice" words) took him a fraction of the time. I reached out to Jay at the last minute to have about 10 pictures hung. He responded promptly with a time estimate and rate and was able to get me in very quickly. I was in work meetings, so I just showed him where each item should go and left him to it. He was done so quickly and everything looks great! It took him less time to hang all 10 than me to do 1-2! I had used him once before in 2011 and was happy to use him again. I'll be sure to reach out the next time I need pictures hung! read more

Jay is so efficient, incredibly professional, and his work is perfect! We recently had him hang two huge, heavy mirrors for us, several pieces of art, and had him do an entire gallery wall in our home. We were truly blown away by how quickly and beautifully he got everything done. We could not be happier with the results! To top it all off, his pricing is so fair. Also, as a sidetone, often times companies request that you write them a review, or request that you give them five-stars, which is totally understandable, but Jay did not request any of those things. Once the job was done, he thanked us and left, no mention of any reviews etc. We were just so pleased with his work that we independently felt compelled to write him a review. Whenever considering having someone come hang your mirror, painting, or other art, you might initially feel like, " that's a lot to pay, I could do this myself." A few years ago I hung a very large mirror over a mantle with incorrect hardware. It lasted a few years and then suddenly one day it snapped, Dropping and shattering the mirror. No one was hurt. This time, I decide to have a professional hang it given how expensive this mirror was. Jay from Hangers Art Installation came out twice for different pieces. He responds quickly to text message, is fast and accurate. When I asked how much it would cost to have him hang a few additional small pieces while he was here, he said no other charge. Exceptional is the first word that comes to me when reviewing the work Jay did in our new home today. After chatting with jay on Yelp, I completely forgot to confirm the date with him on his phone. I texted this am to ask if we were still on (Which, since I hadn't reached out, wasn't confirmed.) Established in 2000.

I started Hangers Art Installation in 2000. I was blessed to have a boss that believed in my idea and allowed me to work at evenings and weekends while still holding a full-time job with him. After 2 years of working both jobs, Hangers was ready to stand on it's own. Over the past 25 years I have had the pleasure of working for over 11,000 different clients, including but not limited to, Home owners, Interior Designers, Framers and Art Galleries. With this cliental we have the privilage of working in private residence, corporate offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and military bases, just to name a few.

Meet the Business Owner: Jay A.

My name is Jay Alderson. My wife, Theresa and I are the owners of Hangers Art Installation. I started Hangers Art Installation after working with interior designers in setup and staging from 1988 until 2002. The journey started in Chicago. I moved to Cali in 1995. In that time I developed many relationships with art galleries, picture framers and interior designers to name a few. After 4 years of staging model homes in So.Cal I started researching art installers. To my surprise I could only find one. That was the confirming moment that I was to start this business. After 20+ years of serving others and installing over 250,000 pieces, I could have never guessed the blessing this business would be to my family, clients and friends.

I was fortunate to have a designer recommend Jay in the early part of 2022, because I was new to the area last year, and I didn't have anyone to turn to to hang my artwork. Well, I hit the jackpot! I have never had anyone do such excellent work! Jay was precise in the way he hung everything, and after I saw the great job he was doing, I didn't even have to monitor his work. This is a fabulous service. Worth every penny. Jay is very skilled and precise. He secured a 180 lb floor mirror to my wall hung a very heavy painting on my mirror wall and also perfectly hung 4 other large paintings. My house looks so much better. Jay was great to work with. Highly efficient. Mounted a wall bracket on an 18 foot wall and then hung an antique tapestry. He also hung a very old and very heavy mirror, and a heavy iron ornamental shield. Did all 3 in under 1 hour. Highly recommend. I will definitely use him again. read more
