Great beer and cool atmosphere. They do Thursday evening jam sessions! I will definitely be making another stop here my next trip to Delaware.

Entrance. It's located on the other side of a shopping center. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating to the left of the entrance.

I love the design of the brewery. From the light fixtures to the metal rods and open shelving, you can tell a lot of thought was put into the space. They have a diverse range of beers and cider, wine, and cocktails for those, like myself, who aren't big beer drinkers. They have a projector and a stage set up for live music. We haven't been to an event yet but I could see some cool stuff happening. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We're thankful to have a brewery so close to us and plan to stop by frequently.

We loved it here! Great atmosphere, awesome bartender and the beer was good. Try the raspberry lemon honey sour, it's awesome and it's made with local honey! It looks like they have a lot of bands scheduled and live events coming up too, I feel like this area really needed something like this. Can't wait to go back!

Very nice small brewery hidden away in the back of a shopping center. About five brews from Hangman Dark, a light stout, milkshake IPA and a double IPA. Newly opened. Room inside for about 35 people socially distanced. Very friendly bar tender and owner who take their time to chat. Nice local brewery which we will frequent. T-shirts available. Growlers available.

Chess is catching on here. Personally I love both beer and chess, but if I had to pick one it would have to come from a keg

I live nearby and discovered 'Hangman Brewery & Taproom' in the fall of '21, when restaurants and bars started getting more indoor business as the pandemic eased. I knew about this establishment's opening (just two days before COVID-19 shut down the world) but didn't stop in. Well my mistake because turns out it's the kind of place that fits me well as a beer lover and music drinker, er, uh, music lover and beer drinker. The beer selection is very good, beer excellent IMO, and the environment clean and spacious considering the generous number of seats. The owner and staff are friendly, and dogs are permitted and welcomed by patrons. Food may be brought in anytime, and there are snack chips available. House music is clean and crisp but does get loud at times, same with live jams. Overall Hangman is worth a try, maybe even two if the first visit doesn't check all the boxes. Call in advance for info on upcoming events such as Sunday Funday or local band performances. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays which I'm told is necessary for brewing more beer. Popular with the Philly crowd.

I visited here during NFL opening day and it was a very enjoyable place to watch a game and have good beer. The place was super clean and had a ton of space. It was more like hanging out at a friends house than a bar. The bartender is super friendly, explains the beers well, and makes you feel at home. They sometimes have food trucks outside (which I didn't get to try) but you are welcome to bring your own food as well. The open space and laid back atmosphere makes this place perfect for catching up with a friend, a conversation focused date, or meeting with a group of colleagues. If you just want to kick back and read a book while you have some craft beer, this is the place for that too. The beers were good. They were heavy on the IPA selections which isn't my priority, but I look forward to trying more of the beers in the future. If I get to try some good stouts or seasonals, I will probably bump this up to a 5 star.

Changed my opinion of this place.

If I'm being honest, I don't know what else would draw you here; but if you're looking for a low-key, fun spot to watch a game on TV, I could see coming here for that. Beer is tasty, a mix of their own brews and locally sourced drafts. They have a handful of cocktails and soft drinks if beer is not your thing. I've always found the beer here to be above average. If you're not coming to see a game a Subaru Park, just make sure there's no events happening when you visit because there is usually a cost to park during the soccer season. This is a popular game day spot, and Larimer always stays organized, providing great service each time. Mix of indoor and outdoor seating is available, and in favorable weather, they open their large garage doors. They do not sell food! Check their socials to see if a food truck or vendor is on site if you're hoping to eat. They partner with Spite Curiosities often, which is a very tasty local vendor with delicious sandwiches and tomato pies - you MUST try their cookies! It was only another 15 minutes past Herr's and the reviews were stellar. We ordered some beers, it's really refreshing to see breweries that brew for the season, not just pump out hazy IPAs. We ordered a brown ale and a red ale, both were top notch! So glad I remembered to grab our growler before we left the house. We were able to take home a delicious 64oz of beer to have later. I ordered the chicken and waffles... One of the best versions of this classic I've had. Came with a blueberry sauce and the hostess suggested I get some hot sauce too... Perfect sweet, spicy, crunchy chicken over a pillowy waffle. Daughter got the kids chicken sandwich and everyone else got specials. It was a delicious meal. Nothing fancy but really tasty. They had trivia going on the big projector but we didn't partake. They had a small stage with toys on it where my daughter played and did some coloring before our food came out. The staff was super friendly, and was able to satisfy all of our questions about the menu and offer suggestions when people were on the fence. I do not see us coming back often however if we are even remotely close to the bog turtle I'm going to be sure we stop in!

The tasting room is spacious, with bar seating, plenty of tables for groups, and even a merchandise room featuring an old safe deposit box from the former bank, a fun and unique touch. Rolled in early on a Saturday afternoon and while there were a steady stream of people going in and out, in never got too crowded. We found our couch in the corner and hid over there amongst the plants. A few necessaries to keep in mind: No issues with parking here. F&B has some of their own spaces and if worse comes to worse, there is a public parking lot across the street by the diner that has enough spaces to probably cover whatever is happening in Woodstown. No food here per law but there are several restaurant options close by and most if not every Saturday there is some type of food truck parked out front. No table service, but it's no biggie. Up to the bar and place your order, pay right there or give them a card to open a tab and if have it settled when your done. Philly Hop Bomb - CranApple (aka Crapple) Seltzer Both were good for what they are. Nice subtle smooth cranberry flavor and a very upfront citrusy hop explosion. Also kudos to the awesome tune selection. The volume is quite loud but when we walked in they were blaring The Boy In Bubble from Paul Simon's Graceland and 38 years on, that's not a song you here anywhere. Nice. Overall, we had a very good time and while we are really never in the Woodstown area (it's business - nothing personal), if the whit and whimsy of life brings us back, F&B is definitely on the itinerary for round II. farmersandbankersbrewing.com/on-tap

My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!
